Entrepreneurs are individuals who can transform economic and social realities by promoting development, so it became important tools in generating externalities in regions where they operate. In Brazil, 59.9% of new ventures do not reach the fourth year of life, the mortality rate of new ventures is high. The causes of mortality are numerous, and within the behavioral aspects, one is the locus of control. This study determines the degree of association between internal locus of control and achieving business success of entrepreneurs in Rio Grande do Norte who participated in the workshop EMPRETEC. The approach that studies the behavior entrepreneurs agreed that there are psychological characteristics associated with a set of values, attitudes and needs that determine the behavior and induce the entrepreneur to achieve success. Among these features is the locus of control, a skill that individuals must identify in their actions, or lack of them, the causes of their successes and failures. The locus is external when the individual attributes to factors outside themselves as causes of their results, and is built in when you can identify the actions that led to success. We surveyed 223 entrepreneurs statewide who answered the questionnaire for assessing the scale of locus of control, selfassessment questionnaire of entrepreneurial characteristics of EMPRETEC and a questionnaire assessing the business success. 71.9% were identified as having success. Among the behavioral characteristics strongest in the group of entrepreneurs are setting goals and commitment. Was found for locus of control mean value of 7.35, confidence interval between 7.05 and 7.66. Showing that the locus of control group is predominantly internal. We also found a correlation between the locus and commitment, between setting goals and commitment; calculated risks and information search; search of information and commitment, and between commitment and independence and self confidence. Dependence was not identified among the set of features and business success, determining the absence of an ideal profile. However, logistic regression significant association was found indicating that the smaller the individual's locus of control increased the likelihood of it achieving business success

The subject Responsibility Enterprise Social (RSE) is relatively recent in the half national academic and the world of the management businesses as practical. For the lack of socialization of experiences and clarity of concepts, shunting lines in the agreement of the subject and the conduction of the interventions occur. It was looked to inquire, in this research, the development of the project of Social Responsibility Enterprise ―School of Computer science and Citizenship‖ of a situated company in the State of Pará, objectifying to evaluate it and later to understand it. For this, one searched to describe the characteristics and structure of the School, to identify to the lines and lines of direction adopted for this Project and to identify to the influence and results of the same in the life of pupils, professors and egresses of the School. It is characterized for a study of case with qualitative boarding of descriptive character, carried through interviews structuralized in a sample of 21 divided members of the School between professors, pupils and egresses. It was used of the analysis of categorical content, having as axle for the interpretation of the data the Social Responsibility, the Digital Inclusion and the Education. The gotten results inform that the infrastructure has challenges to face, point disparities between the conception and practical of the categories characterized in the Politician-Pedagogical Project of the EIC and the influence that, exactly under limits, the life of the professors, pupils reaches and egress. One evidenced that Social action for damages of this company when come back toward this project, they had not been evidenced. For this prism, these actions had only remained in the assistencialist speech and not structural, being thus, the company is not fulfilling its paper of transforming element of the reality of its clientele and the population that lives in it s around

O presente trabalho relata e analisa o processo de internacionalização tendo em atenção os antecedentes que conduziram ao sucesso das empresas analisadas. O método utilizado foi a pesquisa qualitativa, e envolveu sete entrevistas individuais realizadas numa pequena e média empresa (PME), a Valart (cinco entrevistas), e duas multinacionais, a Bosch e a Quimialmel (um quadro superior entrevistado em cada uma). Os resultados obtidos foram discutidos à luz da literatura, após a transcrição das entrevistas e codificação dos dados primários recolhidos. Pretendeu-se entender como é que as grandes multinacionais Bosch e Quimialmel alcançaram o seu sucesso a nível internacional, assim como analisar, também, como a Valart cresceu e expandiu-se ao longo do tempo. Foi então realizada uma revisão da literatura em que foram abordados temas como a internacionalização, a globalização, o marketing e a inovação, conceitos relevantes ao desenvolvimento deste estudo, revisão essa completada após o trabalho de campo, seguindo-se o grounded theory. No conteúdo do trabalho também são relatadas as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio na Valart, e é feita uma análise da empresa e do produto principal em questão (porta-contentores marítimos ou sideloaders). Assim, com a revisão da literatura e análise dos resultados obtidos foi possível retirar conclusões e tecer recomendações de ação / gestão na Valart, tais como investir em colaboradores especializados, abrir um departamento de marketing interligado com o comercial, e sempre apoiado em ferramentas informáticas que poderão fomentar a inovação. Os antecedentes que guiam as empresas analisadas a uma internacionalização de sucesso, internacionalização essa que tem sido gradual e por fases, nas empresas abordadas, incluem: rede de contactos internacional, competência da força de vendas, investigação e desenvolvimento (I&D) que leva a produtos diferenciados, parcerias com universidades, orientação para o cliente, existência de uma marca forte, estrutura de custos eficiente, e aproveitamento do capital humano interno. Por fim, é relevante referir que a crise interna em Portugal tem sido um fator incentivador da procura de diversificação de mercados a nível internacional. Como resultado deste estudo foi apresentado um artigo na conferência internacional ICERI 2014 (Au-Yong-Oliveira e Coelho, 2014).

O presente trabalho tem como propósito responder a questão "qual o interesse estratégico de empresas do distrito de Aveiro se internacionalizarem para os Países Africanos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa (PALOP) e/ ou Brasil - Ceará?". O objeto de estudo surgiu após a integração num estágio curricular na AIDA - Associação Industrial do Distrito de Aveiro - e levou à revisão da literatura dos temas estratégia e internacionalização, assim como ao trabalho de campo (6 entrevistas a colaboradoras da AIDA), proporcionando as componentes conceptual e empírica. Verificou-se que o setor de atividade é fundamental para o sucesso das empresas nas missões. Designadamente, bastantes empresas ligadas ao setor metalomecânico, que tendem a recorrer a estes mercados dos PALOP e/ ou Brasil - Ceará, alcançaram, em muitos casos, o sucesso - isto é, a concretização de negócios com novos clientes e / ou o investimento direto nesses países. O contributo do presente trabalho reside também na perspetiva, resultante de um inquérito desenvolido no âmbito do estágio no Gabinete de Relações Exteriores da AIDA, de que ainda que se verifique uma janela de oportunidade para algumas das empresas nos referidos mercados (PALOP e Brasil - Ceará), entende-se que, para o sucesso efetivo destas empresas, outras formas de empreender poderiam ser colocadas em prática, nomeadamente alianças estratégicas entre pequenas e médias empresas (PME) de setores semelhantes, a nível local (Portugal), para competirem a nível internacional com os respetivos líderes de mercado. Desta forma, sugere-se lutar pela competitividade não só nos PALOP mas também nos mercados desenvolvidos, tais como Alemanha, Estados Unidos da América e/ ou países escandinavos - pois somente com clientes exigentes e com a pressão de concorrentes fortes poder-se-ão criar indústrias desenvolvidas e capazes de competir ao mais elevado nível e pelos melhores clientes, com poder de compra e fontes de inovação (Porter, 1990). Estas lições parecem, por ezes, esquecidas, mas segundo Gibbs (2007) um dos propósitos da investigação é também o de lembrar o que foi esquecido e/ ou ignorado. As entrevistas realizadas ofereceram contributo na medida em que proporcionam a compreensão dos motivos para as empresas portuguesas escolherem estes mercados, das razões para o sucesso ou insucesso nos PALOP e/ ou Brasil - Ceará, do investimento e esforço por parte das entidades não-governamentais portuguesas em internacionalizar empresas do setor da metalomecânica, das forças e fraquezas das missões empresariais, de que aspetos fazem da AIDA um agente de mudança e das áreas em que poderia haver maior diligência por parte da AIDA.São também sugeridas recomendações a associação, entre outras, a inclusão das questões culturais de cada país nos estudos de mercado não só sobre PALOP e Brasil - Ceará, mas também nos estudos de mercado do distrito de Aveiro, assim como de Portugal, para fazer divulgação a potenciais importadores; melhoria de processos, implementando-se um software de gestão/ partilha de conhecimento das várias oportunidades de negócio, rentabilizando o processo de estabelecimento de interesse em realizar negócio, no âmbito do EEN (Entelprise Eumpe Netwrk); intervenção na plataforma do IAPMEI por informáticos habilitados; e armazenamento de dados em cloud storage - um serviço do género da Dropbox, de modo a rentabilizar o tempo dispendido, assim como a tornar as pastas acedidas via intranet mais pequenas.

Atualmente, um dos aspectos da gestão da informação que se encontra em evidência é o da arquitetura empresarial, entendida como o conjunto de políticas e escolhas técnicas de padronização e integração para viabilizar as estratégias de negócios da organização. Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar a integração de dois sistemas de gestão na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) a partir das lentes da arquitetura empresarial. A influência dessa abordagem induz a organização a desenvolver um alicerce de execução com o interesse de suportar com maior eficiência sua estratégia e obter agilidade em seus processos de negócio. A análise da integração desses dois sistemas, através de entrevistas semiestruturadas, no âmbito da UFRN possibilitou a percepção da necessidade de uma estruturação dos processos de TI a partir de uma arquitetura que favoreça um melhor alinhamento das capacidades de TI aos objetivos da organização. A ausência de um modelo operacional pode comprometer a eficiência do Sistema Integrado de Gestão das Atividades Acadêmicas (SIGAA) da UFRN na realização do seu objetivo como plataforma única de gestão das informações da universidade

O planejamento estratégico é o processo através do qual as empresas identificam recursos potenciais, reconhecem fraquezas, avaliam oportunidades e ameaças no ambiente que atuam e formulam as estratégias para obter vantagens competitivas sobre a concorrência, assegurando o sucesso dos resultados planejados. Esse trabalho desenvolveu-se com o objetivo de aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre o processo de planejamento estratégico e adaptá-lo à realidade das empresas de pequeno porte, através de um caso prático, com a elaboração do plano de negócios de uma pequena empresa de prestação de serviços no segmento de educação especial, o caso “Mundo Novo Educação Especial”. Com relação à metodologia adotada, podemos descrevê-la como uma abordagem qualitativa, com design exploratório através de pesquisa bibliográfica para a fundamentação teórica sobre o processo de planejamento estratégico, seguida de estudo de caso aplicado ao planejamento estratégico da empresa Mundo Novo Educação Especial, com levantamento de dados secundários internos e externos, e dados primários qualitativos. Dentre as conclusões do estudo foi possível identificar a existência de uma grande lacuna de conhecimento sobre os processos de gestão empresarial no ambiente da empresa pesquisada, e que esse despreparo e a falta de planejamento podem torna-la mais vulnerável aos riscos do mercado e contribuir para o seu insucesso. Isso reforça a importância do processo de planejamento estratégico como uma ferramenta de apoio que amplia o conhecimento sobre o ambiente de negócios, desenvolve habilidades de gestão e que pode ser adequado a todos os tipos de empresas, inclusive às empresas de pequeno porte, como no caso estudado.

La formación de un empresario es un proceso en el cual intervienen un sinnúmero de variables sociales, culturales, psicológicas y económicas que contribuyen, con un conjunto de conocimientos específicos, a desarrollar una serie de competencias que buscan lograr que este empresario en formación tenga altas probabilidades de convertirse en un empresario exitoso, capaz de generar riqueza y desarrollo social a lo largo de su vida. Esta investigación, cuyo objetivo principal es plantear un modelo de formación empresarial teniendo en cuenta el ciclo de carrera empresarial ha tomado en cuenta diversos elementos de la teoría general de Entrepreneurship y las experiencias que el CDEE (Centro de Desarrollo de Espíritu Empresarial) ha tenido en sus veintiún años de actividad en el área, con diversos públicos. Como resultado de este análisis, la investigación propone un modelo de formación empresarial fundamentado en dos tipos de competencias: las competencias de conocimiento (CC) relacionadas con los conocimientos requeridos para el desarrollo de la empresa, y las competencias personales entendidas como las habilidades, comportamientos, actitudes y valores necesarios para convertirse en un empresario exitoso a lo largo del tiempo. Adicionalmente el modelo contiene seis etapas en el proceso: la de formación en espíritu empresarial la de formación en generación y evaluación de ideas de negocio, la de evaluación de oportunidad de negocio, la de elaboración del plan de negocio, la del proceso de arranque y la de crecimiento y desarrollo, cada una de ellas apoyadas en un proceso educativo y con recursos especialmente asignados, y todas interrelacionadas.

The knowledge of molybdenum application in legumes on the availability of N, by BNF, increased enzymatic activity and the residual effect caused on crops growth and yield can contribute to the greater scientific understanding involved in green manure processes. The aim of this study was to evaluate the Mo application and the N from Crotalaria juncea and Canavalia ensiformis green manures on common bean performance. Were conducted field experiments for the crops succession system (green manures - common bean) and laboratory essays for the enzymatic activities. Green manure production was installed in a factorial arrangement 2 x 4, with two green manure legumes species, sunnhemp (Crotalaria juncea) and jack beans (Canavalia ensiformis), and four Mo doses (0, 40, 80, 120 g ha-1) in the form of sodium molybdate (Na2MoO4), foliar applied, in a randomized block design with four replicates. For succession crop (common bean) additional treatment was added, beans grown without any fertilization, following the same experimental design from the previous crop. The dry matter decomposition and the N mineralization of green manure were monitored through collection of residues over time, by using the litter bags method. In laboratory were carried out tests of nitrate reductase activity in green manures and common beans at 90 and 66 days after sowing, respectively. The sunnhemp responded linearly positively to the application of Mo as the dry matter and N accumulation. While the jack beans presented a negative quadratic response for dry matter and there was no adjustment of regression models to N. The jack beans showed a higher decomposition rate and N mineralization compared to sunnhemp. The half lives for decomposing 50% of dry matter on the soil was 123 and 104 days to sunnhemp and jack beans, respectively, and 50% of N present in the residues was mineralized at 93 and 85 days. In common bean, differed from the control for number of pods the dose of 40 g ha-1 of Mo in both species of green manures and the dose 80 g ha-1 of Mo in jack beans. For number of grains only in sunnhemp on the dose of 40 g ha-1 of Mo differ from the control. The nitrate reductase activity was influenced by developmental stage of green manure species. In common bean, the activity of nitrate reductase was up to three times higher than the dose 0 g ha-1 of Mo compared to treatment with application of Mo in both species. There was no effect of Mo doses or species of green manure on common bean yield.

To achieve high yields the corn crop is dependent on nitrogen. Systems of cover crops preceding corn and form of land cultivation are essential for the best use of nitrogen by corn. This study aimed to evaluate the use or not of nitrogen fertilization in corn in succession to cover crops, planted in three cropping systems. The experimental design was randomized blocks with sub-divided portion where the main plots consisted of three cultivation systems (tillage, conventional tillage and minimum tillage), the subplots by four plant cover in monocrop (oat, hairy vetch, field peas and turnip) and sub-subplots by nitrogen fertilization (0 and 160 kg ha-1 N). Evaluations were performed, the cover crops, soil cover rate, dry matter, content and accumulation of nutrients. In corn we evaluated yield components, yield, chlorophyll and nutrient levels in leaves. Among the species coverage studied the oat showed hardiness in the experiment, covering ground faster and showing more dry matter, however vetch hairy showed higher concentrations of N, P and K and higher accumulation of N ha-1. The soil tillage system influenced the K leaf content. The interaction cultivation x coverage showed significance for the total chlorophyll of corn. In the absence of N, N content and chlorophyll were higher where the corn was sown on the pea and hairy vetch. The corn production, despite a higher average in the presence of nitrogen fertilization, did not differ significantly when used the pea and hairy vetch as a cover crop.

In recent decades the public sector comes under pressure in order to improve its performance. The use of Information Technology (IT) has been a tool increasingly used in reaching that goal. Thus, it has become an important issue in public organizations, particularly in institutions of higher education, determine which factors influence the acceptance and use of technology, impacting on the success of its implementation and the desired organizational results. The Technology Acceptance Model - TAM was used as the basis for this study and is based on the constructs perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. However, when it comes to integrated management systems due to the complexity of its implementation,organizational factors were added to thus seek further explanation of the acceptance of such systems. Thus, added to the model five TAM constructs related to critical success factors in implementing ERP systems, they are: support of top management, communication, training, cooperation, and technological complexity (BUENO and SALMERON, 2008). Based on the foregoing, launches the following research problem: What factors influence the acceptance and use of SIE / module academic at the Federal University of Para, from the users' perception of teachers and technicians? The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of organizational factors, and behavioral antecedents of behavioral intention to use the SIE / module academic UFPA in the perspective of teachers and technical users. This is applied research, exploratory and descriptive, quantitative with the implementation of a survey, and data collection occurred through a structured questionnaire applied to a sample of 229 teachers and 30 technical and administrative staff. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling with the technique of partial least squares (PLS). Effected primarily to assess the measurement model, which were verified reliability, convergent and discriminant validity for all indicators and constructs. Then the structural model was analyzed using the bootstrap resampling technique like. In assessing statistical significance, all hypotheses were supported. The coefficient of determination (R ²) was high or average in five of the six endogenous variables, so the model explains 47.3% of the variation in behavioral intention. It is noteworthy that among the antecedents of behavioral intention (BI) analyzed in this study, perceived usefulness is the variable that has a greater effect on behavioral intention, followed by ease of use (PEU) and attitude (AT). Among the organizational aspects (critical success factors) studied technological complexity (TC) and training (ERT) were those with greatest effect on behavioral intention to use, although these effects were lower than those produced by behavioral factors (originating from TAM). It is pointed out further that the support of senior management (TMS) showed, among all variables, the least effect on the intention to use (BI) and was followed by communications (COM) and cooperation (CO), which exert a low effect on behavioral intention (BI). Therefore, as other studies on the TAM constructs were adequate for the present research. Thus, the study contributed towards proving evidence that the Technology Acceptance Model can be applied to predict the acceptance of integrated management systems, even in public. The theme of corporate social responsibility (CSR) provides discussion and analysis and relatively recent, particularly in the last twenty years, has grown into the world as well as in Brazil, the interest on the involvement of the business sector in social activities or projects facing combating poverty. However, a lack of socialization of successful experiences in the practice of CSR and clarity and consensus concepts generate deviations of understanding on the subject and the structuring of interventions. This research aimed to reveal how corporate social responsibility of the IMA Food was developed from Project Nursery Saci. The research took place under a qualitative approach of descriptive-explanatory, conducted through semi-structured interviews and non-participatory observation and interviewed 35 people in total. The interpretation and analysis of data occurred through a categorical content analysis, having as theoretical approach to socioeconomic CSR. The results showed that the major form of social responsibility of the Food IMA is based on a classical approach of CSR, focusing on philanthropy. The absence of a more systematic management of the project and reflect the fragility, instability and lack of commitment towards the community. The contributions generated by the project are substantial and important, but do not reach the development occasioned by the company. However, none of this invalidates the initiative of the organization's commitment to the community, however, requires a reassessment and restructuring of the proposal in a way that leverages the performance of the project and the company itself and it can more effectively contribute to society

The research work is devoted to actual problems of development management of industrial enterprises. The general purpose of this work is the choice and justification of rational enterprise development evaluation model and subsequent application of it for assessment of enterprise development level and also forming of recommendations for enterprise management. Theoretical aspects of development management of enterprises were generalized. The approaches to understanding the essence of development enterprise category and its types were considered. It was investigated the evaluation models of enterprise development, their advantages and disadvantages and the difficulties of their implementation. The requirements for formation of the evaluation system of the enterprise development were summarized. It was determined the features of the formation and application of an Index of Enterprise Development. In the empirical part, data about investigated enterprises was collected from their official websites and also complemented with further data from other statistical websites. The analysis was based on the annual financial statements of companies. To assess the level of enterprise development were chosen model proposed by Feshchur and Samulyak (2010). This model involves the calculation of the Index of Enterprise Development using partial indicators, their reference values and weight. It was conducted an analysis of the development of Ukrainian enterprises that produce sauces. OJSC “LZHK” had the highest value of Index of Enterprise Development, in 2013 and 2015, that consisted 0,78 and 0,76 respectively. In 2014 the highest value for the Index belonged to PJSC “Volynholdinh” and amounted 0,74. OJSC “LZHK” had the highest average value of Index of Enterprise Development by the result of 2013-2015 years, and it consisted 0,70. PJSC “Chumak” had the lowest average value of Index of Enterprise Development obtained the result 0,59. In order to raise the enterprise development level, it was suggested to reduce production costs and staff turnover, increase the involvement of employees.
