This paper deals with characteristically anti-authoritarian aspects of Antônio Carlos de Brito’s work, alias Cacaso (1944-1987). It aims to provide evidence on his peculiar poetry writing exercise, which incorporates political and aesthetic tensions into its own language, rather than just refer to them. By anchoring in a poetics of everyday life and by being engaged in a dialogue with Brazilian literary tradition, Cacaso manages image, tone and emotion in order to instantly illuminate the impasses of his generation.

We aim with this article to analyze the poetics of love in The Romance of the Rose. We think that Guillaume de Lorris’s conception of love is associated with the flourishing of the French courtly society of the XIII Century, and that Jean de Meun’s conception of love is a result of the decline of this same society. Behind the virtues offered by Guillaume to the medieval lover we find the notion of courtesy, of the art of living in society, the understanding of the poetry as a form of ethics, and the medieval poetic of desire – intimately associated with the religious mysticism appeared from the XI Century and with the troubadours’ poetry. Jean is more influenced by the Ovidian tradition of thinking about the causes and effects of love. In the first part of the poem, Guillaume idealizes the conquest of the Rose; in the second, Jean describes the cueillette of the Rose, which could be read as a rape, in an allegorical way. It is this tension between different conceptions of love in a same poem that makes possible a better comprehension of the ways people used to think and feel in the Middle Ages.

The language in the contemporaneous, for treating from essential factor to the communication and artistic expression, mainly starting from the intense expansion of the industrial techniques, it’s makes way for a considerable reflection: the stylistic relationship among the industrial object, the craft and the properly artistic work (DORFLES, 1988). The aesthetics, as inherent factor and mediator the all these subjects, is capable to establish similarities between the design concept and the contemporary art. Starting from this panorama an interpretative analysis is delineated on the function aesthetics/poetics (JAKOBSON, R. 1995; MUKAROVSKY, J. 1993) in the language of the design, under the optical of the contemporary thought in order to provide a contribution of updating of the present delimitation context between the art and the design in the extent of the aesthetics.

The present work is an investigation into the possibilities of development of drawing in the contemporaneity and the detachment which certain poetic art could have to the point of absorbing more than one language in the materialization of the idea as it meets the development of the individual approach from the producer's work. This reading is sought in the work of the filmmaker Wim Wenders, more specifically in his film "Until the End of the World" and the way it presents the images are due to the proximity of different artistic languages. While cropping, framing are part of the procedures present in the artist's creative process to meet the needs of its poetics.
