Alguns aspectes formals de la traducció llatina de l'Alcorà de Robert de Ketton (ca. 1141-1143) i la seva relació amb el text original àrab

En el marc de la història de la transmissió escrita de l'Alcorà (al-Qur'an), l'article fa referència a l'evolució de la forma i l'estructura del text en relació amb l'oralitat del missatge original, a l'existència de diferents tradicions textuals en el si de la comunitat islàmica i al seu reflex en les traduccions. L'atenció se centra, sobretot, en la primera traducció sencera coneguda de l'Alcorà al llatí, realitzada per Robert de Ketton (ca. 1141-1143) a la Vall de l'Ebre, i se'n destaca el valor documental com a testimoni contemporani d'una tradició magribina i andalusina de tractament del text.

Del discurso a la lexicografía: propuesta de aplicación para los conectores reformulativos

This paper aims at defending the necessity of creating applicationsfrom studies on discourse, so that applied linguistics becomes auseful tool for the society. This work explains briefly what reformulation connectors are and it shows the electronic prototype (than can be consulted by internet) of a tool designed to make the work of lexicographerseasy concerning the entrance of connectors in the dictionaries (ALCOR), by making emphasis on the theoretical base on which it is sustained and on the decisions of application that have been taken into account.

Una de les tendències actuals de molts musulmans il·lustrats és buscar paral·lelismes entre les descobertes científiques i les escriptures de l'Alcorà. Molts textos apologètics comencen dient que "la ciència ha confirmat les ensenyances de l'Islam amb tant detall que és impossible negar l'existència d'Al·là i la veritable natura del sant Alcorà". No pretenc discutir si aquests paral·lelismes són reals o bé si són interpretacions subjectives afavorides per la lírica de l'Alcorà, que fa uns anys vaig llegir de la mà de la fantàstica traducció al català de Míkel de Epalza, malgrat que trobo infinitament més versemblant la segona alternativa [...].

El libro de los juegos.

El presente documento persigue el objetivo de difundir todas aquella aportaciones innovadoras e interesantes que el profesorado de la comarca del CEP de Alcalá de Guadaira (Sevilla) ha ido elaborando. Aquí se pone a disposición del profesorado el resultado práctico de una experiencia realizada por un grupo de profesores del Colegio Público Blas Infante de El Viso del Alcor (Sevilla), durante varios cursos. Esta experiencia se ha convertido en la estructura de funcionamiento normal dentro del centro. En el presente documento se expone una pequeña muestra de esta experiencia, una compilación de los juegos construidos por el alumnado de educación primaria en un taller de juegos matemáticos, uno de los múltiples que se han realizado en el Colegio Público Blas Infante.

Educación física para la paz.

Proyecto de educación en valores desarrollado durante la clases de educación física en el CEIP Gil López de el Viso del Alcor (Sevilla) titulado el juego de la vida. Se aprovechan las efemérides que se celebran en la escuela para crear un centro de interés para acercar las áreas curriculares a las problemáticas de la sociedad actual mediante el juego.

Cryogenic optical readout for a liquid argon neutrino imaging detector

The GRAIN detector is part of the SAND Near Detector of the DUNE neutrino experiment. A new imaging technique involving the collection of the scintillation light will be used in order to reconstruct images of particle tracks in the GRAIN detector. Silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) matrices will be used as photosensors for collecting the scintillation light emitted at 127 nm by liquid argon. The readout of SiPM matrices inside the liquid argon requires the use of a multi-channel mixed-signal ASIC, while the back-end electronics will be implemented in FPGAs outside the cryogenic environment. The ALCOR (A Low-power Circuit for Optical sensor Readout) ASIC, developed by Torino division of INFN, is under study, since it is optimized to readout SiPMs at cryogenic temperatures. I took part in the realization of a demonstrator of the imaging system, which consists of a SiPM matrix connected to a custom circuit board, on which an ALCOR ASIC is mounted. The board communicates with an FPGA. The first step of the present project that I have accomplished was the development of an emulator for the ALCOR ASIC. This emulator allowed me to verify the correct functioning of the initial firmware before the real ASIC itself was available. I programmed the emulator using VHDL and I also developed test benches in order to test its correct working. Furthermore, I developed portions of the DAQ software, which I used for the acquisition of data and the slow control of the ASICs. In addition, I made some parts of the DAQ firmware for the FPGAs. Finally, I tested the complete SiPMs readout system at both room and cryogenic temperature in order to ensure its full functionality.
