Le progrès technique chez Joan Robinson : un essai de systématisation et de formalisation

This paper deals with Joan Robinson's contributions to the issue of technical progress and her attempts of treating this subject in accordance to the Keynesian theory of employment and income distribution, mainly in the long run. This paper aims to review this aspect of her work and to establish a systematisation and a formalisation of her approach. At the same time the paper exposes the problems she faced - and did not always solve. Looking through her main contributions, the paper concludes that she used different criteria for the classification of innovations and that they depended on the specific situations described by the models in which she used the classification.

Principe de précaution et progrès scientifique

L’objet de cet article est d’examiner les enjeux épistémologiques d’une application généralisée du principe de précaution. En effet, le principe de précaution fait souvent l’objet de critiques de la part de la communauté scientifique qui lui reproche de constituer un frein à la recherche, à l’innovation et au progrès technique. Après avoir identifié les points exacts sur lesquels portent ces critiques, nous tentons ici d’y répondre et de souligner la compatibilité du principe de précaution avec le progrès scientifique.

About the limits of metalanguage: An essay on the modelisation of Latin grammatical lexicography

[EN] Progress in methodology in specific fields is usually very closely linked to the technological progress in other areas of knowledge. This justifies the fact that lexicographical techniques have had to wait for the arrival of the IT era of the last decades of the 20th century in order to be able to create specialised electronic dictionaries which can house and systemise enormous amounts of information which can later be dealt with quickly and efficiently. This study proposes a practical-methodological model which aims to solve the grammatical treatment of adverbs in Ancient Latin. We have suggested a list of 5 types, in a decreasing order from a greater to lesser degree of specialisation; technical (T), semi-technical (S-T), instrumental-valued (I-V), instrumental- descriptive (I-D), instrumental-expository (I-E).
