A concepção de sublimação no trabalho de Jean Laplanche

The theory of generalized seduction is a proposal for a new foundation to psychoanalysis that promotes a crucial metapsychological repositioning to rescue the other's role in subjectivity constituyion. The aim of this paper is to present and to discuss the concept of sublimation in this reference, working difficulties and limitations of a strict notion in which the concept appears as a mere modification of the object and the target of sexual drive. It is intended to discuss the limitations of this conception in its task of articulation between the individual subjectivity and the cultural organization, indicating the proposal of Jean Laplanche for originary sublimation and neoformation of drive, as attempts to overcome some of these theoretical and conceptual impasses. We conclude that Laplanche´s proposal is insufficient to account for the limitations in the theories of drives and culture in psychoanalysis, therefore, that it is a problem still current and relevant in this field of studies.

Tratamiento informativo del deporte femenino español en los Juegos Olímpicos en el diario ABC (1924-2012)

Los recientes éxitos del deporte femenino olímpico español (en los últimos Juegos Olímpicos de Londres 2012 hubo más medallas de mujeres que de hombres) están empezando a tener su repercusión en los medios de comunicación, tanto en la cantidad como en la calidad de las informaciones. Salvando las constantes inherentes a los deportes minoritarios (sólo se habla de ellos cada cuatro años, eclipsados el resto de la Olimpiada por el fútbol), sí que se está produciendo un cambio de actitud hacia las especialidades femeninas. Los Medios de Comunicación les dedican más atención y las deportistas disfrutan de más popularidad mediática. Además, los éxitos olímpicos han continuado en otras competiciones (Europeos, Mundiales…) y se siguen con interés los campeonatos en los que participan las españolas. Hace años, era impensable que los MM.CC. se hicieran eco de un Europeo de balonmano femenino o de uno de piscina corta, como ahora sucede. Y el interés por las actividades deportivas de las féminas sigue creciendo en función de los buenos resultados. Precisamente, para analizar lo que ha sido esta evolución en las citas olímpicas vamos a centrarnos en el estudio de las informaciones femeninas en todos los Juegos Olímpicos en el Diario ABC, el más veterano de los de tirada nacional. Esto nos va a permitir estudiar el tratamiento informativo que se les ha dado a estas deportistas a lo largo de la historia. Dado que la primera aparición femenina sucedió en París 1924, este periódico es ideal para este fin. Se han analizado todas las páginas de los Juegos Olímpicos en los que ha habido representación femenina española (desde París 1924 hasta Londres 2012) y contabilizado sus resultados de modo cuantitativo, tanto por deportes como por espacio, y cualitativo, por la relevancia de las mismas...

Low subthreshold slope in junctionless multigate transistors

The improvement of subthreshold slope due to impact ionization is compared between ""standard"" inversion-mode multigate silicon nanowire transistors and junctionless transistors. The length of the region over which impact ionization takes place, as well as the amplitude of the impact ionization rate are found to be larger in the junctionless devices, which reduces the drain voltage necessary to obtain a sharp subthreshold slope. Efeito da aplicação de fertilização nitrogenada e lodo de esgoto nas características da madeira juvenil de árvores de Eucalyptus grandis

This work evaluated the wood anatomical and physical characteristics of 24 months-old Eucalyptus grandis trees, planted in 3x2m spacing and fertilized with nitrogen (6, 12, 18 month old) and sewage sludge (planting, 8 month old). For each treatment 10 eucalypts trees were cut according to the distribution of basal area. Wood samples were collected in different percentages of the total height to analyze the anatomical (vessels and fibers) and physical (wood density) characteristics. The results showed that the wood apparent density and wood basic density of the eucalypt trees in the nitrogen and sewage sludge were larger in comparison to the control. Radial profiles of wood apparent density, were similar in the three treatments, presenting the exected characteristics of juvenile wood of 24 months-old eucalypt trees. Fiber and vessel dimensions were not affected by fertilization.
