Deepening the knowledge from the historical Gymnastics during his education is extremely important for professional performance in Physical Education, as this knowledge can serve as a tool for the current configuration of the Gymnastics. Thus, this study presents a review of the literature that you want the frontline of the importance of historical knowledge Gymnastics during his education, is looking ahead to fetch reflect the current format of the same from an informed historically built as it is from the preservation of the knowledge that will be legitimized new avenues for the development of Gymnastics.

Implicações de um programa de formação continuada na formação e atuação de professores de educação física atuantes no ciclo I

This work focused on research a course of continuing education for teachers of Physical Education, offered in a city of São Paulo in 2013. Adopting as a benchmark analysis of models of continuing education in teaching, investigative question that guided this study was: what are the implications of this formative process in the formation and performance of the participating teachers?. With this guiding question, four were the objectives we seek to respond to this analysis: first identify the profile of teachers as well as the participation and involvement of the same course developed; 2 map and analyze the manifestations of teachers throughout the course; 3 reflect on the role of teachers in relation to approaches and/or distances with the common physical education curriculum proposed by the municipality; 4 identify and analyze the reflections on the course conducted. The methodological approach was qualitative and eighteen participants were teachers of a school system in a city of São Paulo, active in cycle I (1 to 5 years) of primary school. Data collection was carried out in two phases, with the participants in the first stage seventeen teachers and three teachers in the second stage that in addition to acting in the cycle I also actively participated in the course. Data were obtained in phase one using a diagnostic interview recorded on voice recorder and transcripts of observations and recorded in video and voice recorder from sixteen meetings of the continuing education course conducted in 2013 and phase two included the observation of classes teachers in the 2nd half of 2013, ending with a final interview. A produção do conhecimento na área do lazer: uma análise sobre as temáticas formação e atuação profissional nos Anais do Enarel de 1997 a 2006

The present study’s aim was to check the academic-scientific productions conveyed in the several versions of the National Meeting on Recreation and Leisure (Enarel) to find out what courses have been taken within the studies on leisure regarding professional education and performance. Through literature review, the study adopted a qualitative methodology and its method was an exploratory study of the period ranging from 1997 to 2006. One hundred and thirty six works (oral communications or free subjects) were analyzed in a quali-quantitative approach. Results show that 50% of the works were produced collectively; as to the institutions, 77.02% of them were linked to academic institutions; regarding methodology, it was found that 58% explicitly presented the kind of research performed, and the most used methods were the “comparative studies”, with 26.11%, followed by “case studies”, with 14.17%.

Da formação acadêmica à atuação em educação física adaptada: a preparação do profissional de educação física para o contexto inclusivo escolar

This study examines the knowledge of the physical education teacher’s relation with inclusion of handicapped people in their classes. Thus, data were collected through a semi-structured questionnaire administered in 23 teachers of Physical Education. The main difficulties to the implementation of inclusion concerned basically to the lack of applied knowledge. As suggestions, were highlighted: the need for guidance by a multidisciplinary team; continuing education; upgrades in infrastructure and appropriate teaching resources; previous experience of teaching students with disabilities were also related. The data allowed the identification of elements needed to accomplish the inclusive educational physical education purpose and the need of professional prepare to attend the inclusive quests.
