This research investigated the perceptions and the meanings for the trainees of Physical Education regarding the indiscipline in the school. The methodology used was from qualitative nature, having as participants 16 students of a public course of Physical Education. The indiscipline was pointed by the trainees while a present problem in their practices and connected to different difficulties. Therefore, as methodological procedures more mentioned, appeared the blackmail, the agreements and the dialogue, being the school institution, outstanding while informative of the rules, of the rights and of the students' duties.

The dance installs in the body another scene of senses that raises the creative performance and not that can be speculated about it. There, "who dance" is the Other one, making the body acting of another manner, beyond the systemic contour of Ego. Without the presence of this forged performance, the body would not pass of one ruled machine in function of something and not in favor of himself, as original movement of himself. This article intends to make a reflection about the corporal perception in the dance, trying to point out the creative performance. So, we opened a way to understand the process creative as field of corporal sensitization where the educative intervention is accomplished in the body.

The media through images, sounds and information influences the way students interpret reality. This way, there is the need for the school to reflect on these issues and create teaching strategies to take advantage of this apparatus. The objective of this research was to analyze some possibilities of a proposal that addressed the content body culture through reports published by the newspaper Folha de São Paulo in Physical Education classes. The data indicated the media as a good teaching resource for classes of this course, since the students considered enriching classes for learning.

This investigation addresses the possibility of teaching themes related to environmental issues in Physical Education. We identified and classified such issues as: administrative and economic, aesthetic and philosophical, virtual, historical and geographical, sociological and political, physical and natural. Then, we discussed how the specific dynamics of culture, movement, and environment raises certain questions about each theme's relevance and its repercussions on teachers' professionalism. We believe that in the context of the daily intervention there are perspectives for both adaptation and transformation that might be further developed during classes in collaboration with the students.

When it comes to teaching physics in the early years of elementary school, the first question is: but there are opportunities to teach concepts to children of such complexity? This study sought to examine approaches and strategies to enter the Basic Education in Physics. To this end, we used low cost materials testing, taking as its starting point the work of Ferreira (1978) instrumentation for Teaching Physics, particularly with the theme electrostatics. The present study was made from the use of prototypes developed with the materials cited. Observations were made in the classroom looking for, from the records of teaching, analyzing the behavior of children and their arguments, possibilities for Physics Teaching this age group as well as some evidence of their cognitive development. In teaching discussions were held with students of the early years of elementary school involving conceptual and phenomenological aspects, adapting such knowledge at the level of logical and mathematical thinking that was still under development. The work shows that it is possible to work on electrostatic physical concepts with children belonging to the age group of nine to ten years. With the support of the group Pibid Physics city of Rio Claro, I realize my observations and practices at the Municipal School Marcelo Schmidt, which proved to be available and open for acceptance of this proposal

The present study has as its main purpose the investigation of teachers'view concerning the teaching and learning of basketball in Physical Education classes in a school setting. The selected teachers who participated in this survey come from public and private institutions in the city of Volta Redonda, RJ, Brazil, teaching 6th-9th grade classes of elementary school. This was a quantitative and qualitative study with content analysis. Data collection included interviewing 60 teachers who provided their opinions on the issue investigated. Development of basketball was investigated not only as a content for the Physical Education classes, but also as a dimension that goes beyond school boundaries, where that sport plays an important role in society. Joint actions to provide the opportunity for basketball to grow as a content for Physical Education classes may represent a way to describe its implementation in all contexts, although the importance of this discipline in the school setting should not be disregarded in favor of obtaining results in sports competitions.

This article examines philosophical and anthropological underpinnings of the Sich-Bewegen Theory, based on the phenomenological philosophy by Merleau-Ponty and social anthropology by Mauss and Geertz. It also considers implications for Physical Education Elementary and High School curricula aimed at forming emancipated, autonomous and critical individuals, taking the Physical Education Curriculum of the State of Sao Paulo as example. It concludes that the curriculum needs to imbricate into students'social life and take into account the challenges and issues from contemporary society.

This monograph has the inspiring theme of the Energy education, concept of extreme importance to physics, but that is rarely addressed in Brazilian schools. We bring a discussion of the problems faced in teaching this subject and present this analysis of how this issue is addressed in some textbooks that are part of the material available to students of basic education in our country. We also discuss a didactic proposal to the Physics Teaching using for this experiment. The proposal considers the student protagonist of the learning process being the builder of his own knowledge. For this proposal selected three experiments (solar plate, looping and looping coffee cups) analyzed from the point of view of energy that have the intention to leave this clearer content and close to the students. No presente artigo abordou-se o processo de profissionalização e formação acadêmica em Educação Física, buscando evidenciar as implicações surgidas em decorrência da trajetória de formação do professor dessa área. Embora esta se configure também como uma profissão docente, sua história apresenta particularidades com relação às outras áreas da docência escolar. Diante disto, o objetivo do estudo consistiu em estabelecer um diálogo entre as dimensões da profissionalização e da formação de professores de Educação Física para auxiliar na compreensão da situação atual da disciplina e do processo de construção da profissionalidade docente. Em articulação com a revisão da literatura foram discutidas as concepções de um grupo representativo de professores de Educação Física escolar da rede pública de ensino estadual de São Paulo - Brasil, coletadas por intermédio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Constatou-se que para os depoentes persistem, ainda, equívocos no imaginário da comunidade escolar a respeito do valor e da função da disciplina Educação Física para o desenvolvimento do alunado, sendo a disciplina freqüentemente indicada como sinônimo de esporte. Entende-se que a compreensão da trajetória dessa profissão até o momento (que pode ser considerada uma profissão recente), assim como os fatores que contribuíram para a desvalorização do professor da área, são importantes recursos para começar a pensar o futuro. Concluiu-se que cabe, especialmente, à formação docente constituir-se num componente que efetivamente contribua para a (re)construção da profissionalidade do professor e para a legitimação da disciplina Educação Física no campo educacional.

O objetivo desta pesquisa é realizar, uma avaliação crítica de algumas das proposições teórico-metodológicas para a Educação Física Escolar elaboradas no Brasil nas décadas de 1980 e 1990, a partir do ponto de vista de seus autores. Para tal, foram entrevistados seis autores. Conclui que tais proposições continuam sendo importantes na formação dos professores, mas precisam ser articuladas com novos conhecimentos e se aproximarem das práticas pedagógicas concretas.

Trata das relações entre Educação Física, cultura e sociedade, valendo-se do conceito de cultura corporal de movimento. Considera as mídias como importe elemento dinamizador da cultura contemporânea, e aponta a necessidade de atualização da Educação Física diante dos fenômenos culturais.
