Este Trabalho de Projeto tem como objeto a tradução para Língua Portuguesa do conto Babylon Revisited do autor norte-americano F. Scott Fitzgerald, publicado pela primeira vez em 1931 na revista semanal Saturday Evenning Post. Na primeira parte do trabalho, procedeu-se a uma apresentação da vida e obra do autor, análise do conto e do contexto histórico e sócio-económico em que ambos se inserem. Na segunda parte faz-se uma exposição das teorias de tradução que mais diretamente influenciaram o presente trabalho, assim como uma reflexão sobre as dificuldades que surgiram durante o trabalho de tradução e a justificação acerca das soluções encontradas e do processo decisivo.

David J. Stevens and Ernest Fitzgerald were 1948 graduates of the Plumbing Department at the New York Trade School and are pictured with a truck from their successful D.H. Stevens Company in Washington, DC. Original caption reads, "David J. Stevens - Plumbing 1948, is shown here with Ernest Fitzgerald - Plumbing 1948, with two of their thirteen pieces of equipment necessary to satisfy 650 calls per month. David Stevens is the third generation to have graduated from Plumbing." Black and white photograph with caption adhered to reverse.

The Martha Thomas Fitzgerald Papers consist of biographical data, correspondence, minutes, newspaper clippings, memoranda, reports, and photographs (of particular interest are the many photographs of rural S.C. school houses in the 1920s). The collection pertains to Mrs. Fitzgerald’s work with the South Carolina Department of Education, the South Carolina House of Representatives, and her work with various civic organizations such as the Altrusa Club, the League of Women Voters, the Daughters of American Colonists, United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), Business and Professional Women’s Club (BPW), Delta Kappa Gamma, South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Salvation Army. There is also information on the Status of Women Commission Council on Aging, agriculture, Queens College, University of South Carolina, Winthrop University, Columbia University, public health, South Carolina history, City of Columbia, South Carolina, and Richland County, South Carolina. Correspondents include Strom Thurmond and three letters from John F. Kennedy when he was senator. Mrs. Fitzgerald was the first woman elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in a general election.
