根据STANNEX氧化锡电极(以下简称锡电极)的热导率曲线,以平壁导热为模型,建立了锡电极中心轴向温度分布的简化模型。根据锡电极使用的实际情况建立实验炉,测试了锡电极在稳态下的边界温度以及锡电极中心在稳态下的实际温度分布。根据实验所测得的边界条件对锡电极的温度分布作了深入细致的推导。用有限差分法求出了锡电极的轴向温度分布,计算结果跟实际测试温度能较好地吻合。对电极导电的牵引材料的选择有很好的指导意义,同时也为玻璃电熔的散热与功率配置以及电极使用过程中的冷却提供了较好的参考。根据实际温度情况采取相应的冷却措

研究了温度梯度法生长的γ-LiAlO2晶体在1100℃下富Li气氛和空气中退火处理后的表面形貌、表面结构以及吸收光谱。发现γ-LiAlO2晶体的抛光面在1100℃空气中退火后变为粗糙面,X射线衍射(XRD)分析表明此粗糙面为单相的LiAl5O8。而γ-LiAlO2晶体的抛光面在1100℃富Li气氛中处理后几乎没有变化。同时对不同气氛下热处理的γ-LiAlO2晶体进行了光谱分析,确认了晶片中196nm的吸收峰是由Li空位引起的。

High-quality 2at%-doped Yb:CaF2 and Yb,Na:CaF2 single crystals with diameter of 76mm were grown by the temperature gradient technique. For the first time, distribution coefficients (KO) of Yb in the two crystals were determined to be 1.07 and 0.91, respectively, by measuring the Yb concentrations at the growth starting position in the as-grown boules. Absorption and emission spectra of the two different crystals were measured at room temperature. Experimental results show that Na+ ions codoping with Yb3+ as charge compensators make Yb3+ ions in CaF2 lattice to be a quasi-single-center system, and greatly suppress the deoxidization of Yb3+ to Yb2+ (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. kinds of Yb3+- and Na+-codoped CaF2 laser crystal with different Na:Yb ratios of 0, 1.5, and 10 are grown by the temperature gradient technique. Room-temperature absorption, photoluminescence spectra, and fluorescence lifetimes belonging to the transitions between ground state F-2(7/2) and excited state F-2(5/2) of Yb3+ ions in the three crystals are measured to study the effect of Na+. Experimental results show that codoping Na+ ions in different Na:Yb ratios can modulate the spectroscopy and photoluminescence properties of Yb3+ ions in a CaF2 lattice in a large scope. 研究了中子辐照下钛宝石单晶体缺陷的形成及光学性能的变化。对温度梯度法(TGT)生长的钛宝石晶体进行中子辐照。中子能量为1.5MeV,剂量为4.32×10^18 neutrons/cm^2。辐照后194nm吸收峰强度增加,268nm吸收峰强度则降低。荧光谱检测中发现辐照使得420nm荧光峰强度明显降低,荧光峰位置也蓝移至414nm处。分析表明辐照使得钛宝石晶体内形成F^+缺陷,同时Ti^4+离子则转化成Ti^3+离子。辐照后的钛宝石在247C处有热释光TL出现,通过初始上升法计算出其陷阱深度为0.63eV。

研究了中子辐照对蓝宝石(α-Al2O3)单晶体缺陷形成及光学性能的影响,对采用提拉法与温度梯度法生长的蓝宝石晶体进行中子辐照,通过对比辐照前后的吸收及荧光光谱变化,发现辐照使得蓝宝石晶体内形成F、F^+和F2^+色心缺陷,但不同方法生长的晶体样品中色心浓度差异明显。其中提拉法样品的F心浓度要高于温度梯度法样品,而温度梯度法样品中F^+色心浓度要高于提拉法样品。分析表明,这与两种方法生长的晶体中杂质含量差异有关。通过研究辐照后晶体的热致发光谱发现提拉法与温度梯度法生长的蓝宝石晶体分别在145℃与150℃有明

The dark-brown colored 5 at% Yb-doped YAlO3 (Yb:YAP) single crystal was grown successfully by temperature gradient technique (TGT) for the first time. The TGT-grown Yb:YAP crystal with the perovskite structure and excellent crystallization perfection were confirmed by the X-ray diffractions techniques. The dark-brown color of TGT-Yb:YAP crystal turned into the colorless after annealing in the air at 1200 degrees C for 10h. The absorption spectra, LD-excited infrared emission and X-ray excited luminescence spectra of the air-annealed Yb:YAP single crystal were investigated at the room temperature. The results indicate that the TGT-Yb:YAP single crystals can be used for the laser and scintillation applications. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

A V:YAG single crystal was grown by the temperature gradient technique (TGT) with graphite-heating elements. The as-grown crystal has different colorations of light green and yellow brown in different parts. Distribution of vanadium in three samples with different colorations was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. From the absorption spectrum of the yellow-brown part with peaks at 370, 820 and 1320nm, we can deduce that the reducing atmosphere of carbon diffused from the heating elements can increase the concentration of tetrahedral V3+ ions and induce F color centers. All three samples exhibited light-green color after annealing in vacuum or H-2 atmospheres. In the vacuum annealing process, the V3+ ions in tetrahedral positions were enhanced through two methods: one method is the exchanging of octahedral V3+ and tetrahedral Al3+ ions in neighboring sites under thermal excitation, the other is that F color centers were thoroughly eliminated and the escaped free electrons could be captured by V ions with higher valance states to further improve the concentration of tetrahedral V3+ ions. Besides the two mechanisms, the H-2 annealing process greatly improved the V-tetra(3+) ions through the reduction effect of H-2. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Large sized neodymium-doped Y3Al5O12 (Nd:YAG) laser crystals have been grown by temperature gradient technique (TGT) method and compared with Czochralski (Cz) method. The comparison of these two crystal growth methods has been listed. The results showed that the TGT method has many advantages over the Cz method. The concentration distribution of Nd ions in the crystals was determined and the absorption spectra of these crystals have been investigated and compared. The TGT grown highly doped Nd:YAG crystal has a larger absorption FWHM than that of Cz grown Nd:YAG crysral. Highly doped Nd:YAG (similar to 2.8 at. pct) crystals could be obtained by TGT.

用温度梯度法(TGT)生长了大尺寸的Nd:YAG激光晶体,测试了室温下的吸收谱并利用吸收谱研究了Nd离子在YAG晶体中的分布。比较了温度梯度法与提拉法生长晶体的区别。根据热容激光的原理,利用生长的Nd:YAG激光晶体片设计了热容激光器,利用侧面抽运,获得了1200w的激光输出,工作时间为2s,光-光转换效率为30%。

温度梯度法(temperature gradient technique,TGT)生长的Al2O3晶体因石墨发热体在高温时的挥发和原料中过渡性金属离子的存在,在不同部位呈现不同颜色,一般上部为浅红色,尾部为浅黄绿色.将TGT法生长的Al2O3晶体(Ф110×80mm^3)依次经过高温氧化气氛、高温还原气氛脱碳、去色退火实验,即“两步法”退火实验,晶体变成无色、透明.经测试,Al2O3晶体的完整性、光学透过率和光学均匀性均有显著提高.

Transparent gamma-LiAlO2 single crystal has been grown by Temperature Gradient technique. The surface of the wafer annealed in O-2-atmosphere at 1100 degrees C for 70 h became opaque and Li-poor phase (LiAl5O8); while, that annealed in Li-rich atmosphere kept transparent and smooth. The full-width at half maximum value dropped to 30 arcsecs when the wafer was annealed in Li-rich atmosphere. That annealed in O-2-atmosphere increased to 78 arcsec. Compared with absorption spectra, we can conclude that the 196 nm absorption peak was caused by Li vacancies and the 736 nm peak was caused by O vacancies.

本文描述使用温梯法(TGT)生长(1-↑102)方向的白宝石单晶,应用X射线双晶摇摆曲线(XRC)测定了晶体内部的完整性,再利用KOH熔体腐蚀出样品的r面(1-↑102)上的位错蚀坑,借助扫描电子显微镜(SEM)进行观察,发现r面白宝石的位错腐蚀坑呈等腰三角形,并且有台阶状结构,并分析了位错的成因。

本文研究了不同掺Ti^3+浓度对温梯法生长的Ti:Al2O3晶体吸收光谱、荧光光谱和X射线衍射光谱的影响。根据吸收光谱提出了一个色心模型。对比了样品各处420nm荧光谱,发现掺Ti^3+浓度越大,该处荧光强度越弱,同时解释了420肿处荧光峰的起源。对比了样品各处720nm处的荧光谱,发现掺Ti^3+浓度越大,该处荧光强度越强。X射线衍射谱(XRD)表明,衍射峰强度随掺Ti^3+浓度的增大而逐渐增强。
