Estudo do caso de abandono esportivo na modalidade de basquetebol: Luiz Carlos Pereira Barretto Neto. -

Este trabalho foi baseado em uma revisão de literatura sobre o fenômeno do abandono esportivo que ocorre cada vez mais com grande freqüência no esporte nacional, seja ele de alto rendimento ou não. Com base nesta revisão sobre o assunto foram abordados diversos fatores que podem contribuir para que crianças e adolescentes a abandonem o esporte, foi feita uma analise dos fatores que influenciam as crianças e adolescentes na pratica esportiva e os fatores que são necessários para que os jovens permaneçam no esporte. Foram abordados os temas de desenvolvimento biológico e psicológico de crianças na passagem para a adolescência, a influencia do esporte na sociedade atual, as influencias que o esporte pode causar na vida de crianças e adolescentes e seus benefícios. Também foi feita uma grande abordagem sobre a psicologia do esporte e seus aspectos que interferem na pratica esportiva dos adolescentes, foi discutido como estes fatores podem influenciar positivamente, para que o jovem continue a praticar esporte, e negativamente levando ao abandono esportivo. Por fim foi feito uma analise dos fatores mais comuns encontrados na literatura sobre os principais fatores que desmotivam crianças e adolescentes na pratica esportiva e uma breve explicação na síndrome do burnout. O efeito da modalidade prévia sobre a subseqüente em provas de triatlo: aspectos fisiológicos e biomecânicos

O triatlo é uma modalidade combinada envolvendo outras três modalidades de endurance: natação, ciclismo e corrida, o que torna as necessidades biomecânicas e fisiológicas da modalidade combinada diferente das demandas e adaptações sofridas por treinamentos realizados nas modalidades de forma isolada. A fadiga imposta pela modalidade prévia poderá ser determinante no bom desempenho do atleta nas modalidades subseqüentes e neste sentido é importante analisarmos não apenas a influência do ciclismo sobre a corrida onde existe maior semelhança entre as fibras musculares recrutadas predominantemente, como a influência da natação sobre as demais modalidades. Algumas estratégias podem ser adotadas afim de minimizar a perda de performance que uma modalidade irá exercer sobre a subseqüente relacionadas a especificidade do treinamento e geração de adaptações específicas, estratégias de ritmo de prova, possibilidade de utilização do vácuo durante o percurso de ciclismo e da esteira na natação, utilização de roupas de neoprene na natação e adaptações na geometria do quadro da bicicleta.

A construção da autonomia numa perspectiva piagetiana: contribuições para a Educação Infantil

This paper aims at discussion the construction of autonomy of cognitive development and child morality, according to the Piagetian approach view of the influence of socio-moral classroom in kindergarten. It is known that education is a very important part of participation in relation to the development of autonomy by the child, especially when it comes to kindergarten who becomes responsible for performing the initial encouragement of this ability, respecting the phase cognitive development in which the child is. We focus, therefore, the need for education and teaching activities that enable this construction offering little opportunity to exercise and build their first signs of autonomy. For their achievement, in addition to literature, which has been supported by theoretical studies of Jean Piaget, we chose a field research where we look, from the interview and observation, investigate the socio-moral environment of a room class of a school Kindergarten, highlighting the important opportunities for the exercise of autonomy for the children, amid the routine of the group. The interview was focused on the pursuit of basic knowledge of the educator on the subject, as well as what would be aware of the role of preschool in the process of moral development and about their own role as an educator this mode of education. Since the remark was directed at the teacher's procedures against the encouragement of social and moral ability, focusing mainly on interpersonal relationships in the classroom. Our classroom has proved to be a cooperative environment and therefore we emphasize the importance of the teacher's conduct that permeated the day-to-day classroom and encouraged to start building this skill by the student. A trajetória do projeto Teletandem Brasil: da modalidade institucional não-integrada à institucional integrada

The purpose of this paper is to present the road taken by the Teletandem Brasil Project (Telles, 2006) and describe the modifications that have occurred in relation to the implementation of teletandem activities, which implies changes from a non-integrated modality to an integrated one (Brammerts, 1996). In order to do so, a characterization of the initial context assumed by the project is presented – non-integrated institutional teletandem - in contrast with the new environment fostered by a partnership between UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista) and UGA (University of Georgia). This new partnership has allowed the inclusion of teletandem into the foreign language syllabus, characterizing the institutional integrated teletandem. We also show the activities derived from this new modality.

Terminologia e tradução juramentada: questões de tipologia textual e equivalência terminológica interlinguística Português-francês-italiano

In this study we analyse a body of documents in sworn translation from and to Portuguese in relation to French and Italian. Our objective has been to check the textual typology most requested for sworn translation in these languages and to outline a profile of the terminology recurrent in these types of text. We also present examples of interlinguistic terminological equivalence which become apparent when one translates some of the types of text in our corpus. The data presented here was obtained by the LexTraJu-O lexical project of sworn translation, of which the research is developed in the São José do Rio Preto campus of UNESP with the objective of obtaining resources for the improvement of the Translation Courses of this institution and of making a contribution to translation studies on the theme of sworn translation.

Gênero e diversidade na escola: reflexões acerca da formação continuada sobre assuntos da diversidade sexual

This article aims to discuss reports brought by the teacher the early years of public school in the training course in Gender and Diversity in School (GDS), with regard to the prejudices of gender and sexual diversity. The GDS training course was offered in 2009 and 2010, by the Open University of Brazil (UAB), in cooperation agreement with the Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp). In São Paulo the training centers were distributed in 09 municipalities. The course GDS was inserted in the modality teacher continuing education elementary education from the public schools, in the semipresencial way, and it was divided into five thematic modules: diversity, gender, sexuality and sexual orientation, race / ethnicity. In this article, we present the analysis of the memorials written by / the teacher / participants of the 1st GDE course, polo Jau, in the state of São Paulo, that link the learning which was experienced in the course. Were obtained reports about conflicts arising from the dissonance of personal beliefs and professional responsibilities; involvement of the life’s history of the teacher in his performance in the school (subjectivities); transposition of conceptual errors built out of school, between other aspects. It could be observed that the course has destabilized these teachers with some questions about their certainties. The difficulty in changing and transforming concepts and prejudices about sexual and gender diversity was clarified during the course. The course enabled the educators the contact with contemporary questions, reflect on their attitudes and conceptions of education, which can help to transform their practices in school, providing new perspectives on the issue of sexuality

Educação para a sexualidade na formação de professores na modalidade de ensino a distância: a utilização de um objeto educacional

In inclusive school there are many students and some with disabilities. One of the dimensions of human development of all people's is the sexuality, although there are erroneous beliefs about the relationship sexuality and disability. Teachers must be prepared to deal with the sexuality of their students with disabilities in school, and proposals of education in the form of distance education has been an alternative to the training. This article relate an educational proposal for teachers, linked to a part of the activities undertaken in the discipline "Human Development and Family" on a course of specialization in Special Education in Distance Education mode. Describes an educational object named "Game: challenges and actions in school" , that presented four situations on behaviors involving sexuality of students: question about sexuality, masturbation in the classroom, dating from students and discrimination an obese colleague. In each one, there was potential actions to the teachers choose and, consequently, its unfolding. The choice of actions would lead to the end of a "teacher profile", offering reflections. Teachers reported positive unsolicited comments about the content of the game. It is concluded that the proposal is an important educational tool used in the Virtual Learning Environment that can assist in teacher training courses in sexuality education.

Perfil e avaliação dos participantes de um curso de formação continuada em práticas educacionais inclusivas na modalidade a distância

This article analyses aspects related to a continuing education course about Inclusive and Special Education in the area of Mental Disabilities offered to 20 (twenty) groups of teachers by the Ministry of Education. The Distance Course was offered in different regions of Brazil with a 180 (a hundred and eighty) hours workload. The research included the profi le of the participants, an evaluation of the course by the participants and the analysis of the dropout causes. The aspects of the course under evaluation received a positive evaluation by most of the participants. The most frequent reason for the dropout rates include participants’ limitations in terms of meeting deadlines, personal reasons and diffi culties in using computers. It was concluded that Distance Education seems to be a relevant tool for the acquisition of knowledge about inclusive practice.
