Tanulmányunk a gazdasági versenyképességgel, kiemelten annak nemzetgazdasági szintű vetületével és a sport esetében történő értelmezésével foglakozik. A gazdasági versenyképesség esetén kiemelten kezeljük az IMD és a WEF versenyképességi rangsorait, a sport esetén pedig szétválasztjuk a hivatásos és a szabadidősportot. A hivatásos sport esetén bemutatjuk a sportszakmai versenyképességet indikáló és a sportszakmai versenyképességre hatással lévő gazdasági és társadalmi mutatókat egyaránt. Összehasonlítási csoportot képeztünk, amelyben Magyarország és a környező országok szerepelnek és a komparatív elemzés kiterjed a gazdasági és a sportszakmai versenyképességre, valamint a sportszakmai versenyképességre ható gazdasági és társadalmi tényezőkre egyaránt. A sportszakmai versenyképességet az olimpiai érmek számával és azok pontértékével mérjük, amit az olimpiák teljes történelmére és az elmúlt 20 év különböző szakaszaira egyaránt vizsgálunk, míg a gazdasági és társadalmi tényezőket csak a mondanivalónk szempontjából legrelevánsabb évekre, az új évezredre vizsgálunk. A hivatásos sporttal kapcsolatos versenyképességi kérdésekből azt a következtetést vontuk le, hogy Magyarország történelmi sportszakmai eredményességének fenntartását a jelen gazdasági és társadalmi tényezők nem igazolják, sőt az elmúlt időszak visszaesését támasztják alá és a Londoni olimpián való szereplésünkkel kapcsolatban inkább az összehasonlítási csoporton belüli további visszacsúszást, mintsem az eredmény javulását támogatják. A tanulmányban azt állítjuk, hogy egyéni, vállalati és makrogazdasági versenyképességet is javíthat a szabadidősport. Mikro szinten, majd makrogazdasági szinten elemeztük a szabadidősport hatásait, valamint próbáltunk választ keresni arra a kérdésre, hogy hogyan válhat az egyén, a vállalat és végső célként a gazdaság versenyképesebbé a fizikai aktivitás által. A kevesebb betegség és egészségügyi kiadás, vagy éppen a kedvezőbb várható élettartami mutatók mellett termelékenység-növekedés, a versenyképességi rangsorokban pedig előkelőbb helyezések érhetők el. ______ Our paper tackles the concept of competitiveness in the national level and interprets it also in the field of sport as well. In the economics field we focus on the competitiveness rankings of IMD and WEF and in the sport field we differentiate between professional and leisure sport. In the case of professional sport we introduce the measures of sport competitiveness and its influencing economic and social factors as well. We have made a peer group which contains Hungary and its neighboring countries and the comparative study tackles the sport competitiveness and the influencing economic and social factors as well. We measure sport competitiveness with the Olympic medal count and the medals point value, which is counted in the whole Olympic history, and different phases of the last 20 years. The economic and social factors are compared only in the new millennia as this is the most relevant time frame of this study. From the competitiveness analysis of professional sport we concluded that the maintenance of Hungary’s historical sport successes is not proved by nowadays economic and social factors, however they support the past years decline. These factors also indicate that in London (2012)we would rather slip one more position back in the peer group, than rise again from our ashes. In our opinion leisure sport could enhance the competitiveness of individuals, companies, and economy also. We analysed the effects of leisure sport on the microeconomic and macroeconomic level, and tried to find answer to that question how could be individuals, companies, and economy more competitive through leisure sport. Besides less illness and health care expenditures, longer life expectancy, productivity growth, countries could be well placed in competitiveness’ rankings.

Az innovatív, induló vállalkozások kiemelt jelentőségűek a gazdasági növekedés szempontjából, de jelentős finanszírozási nehézségekkel küzdenek. A kockázati tőkések tekinthetők a fiatal, magas kockázatú vállalatok finanszírozóinak, a kockázatitőkebefektetések kínálata azonban visszaesett a 2008-as gazdasági válság hatására. Magyarországon a kockázati tőkekínálat visszaesése és a mikro-, kis- és középvállalatok rendelkezésére álló, szűkös hitelforrások olyan helyzetet teremtettek, ahol az állami szerepvállalás kerülhetett előtérbe. Tanulmányunkban áttekintjük az induló, innovatív vállalkozások finanszírozási sajátosságait, valamint a kockázatitőke-befektetések főbb jellemzőit és aktuális európai trendjeit. Ezek után az állami beavatkozással foglalkozunk: mivel indokolható az állami szerepvállalás, és az állam milyen eszközökkel segítheti az innovációk megvalósítását? Végül ennek egy megvalósulását, a Magyarországon is elindult Jeremie-programot mutatjuk be, és az eddigi kihelyezések befektetési portfólióját elemezzük a hazai gyakorlat alapján.

This study is an attempt at achieving Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) using a solar Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) based on exergetic and economic measures. The working fluid, working conditions of the cycle, cycle configuration, and solar collector type are considered the optimization parameters for the solar ORC system. In the first section, a procedure is developed to compare ORC working fluids based on their molecular components, temperature-entropy diagram and fluid effects on the thermal efficiency, net power generated, vapor expansion ratio, and exergy efficiency of the Rankine cycle. Fluids with the best cycle performance are recognized in two different temperature levels within two different categories of fluids: refrigerants and non-refrigerants. Important factors that could lead to irreversibility reduction of the solar ORC are also investigated in this study. In the next section, the system requirements needed to maintain the electricity demand of a geothermal air-conditioned commercial building located in Pensacola of Florida is considered as the criteria to select the optimal components and optimal working condition of the system. The solar collector loop, building, and geothermal air conditioning system are modeled using TRNSYS. Available electricity bills of the building and the 3-week monitoring data on the performance of the geothermal system are employed to calibrate the simulation. The simulation is repeated for Miami and Houston in order to evaluate the effect of the different solar radiations on the system requirements. The final section discusses the exergoeconomic analysis of the ORC system with the optimum performance. Exergoeconomics rests on the philosophy that exergy is the only rational basis for assigning monetary costs to a system’s interactions with its surroundings and to the sources of thermodynamic inefficiencies within it. Exergoeconomic analysis of the optimal ORC system shows that the ratio Rex of the annual exergy loss to the capital cost can be considered a key parameter in optimizing a solar ORC system from the thermodynamic and economic point of view. It also shows that there is a systematic correlation between the exergy loss and capital cost for the investigated solar ORC system.

Surface samples, mostly from abyssal sediments of the South Atlantic, from parts of the equatorial Atlantic, and of the Antarctic Ocean, were investigated for clay content and clay mineral composition. Maps of relative clay mineral content were compiled, which improve previous maps by showing more details, especially at high latitudes. Large-scale relations regarding the origin and transport paths of detrital clay are revealed. High smectite concentrations are observed in abyssal regions, primarily derived from southernmost South America and from minor sources in Southwest Africa. Near submarine volcanoes of the Antarctic Ocean (South Sandwich, Bouvet Island) smectite contents exhibit distinct maxima, which is ascribed to the weathering of altered basalts and volcanic glasses. The illite distribution can be subdivided into five major zones including two maxima revealing both South African and Antarctic sources. A particularly high amount of Mg- and Fe-rich illites are observed close to East Antarctica. They are derived from biotite-bearing crystalline rocks and transported to the west by the East Antarctic Coastal Current. Chiorite and well-crystallized dioctaedral illite are typical minerals enriched within the Subantarctic and Polarfrontal-Zone but of minor importance off East Antarctica. Kaolinite dominates the clay mineral assemblage at low latitudes, where the continental source rocks (West Africa, Brazil) are mainly affected by intensive chemical weathering. Surprisingly, a slight increase of kaolinite is observed in the Enderby Basin and near the Filchner-Ronne Ice shelf. The investigated area can be subdivided into ten, large-scale clay facies zones with characteristic possible source regions and transport paths. Clay mineral assemblages of the largest part of the South Atlantic, especially of the western basins are dominated by chlorite and illite derived from the Antarctic Peninsula and southernmost South America and supported by advection within the Circumantarctic Deep Water flow. In contrast, the East Antarctic provinces are relatively small. Assemblages of the eastern basins north of 30°S are strongly influenced by African sources, controlled by weathering regimes on land and by a complex interaction of wind, river and deep ocean transport. The strong gradient in clay mineral composition at the Brazilian slope indicate a relatively low contribution of tropically derived assemblages to the western basins.

Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of Late Quaternary surface sediment and sediment cores from the south Atlantic and southeast Pacific sectors of the Southern Ocean are used to constrain the provenance and transport mechanisms of their terrigenous component. We report isotopic and mineralogical data for core samples from three localities, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 41°S and the northern and southern Scotia Sea. In addition, data for surface sediment samples from the south Atlantic and southeast Pacific sectors of the Southern Ocean are presented. The variations of Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of the bulk sediment samples in all cores were correlated with the magnetic susceptibility of the sediment and with the inferred glacial-interglacial stages. The isotopic data indicate that, during glacial periods, sediment was delivered from continental crust with a shorter residence time than that supplying material during interglacial periods. At the core site near the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Nd isotopic, combined with mineralogical evidence indicates interglacial period deposition of a relatively high amount of kaolinite and silt with low epsilon-Nd values < -8. The material was probably supplied by North Atlantic Deep Water from low latitudes. For glacial periods, a high contribution of silt and clay with epsilon-Nd > -4.5, probably derived from southern South America, was indicated. The glacial-interglacial shift in sources may be due to either a decreasing influence of North Atlantic Deep Water during glacial times or by a larger contribution of glaciogenic detritus from southern South America. At the core site in the northern Scotia Sea, sediment of interglacial periods is dominated by smectite with epsilon-Nd < - 6 and silt with epsilon-Nd > -4. We suggest that smectite was derived from the Falkland shelf and silt was derived from the Argentinian shelf. During glacial periods, the Argentinian shelf was an important source for silt and chlorite with epsilon-Nd > -4. The contribution from the Falkland shelf seems to have remained similar during glacial and interglacial periods. Hydrographic transport by bottom currents and turbidites could account for the high glacial detrital flux. An evaluation of the significance of an aeolian contribution to deep sea sediment suggests that it plays only a minor role. In the southern Scotia Sea, the Antarctic Peninsula is considered an important source for young material with epsilon-Nd > -4, in particular during glacial periods. During interglacial periods, sediment supply from the Antarctic Peninsula was lower than during glacial times, resulting in a relatively high contribution of old material (epsilon-Nd < -8) from East Antarctica. Deep water currents and icebergs could account for the transport of the old component to the southern Scotia Sea. The accumulation rates of material from the various source regions for glacial times are in agreement with an increase in the strength of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current. The production rate and the circulation pattern of bottom water in the Weddell Sea appear to have remained similar over most of the last 150 kyr.

Despite elevated incidence and recurrence rates for Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax (PSP), little is known about its etiology, and the genetics of idiopathic PSP remains unexplored. To identify genetic variants contributing to sporadic PSP risk, we conducted the first PSP genome-wide association study. Two replicate pools of 92 Portuguese PSP cases and of 129 age- and sex-matched controls were allelotyped in triplicate on the Affymetrix Human SNP Array 6.0 arrays. Markers passing quality control were ranked by relative allele score difference between cases and controls (|RASdiff|), by a novel cluster method and by a combined Z-test. 101 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were selected using these three approaches for technical validation by individual genotyping in the discovery dataset. 87 out of 94 successfully tested SNPs were nominally associated in the discovery dataset. Replication of the 87 technically validated SNPs was then carried out in an independent replication dataset of 100 Portuguese cases and 425 controls. The intergenic rs4733649 SNP in chromosome 8 (between LINC00824 and LINC00977) was associated with PSP in the discovery (P = 4.07E-03, ORC[95% CI] = 1.88[1.22-2.89]), replication (P = 1.50E-02, ORC[95% CI] = 1.50[1.08-2.09]) and combined datasets (P = 8.61E-05, ORC[95% CI] = 1.65[1.29-2.13]). This study identified for the first time one genetic risk factor for sporadic PSP, but future studies are warranted to further confirm this finding in other populations and uncover its functional role in PSP pathogenesis.

O referido projeto tem como objetivo principal a avaliação das capacidades técnicas, económicas e ambientais da ilha do Príncipe (República democrática de S. Tomé e Príncipe) para possibilitar a instalação de uma central piloto (500 kW) de produção de energia elétrica a partir de biomassa captada proveniente de la floresta (resíduos florestais) e campos agrícolas(resíduos agrícolas) com intuito de aumentar a potência total instalada na ilha. S. Tomé e Príncipe é um país subdesenvolvido e partilha de um dos maiores problemas dos países dessa categoria, a precária produção e distribuição da energia elétrica a população. Em S. Tomé e Príncipe estes problemas são derivados a fraca potência instalada e dependência de combustíveis fósseis. Especificamente na ilha do Príncipe, a situação é ainda mais complicada, situação prendesse com o facto de que o transporte de combustível da Ilha de S. Tomé para a ilha do Príncipe não se processar num regime contínuo, devido ao aumento do consumo pela população da Ilha do Príncipe conjugado com a fraca potência instalada e a falta de condições ideais de armazenamento de combustível, o que origina muitas falhas na distribuição de eletricidade ou uma racionalidade na sua distribuição. A racionalidade de distribuição de eletricidade na ilha do Príncipe segue o princípio de fornecimento em momentos de maior necessidade, isto é: horários em que as famílias se encontram juntas em suas casas (18 as 24h), períodos de maior produtividade da ilha (8 as 12h), com interregnos de várias horas na distribuição. Este princípio não respeita instituições como os hospitais onde a necessidade de energia elétrica permanente é uma necessidade. Outra motivação para a elaboração deste projeto é o facto de que a ilha do Príncipe a partir de ano 2012 passou a ser uma reserva da Biosfera da UNESCO. Este facto obrigou obviamente a ilha do Príncipe a ter uma maior preocupação com a sustentabilidade ambiental. Perante essas necessidades, surgiu a necessidade de criação de um projeto que tentasse cobrir as lacunas elétricas da Ilha do Príncipe. O projeto é ambicioso, não só para S. Tomé e Príncipe, mas também para todos os países da região e principalmente aqueles com grande potencialidade em biomassa florestal e agrícola.

The presented work is related to the use of solar energy for the needs of heating and electricity for a single house located in Poland. Electricity will provided by energy conversion in the turbine by means of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), in which the operating medium (water heated in solar collector) is heating refrigerator in the heating exchanger. The solar installation is integrated with heat accumulator and wood boiler, which is used in the situation that collector is not enough to fill requirements of thermal comfort. There are chosen also all the necessary components of the system. In the work is also performed the economic assessment, by F chart method, to evaluate the profitability of the project, taking into total costs and savings.

During the Sedimentation of the platform carbonate deposits of the Korallenoolith Formation (middle Oxfordian to early Kimmeridgian) small buildups ofcorals formed in the Lower Saxony Basin. These bioconstructions are restricted to particular horizons (Untere Korallenbank,ßorigenuna-Bank Member etc.) and represent patch reefs and biostromes. In this study, the development of facies, fossil assemblages, spatial distribution of fossils, and reefs of the ßorigenuna-Bank Member (upper Middle Oxfordian) in the Süntel Mts and the eastern Wesergebirge Mts is described; the formation of reefs is discussed in detail. Twelve facies types are described and interpreted. They vary between high-energy deposits as well winnowed oolites and quiet-water lagoonal mudstones. Owing to the significance of biota, micro- and macrofossils are systematically described. The reefs are preserved in growth position, are characterized by numerous corresponding features and belong to a certain reef type. According to their size, shape and framework, they represent patch reefs, coral knobs (sensu James, 1983), coral thrombolite reefs (sensu Leinfelder et al., 1994) or “Klein- and Mitteldickichte” (sensu Laternser, 2001). Their growth fabric corresponds to the superstratal (dense) pillarstone (sensu Insalaco, 1998). As the top of the ßorigenuna-Bank displays an erosional unconformity (so-called Hauptdiskontinuität), the top of the reefs are erosionally capped. Their maximum height amounts to at least the maximum thickness of the ßorigenuna-Bank which does not exceed 4 metres. The diversity of coral fauna of the reefs is relatively low; a total of 13 species is recorded. The coral community is over- whelmingly dominated by the thin-branched ramose Thamnasteria dendroidea (Lamouroux) that forms aggregations of colonies (77?. dendroidea thickets). Leafy to platy Fungiastrea arachnoides (Parkinson) and Thamnasteria concinna (Goldfuss) occur subordinately, other species are only of minor importance. In a few cases, the reef-core consisting of Th. dendroidea thickets is laterally encrusted by platy F. arachnoides and Th. concinna colonies, and microbial carbonates. This zonation reflects probably a succession of different reef builders as a result of changing environmental conditions (allogenic succession). Moreover, some reefs are overlain by a biostrome made of large Solenopora jurassica nodules passing laterally in a nerinean bed. Mikrobial carbonates promoted reef growth and favoured the preservation of reef organismn in their growth position or in situ. They exhibit a platy, dendroid, or reticulate growth form or occur as downward-facing hemispheroids. According to their microstructure, they consist of a peloidal, clotted, or unstructured fabric (predominately layered and poorly structured thrombolite as well as clotted leiolite) (sensu Schmid, 1996). Abundant endo- and epibiontic organisms (bivalves, gastropods, echinoids, asteroids, ophiuroids, crabs etc) are linked to the reefs. With regard to their guild structure, the reefs represent occurrences at which only a few coral species serve as builder. Moreover, microbial carbonates contribute to both building and binding of the reefs. Additional binder as well as baffler are present, but not abundant. According to the species diversity, the dweller guild comprises by far the highest number of invertebrate taxa. The destroyer guild chiefly encompasses bivalves. The composition of the reef community was influenced by the habitat structure of the Th. dendroidea thickets. Owing to the increase in encrusting organisms and other inhabitants of the thickets, the locational factors changed, since light intensity and hydrodynamic energy level and combined parameters as oxygen supply declined in the crowded habitat. Therefore a characteristic succession of organisms is developed that depends on and responds to changing environmental conditions („community replacement sequence“). The succession allows the differentiation of different stages. It started after the cessation of the polyps with boring organisms and photoautotrophic micro-encrusters (calcareous algae, Lithocodium aggregatum). Following the death of these pioneer organisms, encrusting and adherent organisms (serpulids, „Terebella“ species, bryozoans, foraminifers, thecideidinids, sklerospongid and pharetronid sponges, terebratulids), small mobile organisms (limpets), and microbial induced carbonates developed. The final stage in the community replacement sequence gave rise to small cryptic habitats and organisms that belong to these caves (cryptobionts, coelobites). The habitat conditions especially favoured small non-rigid demosponges (“soft sponges”) that tolerate reduced water circulation. Reef rubble is negligible, so that the reefs are bordered by fossiliferous micritic limestone passing laterally in micritic limestone. Approximately 10% of the study area (outcropping florigemma-Bank) corresponds to reefal deposits whereas the remaining 90% encompass lagoonal inter-reefal deposits. The reef development is a good example for the interaction between reef growth, facies development and sea-level changes. It was initiated by a sea-level rise (transgression) and corresponding decrease in the hydrodynamic energy level. Colonization and reef growth took place on a coarse-grained Substrate composed of oncoids, larger foraminifers and bioclasts. Reef growth took place in a calm marine lagoonal setting. Increasing abundance of spherical coral morphs towards the Northeast (section Kessiehausen, northwestem Süntel Mts) reflects higher turbidity and a facies transition to coral occurrences of the ßorigenuna-Bank Member in the adjacent Deister Mts. The reef growth was neither influenced by stonns nor by input of siliciclastic deposits, and took place in short time - probably in only a thousand years under most probably mesotrophic conditions. The mass appearance of solenoporids and nerineids in the upper part of the ßorigenuna-Bank Member point to enhanced nutrient level as a result of regression. In addition, this scenario of fluctuations in nutrient availability seems to be responsible for the cessation of reef corals. The sea level fall reached its climax in the subaerial exposure and palaeokarst development of the florigemma-Bank. The reef building corals are typical pioneer species. The blade-like, flattened F. amchnoides colonies are characterized by their light porous calcium carbonate skeleton, which is a distinct advantage in soft bottom environment. Thus, they settled on soft bottom exposing the large parts of its surface to the incoming light. On the other hand, in response to their light requirements they were also able to settle shaded canopy structures or reef caves. Th. dendroidea is an opportunistic coral species in very shallow, well illuminated marine environment. Their thin and densely spaced branches led to a very high surface/volume ratio of the colonies that were capable to exploit incoming light due to their small thamasterioid calices characterized by “highly integrated polyps”. In addition, sideward coalescence of branches during colony growth led to a wave-resistant framework and favoured the authochthonous preservation of the reefs. Asexual reproduction by fragmented colonies promoted reef development as Th. dendroidea thickets laterally extend over the sea floor or new reefs have developed from broken fragments of parent colonies. Similar build ups with Th. dendroidea as a dominant or frequent reef building coral species are known from the Paris Basin and elsewhere from the Lower Saxony Basin (Kleiner Deister Mts). These buildups developed in well-illuminated shallow water and encompass coral reefs or coral thrombolite reefs. Intra- and inter-reef deposits vary between well-winnowed reef debris limestone and mudstones representing considerably calmer conditions. Solenoporid, nerineids and diceratides belong to the characteristic fossils of these occurrences. However, diceratides are missing in theflorigemma-Bank Member. Th. dendroidea differs in its colonization of low- to high-energy environment from recent ramose scleractinian corals (e.g., Acropora and Porites sp.). The latter are restricted to agitated water habitats creating coral thickets and carpets. According to the morphologic plasticity of Th. dendroidea, thick-branched colonies developed in a milieu of high water energy, whereas fragile, wide- and thin-branched colonies prevail in low-energy settings. Due to its relatively rapid growth, Th. dendroidea was able to keep pace with increased Sedimentation rates. 68 benthonic foraminiferan species/taxa have been recognized in thin sections. Agglutinated foraminifers (textulariids) predominate when compared with rotaliids and milioliids. Numerous species are restricted to a certain facies type or occur in higher population densities, in particular Everticyclammina sp., a larger agglutinated foraminifer that occurs in rock building amounts. Among the 25 reef dwelling foraminiferal species, a few were so far only known from Late Jurassic sponge reefs. Another striking feature is the frequency of adherent foraminiferal species. Fauna and flora, in particular dasycladaleans and agglutinated foraminifers, document palaeobiogeographic relationships to the Tethys and point to (sub)tropical conditions. Moreover, in Germany this foraminiferan assemblage is yet uncompared. In Southern Germany similar tethyan type assemblages are not present in strata as young as Middle Tithonian.

[EU]Ikerketa honen bidez XXI. Mendeko emakumezkoek sentitzen duten segurtasun-ezaren eragileak zeintzuk diren eta zergatik mantentzen diren jakin nahi da. Segurtasun-ezari buruzko bibliografiarik esanguratsuenaren azterketa egin ondoren, atal teorikoan jaso dira aipagarrienak diren eragile edo faktoreak, ikuspegi makro, meso eta mikro-soziologikoak aplikatuaz. Era berean, atal honen baitan bildu dira fenomenoa generoaren ikuspegitik behatu duten hainbat ikerketen ekarpenak. Atal enpirikoa egikaritzeko, metodologia kualitatiboa erabiliaz sei elkarrizketa egin zaizkie adin desberdinetako sei emakumezkori. Pertsonen hautaketa egiterako orduan bi aldagai hartu dira kontuan: bizilekua (hiri eremua eta herri eremua desberdinduz) eta amatasuna (seme alabak izatea ala ez izatea zehaztuz), parekotasuna bilatu delarik laginaren baitan kolektibo desberdinetako emakumeen esperientziak jaso ahal izateko. Lortutako emaitzak atal teorikoan landutako ikerketekin kontrastatu dira eta amaitzeko, ondorio orokorrei buruzko sintesia egin da etorkizunerako ikuspegiak kontuan hartuz.

Objetivo: Debido a que las Toxiinfecciones alimentarias (TIA) originan daños para la salud, pérdidas económicas y requieren la intervención directa sobre la fuente de contaminación, el objetivo fue realizar un estudio clínico, epidemiológico e higiénico sanitario de un brote de TIA, sin posibilidad de análisis microbiológico. Diseño: Estudio descriptivo y de casos-controles. Emplazamiento: Comunidad de Munera. Albacete (España). Participantes: Población compuesta por las personas asistentes a tres comidas de celebración de comunión. Mediciones Principales: Se realizó una encuesta telefónica epidemiológica y se calcularon odds ratio (OR) crudas y ajustadas con intervalos de confianza al 95 %. Se realizó un modelo de regresión logística multivariante e inspección sanitaria del restaurante. Resultados: Se expusieron 204 personas y fueron encuestadas 62 (32 afectados y 30 sanos). La tasa global de ataque fue de 51,6 % y el periodo de incubación de 33 horas. Los síntomas principales: dolor abdominal, vómitos y diarreas. El tiempo de duración de la enfermedad fue 38 horas. Se observó asociación con la "Ensalada" (OR-cruda: 7,5; IC95: 1,48-37,91), resultando al borde de la significación estadística la relación con "Sepia" (ORc: 4,15; IC95: 1,00-17,18) y "Marisco" (ORc: 4,57; IC95: 0,87-24,08). La OR-ajustada para la "Ensalada" fue 5,41 (IC95: 1,00-29,23). La inspección sanitaria comprobó la existencia de deficiencias de estructura, limpieza, desinfección y formación de manipuladores. Conclusiones: La Ensalada fue el único alimento asociado estadísticamente, pero no podemos descartar la Sepia y Mariscos; mediante la inspección sanitaria y los criterios de Kaplan, es posible clasificarla como una infección por Norovirus. Se aplicaron medidas especiales de funcionamiento en el restaurante para evitar reincidencia del brote.

Questo lavoro è incentrato sull'analisi e la simulazione di un ciclo Rankine a fluido organico (ORC) per la produzione di energia da calore a bassa entalpia. Il lavoro è stato svolto in collaborazione con l'università di Gent, in Belgio, in particolare grazie al Prof. De Peape e all' Ing. Steven Lecompte; il lavoro in Italia è stato coordinato dal Prof. De Pascale. L'obiettivo principale della tesi è stata la creazione un modello computazionale in grado di descrivere le prestazioni dell'impianto a carico parziale. Ogni elemento dell'impianto è stato analizzato e modellizzato secondo un approccio di simulazione originale in Matlab. I componenti ottenuti sono stati poi combinati a formare la simulazione dell'intero sistema; questa è in grado di prevedere la potenza prodotta ed il rendimento del ciclo al variare delle condizioni esterne. I risultati ottenuti dalle simulazioni sono stati poi confrontati con i dati sperimentali raccolti sull'impianto di prova dell'Università. Questo confronto dimostra un buon accordo dei risultati previsti con quelli misurati. L'errore relativo massimo ottenuto per la potenza elettrica è sotto il 7%, così come quello sul rendimento; Gli errori relativi a pressione ed entalpie sono in genere sotto il 5%. Il modello può perciò dirsi validato e rappresenta un valido strumento di analisi per comprendere la risposta ai carichi parziali anche al di fuori del range di calibrazione. Il modello è stato infine utilizzato per costruire delle mappe del carico parziale e analizzare l'influenza delle variabili del ciclo. Ulteriori applicazioni delle mappe prodotte sono proposte a fine del lavoro.

Despite elevated incidence and recurrence rates for Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax (PSP), little is known about its etiology, and the genetics of idiopathic PSP remains unexplored. To identify genetic variants contributing to sporadic PSP risk, we conducted the first PSP genome-wide association study. Two replicate pools of 92 Portuguese PSP cases and of 129 age- and sex-matched controls were allelotyped in triplicate on the Affymetrix Human SNP Array 6.0 arrays. Markers passing quality control were ranked by relative allele score difference between cases and controls (|RASdiff|), by a novel cluster method and by a combined Z-test. 101 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were selected using these three approaches for technical validation by individual genotyping in the discovery dataset. 87 out of 94 successfully tested SNPs were nominally associated in the discovery dataset. Replication of the 87 technically validated SNPs was then carried out in an independent replication dataset of 100 Portuguese cases and 425 controls. The intergenic rs4733649 SNP in chromosome 8 (between LINC00824 and LINC00977) was associated with PSP in the discovery (P = 4.07E-03, ORC[95% CI] = 1.88[1.22–2.89]), replication (P = 1.50E-02, ORC[95% CI] = 1.50[1.08–2.09]) and combined datasets (P = 8.61E-05, ORC[95% CI] = 1.65[1.29–2.13]). This study identified for the first time one genetic risk factor for sporadic PSP, but future studies are warranted to further confirm this finding in other populations and uncover its functional role in PSP pathogenesis.

Ziel der vorliegenden Masterarbeit sind der terminologische sowie inhaltliche Vergleich zwischen den von der italienischen und der deutschen Rechtsordnung vorgesehenen Leistungen bei Arbeitslosigkeit und die daraus hervorgehende Erstellung zweisprachlicher terminologischen Einträge zur Anreicherung der IATE-Datenbank. Die Arbeit ist an ein breites Publikum gerichtet, das RechtsübersetzerInnen, RechtsexpertInnen und DolmetscherInnen sowie auch Studierenden und Interessenten an Rechtsvergleichung umfasst. Die Arbeit ist in vier Kapitel gegliedert. Das erste besteht in einer Einführung in die Rechtssprache(n) und deren wesentliche Merkmale, mit besonderem Bezug auf das Problem der semantischen Äquivalenz; es wird außerdem ein Überblick über die Funktionen der Rechtstexte und die zurzeit verfügbaren Datenbanken der Rechtsterminologie gegeben. Im zweiten Kapitel wird der Fachbereich der Arbeit vorgestellt. Die italienischen und deutschen Sozialleistungen werden hier sowohl auf mikro- als auch auf makrokomparativer Ebene untersucht und es wird auf die jüngsten Arbeitsmarktpolitikreformen in beiden Ländern eingegangen. Das dritte und das vierte Kapitel sind dem praktischen Teil der Arbeit gewidmet. Es werden die einzelnen Schritte zur Erstellung der 216 Termini enthaltenden Datenbank geschildert – von der Zusammenstellung der Korpora aus autoritativen Quellen und der Extraktion der Termini, über die Erstellung der zweisprachigen Begriffssysteme bis hin zur Suche nach äquivalenten Begriffen bzw. Formulierung von Übersetzungsvorschlägen und zur Erarbeitung der terminologischen Einträge.
