Utveckling av en mobiltelefontjänst för att spela in TV-program på din dator från distans

Denna rapport är resultatet av kursen Examensarbete i Informatik på Högskolan Dalarna. Examensarbetet är uppdelat i två delar. Ena delen har som syfte att ge en förstagångsanvändare en introduktion i Mobile.NET. Här beskrivs även vissa skillnader mot traditionell ASP. Andra delen, som uppfyller målet har varit att utveckla en tjänst som gör det möjligt att spela in tv-program på en dator från olika mobila enheter samt pc. Det arbete som föranlett rapporten har bestått av en egenhändigt framtagen metod som hämtat inspiration från Direct-modellen samt Polyas generella metod.Slutsatserna som framkommit är att det idag inte finns tillräckligt bra wap-tjänster som lockar allmänheten att wappa. Mobiltelefonen kommer till sin fulla rätt som en förlängd fjärr-kontroll, som kan integrera människan med hemmet på långa avstånd. För att utvecklingen av wap-tjänster ska ta fart krävs högre prestanda och nya idéer om tjänster. En tanke är att fler tjänster och nya idéer kommer ta fart nu när Microsoft släppt sitt utvecklingsverktyg Mobile Internet Toolkit. Nu behöver utvecklaren inte göra en tillämpning för varje mobilenhet. Kanske kommer denna rapport väcka en ny tanke om vad wap-tjänster kan göra.

Att vara sig själv i TV : En studie om heteronormativitet och könsroller i dagens svenska homestylingprogram

Heteronormativiteten är den norm som är starkast i vårt svenska samhälle och omedvetenheten kring den är stor bland gemene man. Problematiken med att låta dessa normer styra i det dolda kan medföra att de som inte platsar in drabbas av utanförskap. Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka om fyra svenska homestylingprogram bekräftar eller avviker från heteronormativiteten, hur de gör det och om det är någon skillnad mellan dessa program. Undersökningen har utförts genom att använda diskursanalys enligt Michel Foucaults beskrivning av detta samt genom inspiration från Eva Bolanders dissertation (2009) om hennes analys av sexualupplysningsprogram. Vår analys redovisas under fem teman och varje program ställs upp var för sig. Analysen visar att dessa fyra program både avviker och bekräftar heteronormerna. När det gäller yrken och arbetsuppgifter och utseende visar vår analys att de fyra homestylingprogrammen bekräftar heteronormativiteten i mycket hög grad men när det gäller jargong, sexuella läggningar samt utförande av uppgifterna avviker programmen till ganska stor del eftersom de inte följer det typiskt heteronormativa kännetecknen i särskilt hög grad. En jämförelse mellan dessa fyra program visar att TV4:s program Äntligen hemma var det program som mest bekräftade heteronormerna och att de andra tre var svåra att rangordna eftersom de alla avvek från normerna men på skilda sätt.

Direção espiritual na TV canção nova: análise do discurso do Padre Fábio de Melo

The aim of the research is to analyze Direção Espiritual a TV program produced by Catholic Church and presented by Canção Nova Channel. The program is presented by Father Fábio de Melo, a catholic priest that also is a famous religious singer and writer. The analyses included not only some TV programs, but also interviews with some of the viewers and Fabio de Melo himself. The results points out the emergence in Brazil of a new religious speech from Catholic Church founded in comprehension path, dissociated from punishment and guilty. This religious speech is more like a self help speech rather than a tradicional religious discourse itself, very similar to psychotherapeutic speech. The TV program presented by Fabio de Melo is guided in tiny line of sacre and profane which announces contradictions but also a new blend of religious approach in contemporary days

TV Signal Delivery to Cable Operators and DTH Platform Operators

The paper discusses new business models of transmission of television programs in the context of definitions of broadcasting and retransmission. Typically the whole process of supplying content to the end user has two stages: a media service provider supplies a signal assigned to a given TV channel to the cable operators and satellite DTH platform operators (dedicated transmission), and cable operators and satellite DTH platform operators transmit this signal to end users. In each stage the signals are encoded and are not available for the general public without the intervention of cable/platform operators. The services relating to the supply and transmission of the content are operated by different business entities: each earns money separately and each uses the content protected by copyright. We should determine how to define the actions of the entity supplying the signal with the TV program directly to the cable/digital platform operator and the actions of the entity providing the end user with the signal. The author criticizes the approach presented in the Chellomedia and Norma rulings, arguing that they lead to a significant level of legal uncertainty, and poses the basic questions concerning the notion of “public” in copyright.

Aquest és un projecte sobre la indexació de continguts televisius; és a dir, el procés d’etiquetatge de programes televisius per facilitar cerques segons diferents paràmetres. El món de la televisió està immers en un procés d'evolució i canvis gràcies a l'entrada de la televisió digital. Aquesta nova forma d'entendre la televisió obrirà un gran ventall de possibilitats i permetrà la interacció entre usuaris i emissora. El primer pas de la gestió de continguts consisteix en la indexació dels programes segons el contingut. Aquest és el nostre objectiu. Indexar els continguts televisius de manera automàtica mitjançant la intelligència artificial.

Vilka faktorer påverkar användningen av den interaktiva skrivtavlan i matematikundervisningen enligt lärare? : En intervjustudie med sex lärare i årskurs 1-5

Syftet med studien är att få ökad kunskap om lärares erfarenheter av och uppfattningar om att använda den interaktiva skrivtavlan i matematikundervisning samt hur den påverkar elevers lärande i matematik. Studien visar att skrivtavlan används huvudsakligen som ett demonstrationsverktyg för läraren vid exempelvis genomgångar och repetition. Den tillhörande dokumentkameran används flitigt. Skrivtavlan används också för att visa film och TV-program och ibland för att söka på internet. Eleverna interagerar med skrivtavlan när de till exempel löser uppgifter i matematik. Detta sker både enskilt och i par. Interaktion mellan elev och skrivtavlan sker även då surfplattor kopplas upp mot skrivtavlan. Det är vanligt att eleverna redovisar arbeten med hjälp av skrivtavlan. De faktorer som skapar möjligheter till användning är skrivtavlans unika egenskaper och ”Det får igång eleverna”. Skrivtavlans unika egenskaper innebär till exempel funktionen som gör det enkelt att spara och plocka fram sparade dokument samt enkelheten i att snabbt byta aktivitet. Citatet ”Det får igång eleverna” avser skrivtavlans påverkan på elevers delaktighet och fokus, faktorer som upplevs öka när skrivtavlan involveras i undervisningen. De faktorer som upplevs som hinder är lärarens kunskap om verktyget och tekniska problem. Tiden är ett hinder för lärarnas egen kunskapsinhämtning men kan också verka som möjlighet då tid kan skapas för enskilda elever när skrivtavlan används i ett stationssystem i undervisningen.

Utilizando a televisão digital como um meio de comunicação para ambientes interativos reais

This Dissertation aims to provide a communication mechanism between Digital TV viewers and interaction devices, such as robots, for example, placed on the environment from which a TV program is being live broadcasted. Such communication mechanism has the objective to allow viewers controll the Interaction Devices through their TV devices, using the broadcast channel present in Interactive Digital TV systems, and receive data from the devices by the broadcast channel. This system was projected as a middlewaer system where the Interaction Devices in the TV program set are interconnected, creating a Interactive Device Network. With this approach, the system is capable of manage the devices on the network, controlling the flow of coming and leaving elements, in a transparent way for the viewers. The system yet allows the Interaction Devices communicate each other, with a integrated communication channel with no worries about the physical communication layer

Imagens em avalia-ação: uma pesquisa-ação sobre o uso de matérias televisivas em aulas de educação física

O objetivo desta investigação foi elaborar e experimentar procedimentos avaliativos que buscaram acessar as aprendizagens propiciadas em aulas de Educação Física que se valeram de matérias televisivas. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa-ação. Concluiu-se que os alunos aprofundaram sua percepção e entendimento sobre o tema desenvolvido nas aulas (exclusão/discriminação); que as estratégias utilizadas contemplaram uma avaliação integrada ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem; e que o uso da matéria televisiva escolhida deu-se de forma integrada ao processo, caracterizando-se como imprescindível para o seu desenvolvimento.
