[ES] In this paper we address the problem of inserting virtual content in a video sequence. The method we propose uses just image information. We perform primitive tracking, camera calibration, real and virtual camera synchronisation and finally rendering to insert the virtual content in the real video sequence. To simplify the calibration step we assume that cameras are mounted on a tripod (which is a common situation in practise). The primitive tracking procedure, which uses lines and circles as primitives, is performed by means of a CART (Classification and Regression Tree). Finally, the virtual and real camera synchronisation and rendering is performed using functions of OpenGL (Open Graphic Library). We have applied the method proposed to sport event scenarios, specifically, soccer matches. In order to illustrate its performance, it has been applied to real HD (High Definition) video sequences. The quality of the proposed method is validated by inserting virtual elements in such HD video sequence.

[EN] We present in this paper a variational approach to accurately estimate simultaneously the velocity field and its derivatives directly from PIV image sequences. Our method differs from other techniques that have been presented in the literature in the fact that the energy minimization used to estimate the particles motion depends on a second order Taylor development of the flow. In this way, we are not only able to compute the motion vector field, but we also obtain an accurate estimation of their derivatives. Hence, we avoid the use of numerical schemes to compute the derivatives from the estimated flow that usually yield to numerical amplification of the inherent uncertainty on the estimated flow. The performance of our approach is illustrated with the estimation of the motion vector field and the vorticity on both synthetic and real PIV datasets.

[EN] In this paper we present a variational technique for the reconstruction of 3D cylindrical surfaces. Roughly speaking by a cylindrical surface we mean a surface that can be parameterized using the projection on a cylinder in terms of two coordinates, representing the displacement and angle in a cylindrical coordinate system respectively. The starting point for our method is a set of different views of a cylindrical surface, as well as a precomputed disparity map estimation between pair of images. The proposed variational technique is based on an energy minimization where we balance on the one hand the regularity of the cylindrical function given by the distance of the surface points to cylinder axis, and on the other hand, the distance between the projection of the surface points on the images and the expected location following the precomputed disparity map estimation between pair of images. One interesting advantage of this approach is that we regularize the 3D surface by means of a bi-dimensio al minimization problem. We show some experimental results for large stereo sequences.

[EN] In this report we study a number of fluid optic flow sequences in the context of the FLUID Specific Targeted Research Project - Contract No 513633 founded by the EEC. The main goal of this report is to analyse the behaviour of classical computer vision optic flow techniques when we deal with fluid sequences. We use the optic flow sequences provided by other partners of the FLUID project.

[EN] In the last years we have developed some methods for 3D reconstruction. First we began with the problem of reconstructing a 3D scene from a stereoscopic pair of images. We developed some methods based on energy functionals which produce dense disparity maps by preserving discontinuities from image boundaries. Then we passed to the problem of reconstructing a 3D scene from multiple views (more than 2). The method for multiple view reconstruction relies on the method for stereoscopic reconstruction. For every pair of consecutive images we estimate a disparity map and then we apply a robust method that searches for good correspondences through the sequence of images. Recently we have proposed several methods for 3D surface regularization. This is a postprocessing step necessary for smoothing the final surface, which could be afected by noise or mismatch correspondences. These regularization methods are interesting because they use the information from the reconstructing process and not only from the 3D surface. We have tackled all these problems from an energy minimization approach. We investigate the associated Euler-Lagrange equation of the energy functional, and we approach the solution of the underlying partial differential equation (PDE) using a gradient descent method.

[ES] Aplicación para dispositivos móviles Android que, ayudada por acelerómetros y giroscopios, da soporte al desarrollo de actividades físicas que necesiten un plan de trabajo basado en repeticiones y rutinas de ejercicios. El App ayuda a contabilizar las repeticiones de cada ejercicio, informando al usuario mediante sonido, para que este pueda mantener un ritmo continuo. El App permite la realización de ejercicios individuales hasta alcanzar un número objetivo de repeticiones o repeticiones libres; o permite la realización de una serie de ejercicios que forman parte de una rutina de ejercicios. Es posible crear rutinas de ejercicios personalizadas, eliminar rutinas o editar rutinas ya existentes (añadiendo o eliminando ejercicios y repeticiones). El reconocimiento de movimientos para la contabilización de repeticiones se realiza usando el valor absoluto del vector de aceleración generado a partir de los datos del acelerómetro del dispositivo. Este método, aunque no permite la precisión de reconocimiento de movimientos que permitiría el modelado tridimensional de la aceleración lineal del dispositivo, permite un reconocimiento menos computacionalmente costoso, ignorando ciertos factores exteriores y sin la necesidad de entrenamiento previo de la aplicación.

In this paper, we analyze the dramatic configuration of the devil in three plays by Agustín Moreto, Los siete durmientes (1651) El más ilustre francés, San Bernardo (1657) y El azote de su patria (1669). The main prospect is not only the study of the stage power of a character with such a wide range of theatrical and artistic possibilities, but also his structural role in the conflict and his decisive influence on the action even when he is not actually present.

La Revista pone en juego un espacio cultural, en el hermoso sentido de que a la cultura, “nada de lo humano le es ajeno", desde lo más sencillo a lo más complejo, desde lo externo a lo más interno como el pensamiento y el sentimiento de los seres humanos. La Revista ha permitido conocer investigaciones sobre la vida cotidiana, las creencias, las costumbres, las producciones con sentido, el pensamiento, las creaciones, de los hombres, siempre conectadas a un entorno y a un tiempo. Espacio en el que cobran luz aspectos de la cultura mendocina que no están en ningún lugar, abordando temáticas que nadie había abordado. De los ochenta trabajos publicados en estos cinco números, el cuarenta por ciento están referidos a hechos artísticos mendocinos, sean individuales o institucionales como: fachadas mendocinas, el muralismo en Mendoza, el mercado del arte en Mendoza, el afiche callejero, la ópera de Cámara de Mendoza, los pioneros de la cerámica mendocina, búsqueda de nuestras raíces musicales, documentos musicales del siglo XIX en nuestra tierra. El digno interpretativo en las obras para canto y piano mendocinas, el Museo provincial de Bellas Artes, Los Establos de Su Majestad, Fernando Lorenzo y Alberto Rodríguez. La música de Carmen de Juan y la dramaturgia de Walter Neira. También, expresiones populares como: El gaucho Cubillos, el estado actual de la cumbia, la Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia, la murga en Mendoza. Todo esto no es encierro en los límites de la propia realidad, es expresión de una preocupación de los investigadores y de la Facultad, de compromiso con lo social y la realidad a la cual nos debemos. Las investigaciones incluidas están referidas a temas de nuestro tiempo, como el problema ambiental, el diseño y el imperativo ecológico, la influencia del desarrollo tecnológico en la creación musical, el color y la comunicación, el póster científico, la ergonomía en la prevención de accidentes laborales, la resistencia en los tiempos del mercado, desafíos de la globalización, el rock argentino como expresión de resistencia, armas para la paz. Otras están vinculadas a las políticas educativas como: Ley Federal de Educación, el currículo, el diseño y la calidad educativa, enfoque cognitivista para la enseñanza inicial de los instrumentos musicales, el Sistema Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología. En todo este recorrido encontramos una conjunción entre la creación y la memoria. Como dice Daniel Prieto Castillo “La memoria y la imaginación son la condición de arte. Fuente aquélla, horizonte ésta, conjunción perfecta, cuando se da. Imposible crear sin ellas". Hoy damos la independencia a Huellas. Ella hablará por sí misma. Ustedes podrán leer, disfrutar, comentar, criticar y valorar. Anhelamos que les transmita también la ganas de investigar y escribir. Los esperamos para el número seis.

In his lessons of the Summer semester of 1921 called “St. Augustin and the Neo-Platonism"; M. Heidegger interprets the Bishop of Hipona from what he calls “the factitive experience of life". This experience would be indissolubly associated to became that turns the human existence historically placed in an ephemeral and transitory unit. Centering in the Book X of Confessiones, Heidegger makes a critic to the Augustinian notion of “memory", narrowly tied to his famous conception on time developed in the Book XIth of the same write. The philosopher from Freiburg affirms that, though Augustin has overcome the merely psychological conceptions about the memory, still he remains confined in the perspective of language of the traditional Metaphysics. This work tries to trace de Neo-Platonic roots of Augustinian thinking, ignored in the analysis of Heidegger, principally regarding Plotinus legacy and of another Platonic Christianized as Mario Victorinus, and to research this way in what measure that interpretation results faithful to the principal Augustinian intuitions.
