As relações de poder em Michel Foucault: reflexões teóricas

Este artigo baseia-se em reflexões acerca das relações de poder em obras de Michel Foucault. Procurou-se percorrer o contexto de sua vida de forma introdutória e os diferentes modos de poder, perpassando pelas formas de força e disciplina. O procedimento metodológico foi a pesquisa bibliográfica dos acontecimentos considerados pelo autor em seu tempo, história e espaço. Diante do triângulo de Foucault (poder - direito - verdade) e das passagens em que ele se refere ao aparelho de Estado, este artigo compara o tripé da sociedade (Estado - mercado - sociedade civil) com o triângulo de Foucault. Constata-se que o poder está por toda parte e provoca ações ora no campo do direito, ora no da verdade. Deve ser entendido como uma relação flutuante, não estando em uma instituição nem em ninguém, enquanto o saber está numa relação de formas e conteúdos.

As relações de poder na gestão da Escola Estadual Presidente Kennedy em Natal/RN: as ações decisórias dos órgãos colegiados - o conselho de escola e o caixa escolar

The present study examined the relations of power in the management of the Escola Estadual Presidente Kennedy, including the deliberate decisions on the School Council and School Fund, which guided the organization of the school. We sought to understand the management models that influenced the school organization, promoting contradictions in the decision making process. The school management is intensely marked by management models from the business logics as in the case of managerialism of bureaucracy. The formulation of educational policies based on managerialism has proposed a school-centered management with intense accountability of the school community in planning and monitoring the public services. The influences of these models subsidize hierarchical power relations that undermine the actions of decision-making of the collegiate bodies for the democratization of school management. To develop a research on the power, the investigation was based on studies of Bourdieu and Foucault. These authors understand the power in a relational system in a double sense, both in terms of discipline and the possibility of resistance. A theoreticalmethodological matrix was developed focusing on literature review, document analysis, structured interviews with twelve representatives of the segments belonging to the School Council and School Fund, as well as observations in meetings with the production of field notes. It was found that power relations experienced in the organization and activities of the school boards are marked by changes in public management over the years, promoting the contradictions between the concepts of corporate management originated in the business logics and the perspective of democratic management subsidized by official legislative documents at the national and state levels. The observations in meetings and analysis of the records showed that representatives related to management (president and manager of the school) have a privileged position with regard to exposure of their propositions, and are more likely to take a position in the political game of the collegiate bodies of work. It was also seen that the irregularity of meetings, particularly of the School Fund meetings, limits the experience of operation of the representatives in discussions concerning the planning and monitoring the actions of school management. Reports from representatives of the School Council showed that certain segments related to the management recognize their power of decision, however others have little interfere in the decision-making process in order to expound the desires of those who are represented by them. In the School Fund, the analysis of the records and interviews showed restricted moments of the meeting of representatives, and these only being aimed at choice or approval of the implementation plan prepared by the school management. The results showed no indications of moments of reflection to study the best chance for applicability of resources. This collegiate body (School Fund) has a questionable action when planning and monitoring the applicability of the financial resources of the School. To sum up, it was found that the Escola Estadual Presidente Kennedy still lives hierarchical power relations that undermine the institutionalization of democratic management in the various representative segments may take place in the game of political decision-making processes necessary for the organization of the school

Implicações sobre o trabalho coletivo, relações de poder na escola e valorização / desvalorização docente

As questões dessa pesquisa se delinearam a partir de uma outra, sobre a construção do Projeto Pedagógico (Dias e Tuppy, 2010), cujo levantamento preliminar aponta para os temas acima apontados, quais sejam: trabalho coletivo, relações de poder e mecanismos de valorização profissional no âmbito da instituição escolar, a que chamaremos de categorias de análise. O trabalho coletivo é o mecanismo vital para o êxito da vida escolar, e vê-se a necessidade de olhar quais os mecanismos dessa prática. As relações de poder na escola podem ser vistas de diversos ângulos, e será outro componente da pesquisa. A desvalorização e valorização docente que se vincula a ideologias, a visões da sociedade, e até as questões de gênero. No trabalho preliminar realizado no âmbito daquela pesquisa, por 10 pesquisadores, em 53 escolas de uma Rede Municipal de Ensino, tais categorias aparecem de forma recorrente nas discussões realizadas com os profissionais das diferentes escolas, apontando para o fato de que tais temas tem prevalência no cotidiano escolar, implicando a necessidade de um estudo mais acurado sobre eles. Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa, buscará elementos que forneçam aporte teórico à parte das discussões que serão encaminhadas por aquele estudo. Recorreremos, assim, ao levantamento de trabalhos, cuja temática estabeleça relação com as categorias de análise aqui definidas. Com os objetivos de buscar aporte teórico para discussão do cotidiano escolar, levantar trabalhos científicos que tratem das seguintes temáticas: trabalho coletivo, relações de poder e mecanismos de valorização profissional no âmbito da instituição. Para elaboração deste trabalho será realizada uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, através de levantamento e análise bibliográfica, a fim de mapear e analisar a produção científica sobre os temas propostos. Cultura Organizacional e Relações de Poder : Uma análise de caso do Centro de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo Vitória 2014

Esta dissertação analisa, por meio de um estudo de caso, a Cultura Organizacional do Centro de Ciências da Saúde - CCS - da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - UFES - e as relações de Poder dentro da universidade e do próprio CCS, no período de agosto de 2013 a janeiro de 2014. Para tanto, foi utilizado o método de Análise de Discurso Crítica, em entrevistas e documentos, visando compreender a influência interna da cultura organizacional, bem como sua influência junto à administração central. A partir da análise, percebe-se que o CCS possui uma dinâmica própria de funcionamento, que apesar de discordante dos princípios burocráticos buscados pela administração pública, basta para o funcionamento interno e permite influenciar, mesmo que tangencialmente, a estrutura de poder central da instituição. Além disso, percebe-se a força da influência cultural do curso de medicina dentro da própria organização do centro.

Diferença ou deficiência? : reflexões que problematizam a função normalizadora/normatizadora da instituição escolar

O presente trabalho de pesquisa investiga a diferença na instituição escolar, utilizando como principal referencial teórico o pensamento de Foucault. Procura-se problematizar os discursos e as práticas normatizadoras/normalizadoras em relação à diferença na instituição escolar, investigando as relações de semelhança e coincidência entre as categorias diferença-deficiência. Considerando que o conceito diferença designa uma problematização na dicotomia normalidade/anormalidade, é proposta, inicialmente, uma breve retomada da história dos fenômenos que marcaram a aproximação entre relações sociais e anormalidade, suas descontinuidades e rupturas. Além disso, apresenta-se uma sucinta análise etimológica e conceitual das categorias norma/normal; diferença/deficiência, A partir dessas idéias, discute-se como o sujeito tem sido categorizado como diferente frente aos discursos e às práticas institucionais. As seguintes questões, então, ganham destaque na investigação: Como o discurso da diferença constitui a prática escolar hoje? Que práticas escolares são produzidas hoje, a partir dos discursos contemporâneos sobre a diferença? Foi investigado como esses discursos e práticas têm sido produzidos em uma instituição escolar da Rede Privada do município de Lajeado/RS, a qual contempla na sua proposta pedagógica e nos seus movimentos institucionais questões relativas à diferença A escola investigada aponta para algumas rupturas/fissuras na lógica institucional que compõe o modelo escola. Os dispositivos criados pela instituição (redes de apoio, grupo de estudos...) parecem constituir-se como tessituras que possibilitam formas “atualizadas” de ver o outro. Os movimentos produzidos nesta escola geram confronto, potência e metamorfoses nos seus professores, o que faz com que os discursos e as práticas sobre a diferença e, principalmente, a relação entre ambos apontem para sintonias e dissonâncias relativas a afecções produzidas na relação das professoras com os seus alunos, as quais instauram possibilidades de singularização.

O mercado fonográfico no Brasil: alterações nas relações de poder a partir do desenvolvimento tecnológico e da pirataria virtual

The phonographic market has experienced a period of significant change caused by technological evolution. This phenomenon of global proportions has been the subject of considerable debate in the media and in academia. The entry of new actors, as well as piracy and new forms of commercialization of musical products, has significantly altered the relationships of power existing in this field. Therefore, the scope of this article is to analyze the phonographic industry in Brazil as an arena of forces and power struggles, based on notions of the field of cultural production, from the perspective of Bourdieu. This study constitutes a qualitative research and data was analyzed using a descriptiveinterpretative approach. In the case of the sector under scrutiny, and on the basis of the theoretical reference material, it would appear to be correct to affirm that economic capital is what is being sought on the part of the actors who comprise the field. Nevertheless, it is important to stress that the critical incidents that brought about the changes in the structure of the field over the course of time were predominantly of a technological nature. The field of the Brazilian phonographic market is currently experiencing a period of structural alteration that was especially affected by the development of MP3 technology and the emergence of virtual piracy. The fact is that formerly the major recording companies dominated the market and had the necessary resources of power to exercise their role as dominant actors and maintain this position. However, the aforementioned factors favored the entry of new actors in the field and the empowerment of those that prior to this time did not have the resources to compete against this domination.

Cultura organizacional e relações de poder: mapeando a rede ferroviária federal S.A, em liquidação

o objetivo dessa dissertação é conhecer as relações de poder - fonnais e informais - existentes na Rede Ferroviária Federal S.A., em liquidação (RFFSA) e aquelas que atuam sobre a empresa. Para isso, foi utilizado o Método Etnográfico, observando-se de forma participante a cultura da empresa, complementando assim o levantamento bibliográfico sobre o Estado, sobre a burocracia - especialmente o hibridismo das empresas estatais - e sobre as relações de poder entre esses no Brasil. Concluiu-se que: os funcionários de uma empresa em liquidação não são facilmente motivados e trabalham contra os objetivos organizacionais, já que se apresenta um conflito de interesses; como o processo de liquidação da RFFSA é longo, as relações de poder infonnais se fortificam com o intuito de que a estratégia organizacional não tenha sucesso; a comunicação entre lideres e liderados não atenua os conflitos entre os objetivos organizacionais e de Recursos Humanos, dado que os empregados manipulam o discurso como forma de resistência à liquidação. De forma mais genérica, recomenda-se a redução da ingerência político-partidária na burocracia estatal, por meio de uma refonna administrativa que considere o aspecto cultural do serviço público, podendo se desenvolver a idéia de "accountability" entre os servidores.

GÊNERO E RELAÇÕES DE PODER NO PENTECOSTALISMO: ESTUDO COMPARATIVO ENTRE A IGREJA DE CRISTO NO BRASIL E A COMUNIDADE EVANGÉLICA SARA NOSSA TERRA

Based on the empirical comparative study between two churches from Pentecostal guidance - both located in Parnamirim/RN - and supported on a dialogic interaction between my interlocutors and theoretical references, I proposed me to reflect about how this protestant segment represents and articulates questions such as gender and power relationships, and the daily impact of that in their followers life. In other words, this dissertation aims to understand the reason of the asymmetry attributed to male and female, especially in what concerns the distribution of ecclesiastic works and the authority given to male, as well as the implication of this reality in the reconfiguration of morality and religious praxis in daily life of individuals and involved groups. From this perspective, this work was divided in three chapters, in which I investigate the tension/relationship between faith and secularism, for from this question on concessions and/or prohibitions related to the limits and involvement of the followers with the world and with the very Pentecostal ethos arise. I also analyze here aspects concerning to both ecclesiastic hierarchy and power, with the objective of elucidating how it occurs, what kind of criteria and implications they consider as well as about the nature of the religious labor division between men and women and, finally, I try to understand how the conversion/adhesion of members is reflected in the redefinitions of gender and its relationship between the ecclesiastical and domestic spaces. The diligence and energy spent in this work is in the hope that its fruits can corroborate in the expansion of anthropological knowledge which, in this particular case, involves the Brazilian Pentecostal phenomenon

A constituição de identidades de mulheres : práticas discursivas e relações de poder

This research investigates the discursive constitution of identities; in spe-cial, it aim to problematize women identities constitution, pointing discursive prac-tices and power relations which involve them. The interviewed subjects had been adult women who had resumed their school trajectory, after certain period without frequenting educational establishments. Aware of that those identities can be per-ceived through the observations of the discursive practices, we question: which discursive practices and power relations involve and constitute those women? Which identity positionings they take through the discursive practices and power relations that include them and that are identified in their stories? Which linguistic marks characterize, in the speech of those women, forms of resistance in the con-stitution of identities? We intend to investigate the constitution of woman identities in the contemporanity; pointing discursive practices and power relations which in-volve women that converge to their identity constitution; exploring in the linguistic materiality effects of senses that emanate of the discursive practices and power relations which involve the collaborators in the identity constitution in private and public spaces. Research corpus is composed by stories of life granted by three women, collected through semidirected interview between 2004 and 2005. To ana-lyze the data, we base in authors as Pêcheux (1993; 2002), Foucault (1979; 1988; etc.), Butler (2003), Scott (1992; 1995), Hall (2000; 2004; 2005), Bauman (1999; 2005), among others that problematize questions as discourse, identity, social gender, power and its interfaces. The life stories had allowed to analyze: the gen-der identity constitution from discursive practices and relations of forces lived in the familiar scenery; assumed identity positionings from discursive practices in globalized urban contexts; power positions in the domestic and extradomestic sphere and new identity positionings
