La Comunicación se enmarca dentro del análisis y efectividad que la evaluación 360 grados tiene en el desarrollo de las competencias de trabajo en equipo por parte el alumnado de la asignatura Análisis de Mercado Turístico. En la comunicación se detallan las fases de aplicación del sistema de evaluación así como los resultados obtenidos en la ejecución de la evaluación integral o 360º. En último lugar se presentan las conclusiones de la investigación, las cuales permiten plantear una metodología o sistema de evaluación novedoso y renovado en el que se mejoran y complementan los métodos de valoración de competencias así como los mecanismos formativos adscritos a los mismos

En el present treball, membres de la Xarxa d'Innovació Docent sobre Aprenentatge Cooperatiu de la UdG analitzen els requisits de les rúbriques que garanteixen la seva eficàcia a l'hora d'avaluar el treball cooperatiu, i com aquesta eina pot ser usades per a fomentar la responsabilitat individual en els treballs autogestionats per estudiants. També es fa una proposta de rúbrica i es debaten les opcions que planteja la possibilitat que no sigui el professorat qui decideixi els elements que ha de contenir una rúbrica, sinó que aquesta sigui pactada amb l'alumnat en funció dels objectius del treball

Estudiamos el grado de implementación del trabajo colaborativo en los distintos títulos de Grado de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad de Alicante. A través del empleo de una metodología descriptiva, profundizaremos en los distintos aspectos de interés relativos al trabajo colaborativo que se recogen en las fichas oficiales de cada asignatura. Los resultados del estudio nos permitirán conocer cómo se ha implementado el trabajo colaborativo como método de aprendizaje y evaluación, tanto a nivel particular para cada una de las asignaturas analizadas, como a nivel global para las distintas titulaciones que integran nuestra Facultad

La comunicación aborda el diseño y puesta en marcha de Tutorías Académicas Grupales Evaluables (TAGE), para el desarrollo del trabajo en equipo en entornos que incluyen autoaprendizaje. Dichas TAGE se dirigen a los grupos de trabajo de la asignatura Análisis del Mercado Turístico (Grado en Turismo), en la titulación en castellano y en inglés, durante el curso 2010/2011. Se expone el diseño, organización y contenido de las TAGE y el esquema de rúbricas de evaluación, para concluir con la importancia de su aplicación, como reflejan los resultados obtenidos por los estudiantes. Se realiza un análisis comparativo de los resultados obtenidos por los estudiantes de la misma asignatura durante el curso anterior, en el que no se aplicó un sistema TAGE, así como una comparación entre la titulación bilingüe y la no bilingüe

Aquest treball es centra en descriure i explicar la realització d'un Taller d'iniciació al treball cooperatiu de l'assignatura Fonaments de Cognició Humana. Aquesta assignatura té assignada la competència de treball en equip concretada en 'Capacitat de col-laborar amb els demés i de contribuir a un projecte comú'. Per tal d'iniciar als estudiants en el treball cooperatiu es porta a terme un taller en el qual, a partir de tres dinàmiques de grup (el joc dels colors, el quadres esquerdats i construïm ponts) es mostren aspectes clau del treball en equip com la formació de grups, l'assignació i el repartiment de rols i la distribució de les tasques i responsabilitats. L'aplicació d'aquesta taller aporta molts beneficis per tal d'assentar les bases per al treball en equip dels grups i la cooperació entre els seus membres

Durante los años 2008-2010 en la Universidad Cardenal Herrera-Ceu de Valencia, se desarrollo el Proyecto SML House para participar el Concurso Internacional Solar Decathlon, que junto 19 universidades de todo el mundo pretende fomentar el diseño y construcción de viviendas autosuficientes, que utilicen solo energía procedente del sol y que hagan un uso eficiente de los recursos naturales. Durante estos años, la Universidad formo un equipo multidisciplinar con alumnos y profesores de diferentes áreas de conocimiento, y definió diversas estrategias para involucrar a los alumnos ofertando formación tanto en las propias escuelas como con empresas externas a la Universidad

Over the academic year 2000-2001, the Societat Catalana d'Ordenació del Territori organised, together with other departments of Catalan public universities, a debate on the teaching of regional and urban planning within the following disciplines: environmental science, geography, architecture, engineering, economy, law and landscape management. Moreover it was considered that attention should be paid to urban and regional planning related to postgraduate degrees. The aim was on one hand to analyse present situation, and on the other, to propose future strategies

Discovering a History: The School of Art at the University of Denver explores the early history of art education in Denver, and the significance of visual art education at the University of Denver within that history beginning in 1865, when the first classes in art were offered, and ending in 1929 when the University acquired the Chappell School of Art—an independent art school—and appointed Vance Kirkland as director. This paper also explores competing art institutions, which at times posed great hindrances to the University. Further, it illustrates how the artists who taught at the University of Denver School of Art, such as Ida De Steiguer, Preston Powers, Emma Richardson Cherry, and Henry Read, were amongst the great contributors to Denver’s burgeoning artistic culture.

Majolica pottery is one of the most characteristic tableware produced during the Medieval and Renaissance periods. Majolica technology was introduced to the Iberian Peninsula by Islamic artisans during Medieval times, and its production and popularity rapidly spread throughout Spain and eventually to other locations in Europe and the Americas. The prestige and importance of Spanish majolica was very high. Consequently, this ware was imported profusely to the Americas during the Spanish Colonial period. Nowadays, Majolica pottery serves as an important horizon marker at Spanish colonial sites. A preliminary study of Spanish-produced majolica was conducted on a set of 246 samples from the 12 primary majolica production centers on the Iberian Peninsula. The samples were analyzed by neutron activation analysis (NAA), and the resulting data were interpreted using an array of multivariate statistical procedures. Our results show a clear discrimination between different production centers. In some cases, our data allow one to distinguish amongst shards coming from the same production location suggesting different workshops or group of workshops were responsible for production of this pre-industrial pottery.

Some faculty members from different universities around the world have begun to use Wikipedia as a teaching tool in recent years. These experiences show, in most cases, very satisfactory results and a substantial improvement in various basic skills, as well as a positive influence on the students' motivation. Nevertheless and despite the growing importance of e-learning methodologies based on the use of the Internet for higher education, the use of Wikipedia as a teaching resource remains scarce among university faculty.Our investigation tries to identify which are the main factors that determine acceptance or resistance to that use. We approach the decision to use Wikipedia as a teaching tool by analyzing both the individual attributes of faculty members and the characteristics of the environment where they develop their teaching activity. From a specific survey sent to all faculty of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), pioneer and leader in online education in Spain, we have tried to infer the influence of these internal and external elements. The questionnaire was designed to measure different constructs: perceived quality of Wikipedia, teaching practices involving Wikipedia, use experience, perceived usefulness and use of 2.0 tools. Control items were also included for gathering information on gender, age, teaching experience, academic rank, and area of expertise.Our results reveal that academic rank, teaching experience, age or gender, are not decisive factors in explaining the educational use of Wikipedia. Instead, the decision to use it is closely linked to the perception of Wikipedia's quality, the use of other collaborative learning tools, an active attitude towards web 2.0 applications, and connections with the professional non-academic world. Situational context is also very important, since the use is higher when faculty members have got reference models in their close environment and when they perceive it is positively valued by their colleagues. As far as these attitudes, practices and cultural norms diverge in different scientific disciplines, we have also detected clear differences in the use of Wikipedia among areas of academic expertise. As a consequence, a greater application of Wikipedia both as a teaching resource and as a driver for teaching innovation would require much more active institutional policies and some changes in the dominant academic culture among faculty members.

A Hale cycle, one complete magnetic cycle of the Sun, spans two complete Schwabe cycles (also referred to as sunspot and, more generally, solar cycles). The approximately 22-year Hale cycle is seen in magnetic polarities of both sunspots and polar fields, as well as in the intensity of galactic cosmic rays reaching Earth, with odd- and even-numbered solar cycles displaying qualitatively different waveforms. Correct numbering of solar cycles also underpins empirical cycle-to-cycle relations which are used as first-order tests of stellar dynamo models. There has been much debate about whether the unusually long solar cycle 4 (SC4), spanning- 1784–1799, was actually two shorter solar cycles combined as a result of poor data coverage in the original Wolf sunspot number record. Indeed, the group sunspot number does show a small increase around 1794–1799 and there is evidence of an increase in the mean latitude of sunspots at this time, suggesting the existence of a cycle ‘‘4b’’. In this study, we use cosmogenic radionuclide data and associated reconstructions of the heliospheric magnetic field (HMF) to show that the Hale cycle has persisted over the last 300 years and that data prior to 1800 are more consistent with cycle 4 being a single long cycle (the ‘‘no SC4b’’ scenario). We also investigate the effect of cycle 4b on the HMF using an open solar flux (OSF) continuity model, in which the OSF source term is related to sunspot number and the OSF loss term is determined by the heliospheric current sheet tilt, assumed to be a simple function of solar cycle phase. The results are surprising; Without SC4b, the HMF shows two distinct peaks in the 1784–1799 interval, while the addition of SC4b removes the secondary peak, as the OSF loss term acts in opposition to the later rise in sunspot number. The timing and magnitude of the main SC4 HMF peak is also significantly changed by the addition of SC4b. These results are compared with the cosmogenic isotope reconstructions of HMF and historical aurora records. These data marginally favour the existence of SC4b (the ‘‘SC4b’’ scenario), though the result is less certain than that based on the persistence of the Hale cycle. Thus while the current uncertainties in the observations preclude any definitive conclusions, the data favour the ‘‘no SC4b’’ scenario. Future improvements to cosmogenic isotope reconstructions of the HMF, through either improved modelling or additional ice cores from well-separated geographic locations, may enable questions of the existence of SC4b and the phase of Hale cycle prior to the Maunder minimum to be settled conclusively.

This project was an experiment in widening the traditional borders of study in the field and looking at the phenomenon of Gothic taste in many genres and kinds of art. The Gothic taste was a major element in the cultural image of the Enlightenment both in western Europe and in Russia. It was an essential component in the world outlook of an educated person and without studying this phenomenon it is impossible to fully understand the thinking of artistic professionals, amateurs and users in Russian society in the 18th century. Mr. Khatchatourov first analysed the reasons for the importance of Gothic taste in the culture of the European Enlightenment and then studied its linguistic and lexicographic evolution in 18th century Russian culture. He sought to determine the semantic context which actively formed the human mind set in the Enlightenment, including potential users and producers of articles in the Gothic taste. He then looked at the process of absorption of this concept by those forms of art which express it most strongly, in particular architecture and the theatre. His study was based on a comprehensive historical and culturological study using a wide range of sources, a formal stylistic method approach considering the interaction of non-classical styles of the Enlightenment with the dominant classicism, and an iconographic approach which revealed the essential aspects in a new image synthesis of the culture of the Enlightenment.
