Análisis y experimentación de juegos como instrumento para enseñar matemáticas

Inicialmente, se tratará de delimitar el campo de acción al que se refiere la palabra juego y qué tipo de juegos se propone utilizar. A continuación se considerarán las razones culturales, matemáticas, educacionales, sociológicas y psicológicas que aconsejan su incorporación en la enseñanza de las Matemáticas y algunas sugerencias que ayuden a determinar su forma de utilización en el aula. Posteriormente se realizará el análisis de algunos juegos y, para finalizar, el artículo se centrará en la experimentación en el aula y las conclusiones.

Textos reproducibles y dinámicos con PythonTeX

En este artículo se describe el proceso de instalación y utilización del paquete PythonTeX en la elaboración de un texto reproducible y dinámico. Se indican los requisitos tecnológicos y el protocolo de su operación a partir de ejemplos en que se realizan operaciones con matrices y se hacen cálculos elementales de estadística descriptiva.

Textural and structural properties of bioactive glasses in the system CaO-SiO2

Gel-derived CaO-SiO2 binary glasses of CaO mole fractions 0. 2, 0.3 and 0. 4 have been prepared and characterised. Pore diameter specific pore volume, skeletal density and porosity were found to increase with increasing CaO-content, whereas a concomitant decrease in specific surface area was observed. Si-29 NMR indicated that the 0.2 CaO mole fraction glass consisted of higly polymerized Q(4) and Q(3) silicate species, with some Q(2) units. With increasing CaO mole fraction, these silicate species became progressively depolymerised such that isolated SiO4 tetrahedra were detected within the 0.4 CaO glass matrix. Unusually, the glasses retained a proportion of Q(4) and Q(3) species as the CaO mole fraction was increased. All glass formulations exhibited in vitro bioactivity. The rate of hydroxyapatite precipitation followed the order 0.2 CaO > 0.4 CaO > > 0.3 CaO, an effect that is attributed to differences in the rate of dissolution of calcium from these glasses. This, in turn, appears to be dependent upon the proportion of Ca 21 participating in the formation of the glassy network.

The emotional structure of the advertising message in radio

Radio advertising is suffering from a remarkable crisis of creativity as it has yet not found its role in a radio model based on voice locution and information genres. This article suggests the need for implementing a peripheral or heuristic strategy to attract and hold listeners’ attention. Within this framework, the narration and scene representation are proposed as suitable persuasion techniques. The objective is to design a useful conceptual tool for an efficient creative conception of narration at the service of certain commercial strategy. First, the concept of narrative persuasion is grounded according to the possibilities of the sound code. Second, the keys of scene representation and commercial strategy (brand, product, advantage, benefit and target) within the sound message are presented. And third, these keys are articulated in a model. This model is pre-tested by means of analyzing eight different case-radio ads.

The consequences of child-parent violence reflected in a life story

A process of social transformation allied with ongoing changes to the family has made possible the existence of a relatively little-known phenomenon: that of child-parent violence, which is raised as one of the most commonly experienced forms of violence in the family environment. Based on the study of this phenomenon, in our research we have used the qualitative technique of a life story, making use of a field diary in which we have taken notes on our daily work in the therapeutic context, for the purposes of mitigating the effects of such a process. The following research objectives were set: establishing the connection existing between family education style and the use of violence by the minor; and evaluating the extent to which family therapy mitigates the use of violence by the minor. The family education model, together with other dimensions, results in situations of child-parent violence occurring repeatedly, with continuing negative reinforcement from both parties in order to maintain a recurrent cycle of conduct, from which it is difficult to «escape» other than through a process of ongoing psychological therapy.
