 RESUMEN: Al subvertir los espacios que fundan y modelan los valores del machismo en la comunidad latina de la Costa Este de los Estados Unidos, la instalación En la barbería no se llora (1994) de Pepón Osorio convoca una inquietante hibridación cultural ocupada en evaluar las contradicciones y ambivalencias del machismo y las categorías de género dentro de la experiencia migrante “nuyorrican”. Se trata de una política de representación kitsch, femenina y alegórica capaz de interrogar, sin duda, el estado del arte en su diálogo con la política y el mercado a la hora de repensar la construcción identitaria de los grupos minoritarios dentro de la metrópolis estadounidense. A partir de este complejo trazado, el artículo examina las contradicciones irresueltas que exhiben los objetos estéticos y culturales en su funcionamiento social, en sus articulaciones y cruces locales y globales, sin olvidar sus delimitaciones recíprocas con las relaciones del poder cultural ―de dominación y subordinación― desde las variadas esferas públicas en juego. Considerando os fluxos migratórios mundiais contemporâneos, objetivamos destacar o aprendizado da língua(s) estrangeira(s) do local de destino de um migrante internacional como parte importante no processo desenvolvimento individual e de participação social. A problemática gira em torno da falta de ações de ensino de línguas, especificamente voltadas a estrangeiros estabelecidos no sudoeste do Paraná - Brasil. A produção de dados, a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas, aplicadas a grupos distintos, permitiu-nos realizar análise de cunho qualitativo-interpretativo e comparativo. As falas de emigrantes temporários (brasileiros participantes de programas de mobilidade estudantil internacional - MEI) e de imigrantes estrangeiros estabelecidos no Brasil mostram contrastes existentes entre os dois grupos e indicam a importância de ações favoráveis à acolhida de imigrantes, que chegam ao Brasil, pelo ensino de português como uma língua adicional. http://dx.doi.org/10.5935/1981-4755.20170027

This article has a purpose to study the interspeech on discourse about letter of country music. Since the beginning, we emphasize that, although there is interdependence between letter and melody, according Tatit (1996), we will privilege the discourse about letter. It is grounded by the contribution methodological - theorist of speech analysis, more specifically about the postulate enunciation-discursive from Maingueneau (2008), we start from presupposition about the interspeech, which has a strait relation with the discursive memory, shows features about the enunciator identity. Like object focus of analysis, we select the letter named Ferreirinha, who is considered a classical to be one of the most remembered and known by the people. It was made at the 50´s decade, this speech has a very strong representation, mainly at the Midwest and Southeast region from Brazil, they´re considered the crib of the culture from the hayseed man. The result shows us that the interspeech includes discourses that compound the discursive memory from rural migrant, showing their discursive identity.

It serves as the object of analysis of this article the representation of the northeastern migrant in the figure of the male character Francisco da Silva, protagonist of the short story "Liberdade", by Ruth Laus, as a fictional character who lives "in an interrogatory, interstitial space between the act of representation [...] and the presence of community itself" (Bhabha, 1998, p. 22) where he comes to enter and to settle. Chico, as he is known, embarks on a crowded truck, and his fate, like that of many other migrants, is the Southeast region of Brazil, where, between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, he chooses the sea. To the same extent, beyond the concept(s) of culture(s), and the need to (re)think the concept of [cultural] human community - here adding the cultural term to the proposal of Bhabha (1998), as a way of thinking about the role of the individual - are taken and analyzed, also, the cultural identity concepts based on the difference itself. It is thought in what way, then, and through what imposing character, the wealth and the values ​​of the Northeast, although managed to be spread on national home soil, yet not are conspicuous by their guarantee of permanence of its inhabitants in their homeland.
