O ensino de Filosofia no Brasil: história e perspectivas para o filosofar

The following article has as the main concern and tendency to think and offer some ideas on the Teaching of Philosophy in Brazil and historically conceptions constructed about the philosophy, this constituting itself a challenge to Brazilian education and the formation of people. It is pertinent to the conciliation in the Teaching of Philosophy, from the History of Philosophy, the philosophize and not to join immediately to philosophical systems and their conceptions, but that is structured from the real problems of each situation and experienced in education space and society in general as an macrostructure that requires reflection about your problems. Note that, during the 500 years of education in Brazil, especially in this aspect of Teaching Philosophy characteristics with respect to the concerns and the philosophical problems have been modified, initially, a more obedient to the rules, passing, sometime later, the valorization of polemic and, finally, the systematization of reality and reflection of the real problems faced by a society such as the Brazilian. In this sense, it is proposed to understand and analyze the Teaching of Philosophy in both, the primary and secondary education and, especially, in the university.

The objective of this article is to present an abbreviation analysis and interpretation of the path of the medium teaching in Brazil, from where the idea of the relationship emerges between education and work, among theory and practice, and its organization in the molds of the polytechnical education, this last one that had guided the preliminary proposal for the medium teaching presented by Dermeval Saviani, in 1988. The objective of this article was to argue how to use images (as films, photos and paintings) and lyrics of musics (as rap) to teach History of the African and Afro- Brazilian culture in classroom. Demonstrating how the procedures had been worked in classroom, at Municipal School of Basic Education (EMEF) “Maria Pavanatti Favaro”, located in Campinas City, in the State of São Paulo-Brazil, and the results that had been reached with the use of those resources.

This article analyses the constitutions of the Philosophy of Education’s field in Brazil, from 1990 to the present day, with the purpose of analyzing the genealogy of his “crisis” as a discipline, discussing the dilemmas of its development and to indicate their main challenges today. For such purposes, by means of a genealogical method, we analyze the conceptions of philosophy of education drawn from the theoretical perspective, as well as rebuild historically the clashes caused about certain topics and, particularly, about the human formation. We conclude that the thematic shifts produced and the proliferation of those perspectives were responsible for producing lands to the dialogue between them, however, this strategy does not alleviate some problems of Philosophy of Education in Brazil, demonstrating the presence of two philosophical traditions in the current debate and demanding position of those who work in this field of research and teaching in relation to them.

There is little scholarly research on the history, teaching and research of human anatomy in Brazil. A broader vision of the progress of anatomy under different circumstances in the country is virtually non-existent, leaving researchers keen to study the subject insecure. This is compounded by the fact that the data available are not always reliable. This text retraces the development of the discipline of anatomy and its research and education in Brazil in general and São Paulo state in particular, which can largely be reduced to the action of the self-proclaimed Boverian school of anatomy, founded by Italian physician Alfonso Bovero at the same time as the Medical Faculty of the University of São Paulo.

Today statistics are one of the most important bases of the engineer formation. Statistics are used indirectly every day for engineers in a large panel of sectors like construction, mechanical engineering, biological engineering, electrical engineering, computer science etc. The main goal of this report is to compare different ways the engineers of tomorrow are formed in order to show which engineering is the best practice. The comparison will be done on different universities in France, Brazil and the US on Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Production branches. O ensino de oncologia em enfermagem: um panorama do Brasil, Estados Unidos e outros países

The incidence of neoplasias has increased worldwide every year, and the training of qualified nurses for quality care provision to oncologic patients is necessary. This study aimed at identifying, in the literature, how oncology has been taught in the curricula of several undergraduate nursing programs in Brazil, the United States and other countries. The articles were located on Internet-based databases, namwly Lilacs and Scopus, from which 35 publications were found, and 18 articles were included. In Brazil, oncology is taught in undergraduate nursing programs in an isolated and punctual fashion, and it is not included in curricula. Parallelly, in the other countries included in the study, similarity was found as to this aspect; however, there is evidence of the implantation of elective and extracurricular courses. It is noteworthy that, in Brazil, there is evidence of government policies for oncology teaching and cancer control; nevertheless, such guidelines have not been concretized in curricula. The study showed a scenario in which oncology teaching in undergraduate nursing programs is insufficient or inexistent both in Brazil and in other countries, which compromises the training of future qualified professionals that will be attentive to that theme, since cancer is a frequent pathology, and the presence of nurses is fundamental for the care of such patients from diagnosis to cure, or even during occasional death
