Os argumentos transcendentais: kant e o problema de hume

This work whose title is "The transcendental arguments: Kant Andy Hume's problem" has as its main objective to interpret Kant's answer to Hume's problem in the light of the conjunction of the causality and induction themes which is equivalent to skeptical- naturalist reading of the latter. In this sense, this initiative complements the previous treatment seen in our dissertation, where the same issue had been discussed from a merely skeptical reading that Kant got from Hume thought and was only examined causality. Among the specific objectives, we list the following: a) critical philosophy fulfills three basic functions, a founding, one negative and one would argue that the practical use of reason, here named as defensive b) the Kantian solution of Hume's problem in the first critisism would fulfill its founding and negative functions of critique of reason; c) the Kantian treatment of the theme of induction in other criticisms would will fulfill the defense function of critique of reason; d) that the evidence of Kant's answer to Hume's problem are more consistent when will be satisfied these three functions or moments of criticism. The basic structure of the work consists of three parts: the first the genesis of Hume's problem - our intention is to reconstruct Hume's problem, analyzing it from the perspective of two definitions of cause, where the dilution of the first definition in the second match the reduction of psychological knowledge to the probability of following the called naturalization of causal relations; whereas in the second - Legality and Causality - it is stated that when considering Hume in the skeptic-naturalist option, Kant is not entitled to respond by transcendental argument A􀁴B; A⊢B from the second Analogy, evidence that is rooted in the position of contemporary thinkers, such as Strawson and Allison; in third part - Purpose and Induction - admits that Kant responds to Hume on the level of regulative reason use, although the development of this test exceeds the limits of the founding function of criticism. And this is articulated in both the Introduction and Concluding Remarks by meeting the defensive [and negative] function of criticism. In this context, based on the use of so-called transcendental arguments that project throughout the critical trilogy, we provide solution to a recurring issue that recurs at several points in our submission and concerning to the "existence and / or the necessity of empirical causal laws. In this light, our thesis is that transcendental arguments are only an apodictic solution to the Hume s skeptical-naturalist problem when is at stake a practical project in which the interest of reason is ensured, as will, in short, proved in our final considerations

Prolongamento da amamentação após o primeiro ano de vida: argumentos das mães

This paper aims to identify and analyze the reasons pointed by mothers to prolong breastfeeding beyond the first year of the child s life. The study involved 40 mothers whose children were treated in the Preventive Program of Research and Dental Treatment Center for Special Patients - Dental School of Piracicaba - UNICAMP. The group consisted of mothers who prolonged the breastfeeding beyond the baby s first year of life. All mothers were surveyed by a researcher using a specific questionnaire. In order to avoid information loss, the interviews were taped, then transcripted. Results showed that the main cause of the extended breastfeeding was maternal pleasure. It was also observed that the mother and infant attachment favors prolonged breastfeeding occurrence. Further studies should be carried out for more accurate functional analyses of variable that lead to extend breastfeeding or to wean.

Piaget segundo seus próprios argumentos

Neste artigo tivemos a intenção de oferecer ao leitor o resumo de um dos aspectos mais importantes da análise estrutural que realizamos, durante décadas, do texto de Jean Piaget, sobretudo as estreitas relações entre a Biologia e a Lógica na construção e na explicação do conhecimento científico. Nesse sentido, procuramos demonstrar que, a partir dos conceitos de implicação significante e de imagem mental criados por Piaget, um novo campo de investigações se abre, a saber, aquele que denominamos como o dos sistemas de significação não lógica, campo de suma relevância e que vem preencher uma secular lacuna entre a razão e a emoção até hoje presente nas pesquisas sobre os fenômenos normais e patológicos do psiquismo.

Medicina privada e saúde pública estariam convergindo? I. O problema e argumentos que justificariam o preparo do estudante de medicina em medicina comunitária

Tece-se considerações sôbre a aproximação que parece estar havendo entre o ensino médico e o de saúde pública, em virtude da criação de Departamentos de Medicina Comunitária em algumas Escolas de Medicina. São apresentados alguns argumentos que estariam a indicar a evolução da medicina privada no sentido de uma atuação mais efetiva na comunidade, contribuindo assim para a real integralização do campo médico.

O projecto “Principais tendências no cinema português contemporâneo” nasceu no Departamento de Cinema da ESTC, com o objectivo de desenvolver investigação especializada a partir de um núcleo formado por alunos da Licenciatura em Cinema e do Mestrado em Desenvolvimento de Projecto Cinematográfico, a que se juntaram professores-investigadores membros do CIAC e convidados. O que agora se divulga corresponde a dois anos e meio de trabalho desenvolvido pela equipa de investigação, entre Abril de 2009 e Novembro de 2011. Dada a forma que ele foi adquirindo, preferimos renomeá-lo, para efeitos de divulgação, “Novas & velhas tendências no cinema português contemporâneo”.

Argumentos para uma humanização do ensino das ciências

Identificando a rutura no desenvolvimento da ciência entre o contexto de descoberta e o contexto de justificação, julgamos poder entender melhor a dominação do ensino transmissivo da ciência em contexto escolar e melhor argumentar para a sua superação. Por outro lado, o argumento que aqui defendemos para recuperar, para o contexto de sala de aula, a fortíssima chama cultural que a ciência transporta nos seus conceitos, leis e teorias, bem como no seu próprio processo de desenvolvimento, tem uma tradição enraizada na cultura portuguesa que exploramos.

Argumentos para uma viagem sem regresso. A imigração PALOP por via da saúde. Um estudo de caso.

Este trabalho pretende chamar a atenção para a existência de um fluxo migratório muito específico: a imigração oriunda dos PALOP por via da saúde. Chegam até Portugal diariamente doentes evacuados ao abrigo dos Acordos de Cooperação no domínio da saúde, que acabam por não voltar mais ao país de origem. Estes migrantes são muitas vezes esquecidos e não têm sido objecto de investigação aprofundada. O trabalho pretende alertar também para o facto dos Acordos de Saúde celebrados entre Portugal e os PALOP estarem frequentemente desadequados da realidade actual, para além de não serem muitas vezes cumpridos pelas partes. Por exemplo, em muitos casos as embaixadas dos países de origem não apoiam os doentes em Portugal, quer em termos de alimentação, quer de alojamento ou medicamentos. As deficientes triagens no país de origem parecem conduzir a processos de selecção de doentes pouco claros e ineficazes. Vir para Portugal para tratamento médico obriga por vezes a verdadeiras batalhas: com a embaixada, com as finanças, com o Ministério da Saúde. A posse de capitais social e económico revela-se um elemento chave no desencadear e no desenrolar de todo o processo. Apesar das grandes dificuldades com que estes doentes e familiares (sobre)vivem em Portugal, muitos não querem regressar ao país de origem. A dificuldade em obter tratamento médico e medicamentos são as razões mais apontadas para não regressar. Em Portugal, porém, a vida não é fácil. O suporte económico, psicológico e cultural da maioria dos doentes assenta nas redes familiares e de amigos. A solidariedade e ajuda mútua entre os africanos é muito forte. Alguns dos que não têm família nem amigos em Portugal vivem da caridade dos seus compatriotas.

O noso propósito é presentar o proxecto máis ambicioso de poesía gai e lesbiana galega escrito, en paralelo, por Ana Romaní e Antón Lopo. A súa esculca poética representa unha interesante proposta de experimentación formal, na que se renova a concepción da poesía ó levala e adaptala a outros soportes, sen perder por iso a intensidade e a emoción lírica. Ademais ofrece dúas reflexións diferentes e complementarias sobre as identidades homosexuais, nas que se subliña o dereito a saír da sombra, a reivindicación do goce sexual (a arder e a ser lob*), e a definirse por posición e non pola imposición das convencións xenéricas (a rebeiión contra os pronomes).

The archaeological site of Cuyacabras (Quintanar de la Sierra, Burgos) is one of main early medieval reference settlements in Upper Arlanza basin lands and it attracts a great amount of visitors. The monumental featured half-caved church and the necropolis consisting of several burials dug into the rock present around the whole area are material evidences of an ancient hill town which has remained uninhabited from middle XIIIth century. New fieldworks on this whole site, excavated during the sixties, have been focused on improving the scientific impact of the site and setting up to date the records and information entries for the necropolis. All obtained data emphasize the weakness of several principles used to put in value the settlement, and they also suggest a revision of several-year-old discussions on one hand, and on the other one, they encourage scholars to propound new up to date theories which will fi t better with our knowledge"s current context.

Departing from initial training on Mathematics teaching, this article analyses several beliefs held by future teachers regarding mathematical knowledge. Some of these beliefs are an authentic obstacle for an advance towards quality Mathematics teaching, therefor, the autors reproduce five arguments given to groups of future teachers in order to tackle some of their beliefs on Mathematics and making them build, modify or consolidate a more complex imatge of mathematical knowledge and Mathematics work in the classroom
