ALTERNATION ON LEXICAL ITEMS OF THE BRASILDEUTSCH

Nowadays, studies about the Brasildeutsch still bring into question a lot of controversial discussions concerning to the use of German-speaking in inter-ethnic communities. In our country, mostly in the south, but especially in the community of Marechal Cândido Rondon, Paraná, we still have, in the dialogues of German immigrant speakers and their descendents, the use of Brasildeutsch lexicon-phonemics neologisms, which appears in verbal interactions of lexical alternations by means of German formal speaking juxtaposition with regional/local dialects of the mother tongue and the Brazilian-Portuguese speaking. In this way, we aim to discuss the Brasildeutsch term and the use of lexical items on musical instruments in the situations of verbal interactions of these German immigrants.

THE FORMULATION "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" IN THE JOURNALISTIC DISCOURSE IN SINOP-MT

This article is part of the activities carried out in the research and extension Project ‘Webbing of a discursivity in the Northern MatoGrosso region in Legal Amazon: contexts and possibilities of development with sustainability’. The goal of this research is to understand the discursivity put in the Northern MatoGrosso region inserted in Legal Amazon in the formulation ‘sustainable development’ through the theoretical postulations of the French line Discourse Analyses. In this article we analyse two pieces of News diffused in the printed media in Sinop, aiming to verify how the theme sustainable development is presented according to linguistic enunciations by the journalistic proposer in the journalistic discourse. We search to understand the different meaning effects that are found in the dialogues. Among the analyzed results that we evident in the formulations we can highlight dislocation, incompletions and polemics between the environmentalistis’ and developmentists’ discourses, confronted in ideological socio-economical opposition that happens fundamentally because of the work organizations and the current political systems.

Advertising to children in Brazilian families: a critical discourse analysis of reception

This article aims to contribute to the understanding of the reception of advertising to children in Brazilian families. The topic of children's advertising has gained importance in recent years because of the civil movements for regulation by-law of advertising to children in Brazil. In view of the various interests at stake, the matter has been the subject of discussion and controversy. Therefore the objective of this paper is to cooperate to the debate, in order to understand the reception of children's advertising in family dynamics. We chose here the focus in the perspective of mothers and fathers. Four semi-structured interviews for the mothers and fathers of children aged between six and 10 years, conducted in two schools in the Distrito Federal, were analyzed. The category ‘appraisal’ was considered for analysis of positions, behaviors and feelings present in the discourse of the parents. The reflections were guided on Critical Discourse Analysis and reveal that advertising to children has been responsible for a determinate disharmony in the family environment, while at the same time strengthen traditional roles of social actors.

A ENUNCIAÇÃO E AS FRONTEIRAS GUARDADAS POR BAKHTIN, BENVENISTE, POSSENTI E GUIMARÃES

O conceito de enunciado já evocou grande polêmica no decorrer do último século. Alguns estudiosos, como Saussure (1974), tomaram a decisão de não abarcá-lo em toda a sua complexidade, focando suas atenções nos aspectos formais da língua. Outros (Bakhtin, 1974, por exemplo) aceitaram o desafio e promoveram um conceito de enunciado que valoriza suas características composicionais e a extensão do seu volume – o discurso. A construção de uma disciplina com foco no enunciado permitiu, portanto, o aparecimento de visões críticas e polêmicas sobre o tema. Diferentes perspectivas foram concebidas e, como conseqüência, abordagens contrastivas para o seu estudo, desenvolvidas. Este artigo é uma tentativa de estabelecer alguns parâmetros de análise entre quatro diferentes perspectivas desenvolvidas pelos seguintes autores: Benveniste (1989), Bakhtin (1992), Possenti (1993) e Guimarães (2002). Além disso, propomos uma análise crítica das fronteiras do enunciado, procurando estabelecer os pontos de contato e as distinções que tais concepções assumiram no processo de conceituar o enunciado.
