This research objective was to verify the tissues reactions obtained, in surgical experimental bone defect, after the etil cyanoacrylate chemical adhesive application in rats parietal bones. 1t was investigated the acceptance or no acceptance of the tissues surround the bone defect in which was placed the etil cyanoacrylate and the control bone defect. The specimens were submitted to light microscopic analysis. 24 adults rats were used (Rattus norvergicus, albinus, Wistar) with the average weight to 300 gr. and were divided in two groups: treated and control. After the bone defects were realized, etil cyanoacrylate was placed over one of the defects at the parietal bone (treated group). On the other defect nothing was placed and it was used like control group. After 24 hours, 3,5,7,30 and sixty days after surgery, for animals of each group were sacrificed. The bone samples were removed and fixed in 10% formalin during 72 hours and analyzed using light microscopy. The results showed that the acute inflammatory responses was more observed at lhe treated group than the control group. The chemical adhesive was observed until 60 days follow the surgery and the tissues around it present normal appearance. The chemical adhesive, etil cyanaocrylate, did not impede at the bone repair process

No momento em que Grócio publica suas teorias sobre o direito natural, o teatro tematizava diversos assuntos abordados no Direito da guerra e da paz. Na Espanha, Lope de Vega defendia o tiranicídio em peças como Fuenteovejuna e Peribãnez ou O comendador de Ocanã, enquanto Grócio limitava o direito de resistência aos casos de ameaça de morte. Cervantes via na iniciativa de Lope de Vega uma perigosa concessão política ao vulgo, implicando a ocultação da técnica empregada por atores e dramaturgos, e a consequente exacerbação do apelo emocional do teatro. Grócio, por sua vez, demanda que o direito se expresse em linguagem racional, na medida em que a lei só se afirma como sanção coletiva – ao passo que o sentimento se encerra na interioridade.

The worry to assess the information Literacy is growing up on literature, which points out the need to verify the effectiveness of information literacy programs. In Brazil, the movement to de actions to assess is turn to the diagnostic line. There are few specific initiatives to assess the development of the programs, called formative assessment. Researchers of the area of education defend assess like a social practical that requires rigor and methods and confirmed that this can‟t be considered just like a measure. Before these aspects, approach to methods and tools for formative assessment of information literacy, the way in the instruments don‟t to be seeing like principal pieces in assess, but like auxiliary tools for the measurement of results and principal as school guiding that are useful for learning.

Uso da calculadora nas aulas de Matemática: possibilidades e percepção de licenciandos e professores

The objective of this work is to analyze teaching situations with the use of calculator inside classroom aiming to understand its function and potential to the learning of Mathematics. A survey was carried out about the students and teachers’ conceptions concerning the use of calculator as an auxiliary tool in the learning of Math . The first part of the research is based by means of official documents (Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN) , Proposta Curricular do Estado de São Paulo, Guia do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD)) , researches and other publications , characterizing by a bibliographic study. The survey with the participants— Math students and teachers acting in public or private schools of São Paulo state— was done through a questionnaire and interviews . The results show that most part of interviewed people are in favor of the use of calculator in the classroom . However , a big part of this number still consider it only as a tool to speed calculations with high numbers or decimals . It was verified that teachers who have recently graduated and have taught for a short period of time accept and comprehend the role of calculator more easily in some activities and consider it as an useful and auxiliary tool to the students’ learning

Análise das resistências de embutimento e de compressão para madeiras de pinus e eucalipto

The connections in the wood structures are the places with high concentrations of stresses and therefore are more fragile than the rest of the structure. The connections between pieces of wood can be made by metal pins (nails or screws). The compression and embedment strength has significant influence on the calculation of the connections. The main aim of this work was to evaluate the compression and embedment strength in the directions parallel, inclined at 45° and normal to the grain, using standard specimens according to ABNT NBR 7190/1997 standard. The compression and embedment strength were initially evaluated according to ABNT NBR 7190/1997, which admits the deformation of 2‰ as limit of embedment and the ratio between the ultimate strength and the area of application of load in the specimen for the compressive strength. Afterward, the embedment strength was evaluated by the EUROCEDE 5 /1995 European standard, which use the limit of 5 mm of the displacement for the embedment. Specimens of Pinus oocarpa, Cumaru and Pinus taeda were used in tests to calibration of equipment and specimens of Pinus taeda and Eucalipto citriodora were used to compare the results of strength. The results of strength were evaluated based on statistical analysis. The results of compressive strength for the Pinus taeda showed no significant differences in embedment strength in the directions parallel and normal to the grain. For the Eucalipto citriodora only in the direction parallel to grain the compression strength was not significant compared with the embedment strength. For both species, only the parallel compression strength and inclined at 45o to the grain, which were to the grain, which were admitted the strain of 2‰ were not significantly different compared with the compression strength determined according to ABNT NBR 7190/1997. Fresamento de madeiras de média densidade: MDF

The technological expansion and market manufactured wood as wood paneling makes the research of processes involving this material are increasingly necessary . The present study examines the milling process MDF - fiberboard with average density endmill with helical teeth , with the analysis of the surface finish by evaluating the surface roughness ( Ra) and analysis of the power consumption . We analyzed three types of cuts in milling : concordant , discordant , and cut top . We used 5 rpm (6000 , 8000 , 10000 , 12000 and 14000 RPM) , establishing five-speed cutting, 301 , 402 ,502, 603 and 703 m / min respectively. Five forward speeds and 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 m / min. Each condition was repeated six times , totaling 180 tests. The results of roughness were obtained from rugosimeter data and the power consumption were obtained by Hall-effect sensor . These results were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and Tukey test . Finally it was concluded that there are few significant differences between the results themselves vary roughness when cutting speeds and feed and no major differences in power consumption . The best surface quality and lower power consumption were for cutting speed of 703 m / min . To varying forward speed , the speed of 4 m / min showed better surface quality and lower power consumption

With the purpose of provide students with the practical contact with the operation of a thermoelectric plant, the steam plant Laboratory College of Engineering Guaratinguetá was restored, this work was undertaken so that the necessary equipment was specified for this steam plant had their instrumented processes, enabling greater precision of the measurements performed in the tests and also storing your information. The instrumentation of the plant is to approximate the practices carried out in the laboratory with real situations encountered in industrial steam plant, thus collaborating with the most comprehensive training of students and ensuring the safety of operations performed in the laboratory
