Esta pesquisa, filiada à Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, trata da designação. Neste trabalho, nos perguntamos o que é designar, quais são as conseqüências históricas e sociais que decorrem deste ato que repetimos infinitas vezes. Esta é, essencialmente, a questão que nos move durante este trabalho. Como tema de investigação, nosso olhar se volta para as designações que são conferidas aos estrangeiros e imigrantes pela Imprensa. Portanto, os gestos de análise recortam os enunciados e a imprensa é tomada, teórica e analiticamente, como uma Formação Discursiva que constrói um imaginário de Brasil e determina a (in)aceitabilidade do sujeito. Em seu interior se delineiam “jogos” de forças (e de sentidos), produzidos pelo entrecruzamento das diferentes posições-sujeito. Assim, designar o estrangeiro como clandestino ou a boliviana, por exemplo, não é um gesto destituído de conseqüências. Delimitamos como pertencentes à Formação Discursiva da Imprensa os jornais: Zero Hora, Folha de São Paulo, Agora, São Paulo – Shimbun, Nippo-Brasil e Portugal em Foco, bem como a revista Marie Claire. Este trabalho se baseia em um critério qualitativo, que privilegia a condição de representatividade dos textos em estudo. É a discursivização do estrangeiro e do imigrante que confere unidade às diferentes publicações, tomadas como corpus heterogêneo, em virtude dos comprometimentos ideológicos dos órgãos de imprensa. Nossa fundamentação teórico-metodológica tem como suporte os pressupostos teóricos desenvolvidos por Pêcheux e Courtine, bem como as significativas contribuições teóricas de Orlandi e Guimarães. Além disso, realizamos um profícuo percurso pelos pensamentos filosóficos de Aristóteles, Spinoza e Frege, sempre considerando suas contribuições sob o viés do materialismo histórico. Esse diálogo com o campo da Filosofia se mostra essencial para a realização das análises e nos permite responder às questões a que nos propusemos. E assim, consideramos que a tradicional divisão entre designação e atributo não mais se mantém, pois ambos constituem, igualmente, o cerne de um processo discursivo que constrói (e determina) a subjetividade.

The present work has an objective of investigate the acceptability of consumption of the goat meat and studies the perception of university students on the productive sector of goats in the Northeast. The habit to eat goat meat has strong regional traditions and has been suffering the demographic, cultural, economic and personal influences. Currently, a new habit in the food consumers is observed and has been configuring itself a trend that concern with the health and welfare in general, in countries mainly developed. This fact comes directly contributing for the modernization of the production models, including the ambient conscience. The methodology applied includes bibliographical research, data-collecting through questionnaires applied in the UFRN (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte ) and analysis of the data using statistic techniques assisted for software Statistica V6. It is concluded that the rate of consumption of goat meat is low in the population studied. The frequency of consumption is higher in times of leisure or to visit relatives. The descriptive analysis of the responses of interviewees shows ignorance of the production of goat meat and its importance to the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

This work investigates the importance of Eco-Materiais applied in the civil construction and the necessity of knowledge of the real estate market, showing the importance of application of recycled products where inserted inside of a bigger scope of the sustainable development which has the subjects as the ambient management. In the theoretical referencial boarded the recycled and perfectly ecological products that demonstrate the applicability of this type of products in the sector of the civil construction, beyond the economic and social placesThe main popouse of the real estate sector is to show the awareness and demonstration in the negotiation of property constructed with these products, therefore, already it is practised by the market of the civil construction where much time sao commercialized by real estate and the its correctors lacking in same knowledge that is more deepened on these materials, having this evidence been made with statistical application of questionnaire and analyzed with base. We finish showing the statistical results with application of 142 questionnaires in a universe of 145 real estate from Natal/RN. With this, we may say that today exists a very strong concern with the environmental laws and the generated ambient impact in the civil construction and that the real estate sector has a feeling that the necessity of if inserting in this process, therefore, the real estate market in our State is in expansion and sensible to the necessity of changes, since the Natal/RN meets in the script of the tourism the International demanding of the professional that a globalized knowledge works with property, so the necessity of understanding the environmental laws and understanding application of the echo-materias used in the construction will give a better quality of life and at the same time to protect the nature

Considerando-se as indesejáveis características sensoriais dos compostos sulfurados e o papel negativo que podem representar na qualidade sensorial das aguardentes, foi realizado um estudo para verificar uma possível correlação entre os teores de enxofre presentes em amostras de aguardentes de cana e sua qualidade sensorial. Nesse sentido foram determinados os teores de enxofre de sete amostras de aguardentes de cana, sendo quatro adquiridas no comércio local, e três obtidas em laboratório, utilizando-se alambiques de cobre, de aço inoxidável e de alumínio. As amostras foram então submetidas a testes de aceitabilidade quanto ao aroma, sabor e impressão global, realizados por uma equipe de 30 provadores, em cabines individuais, utilizando-se escala hedônica de nove centímetros. Os resultados assim obtidos após serem submetidos à análise de variância, ao teste de médias de Tukey e à análise de regressão, revelaram haver correlação negativa significativa (p£ 0,05) entre os teores de enxofre e a aceitabilidade das amostras de aguardentes, em relação a todas as características avaliadas, ressaltando o papel negativo representado pelos compostos sulfurados presentes nas aguardentes de cana e indicando ser o método de Ni Raney uma possível opção a ser adotada no controle de qualidade das aguardentes de cana.

The risks of accidents, illness and early death are part of life on Earth, which touches all living creatures, including Mankind. Because of modern mass communication media, the emotional impact of current risks are greater than in the past. Many unnecessary risk can and should be avoided, and with respect to other they can be drastically reduced. In addition to this, some risks should be confronted in order to avoid greater ones. In any risk analysis, eventual benefits should be taken into consideration, the risks surrounding other activities and other factors. Some risks examples and their implications are presented and discussed, in general. Nuclear energy is specifically treated, but it also refers and comments that which surrounds other human activities (airplanes, automobiles, smog, gasoline, DDT, and coal energy). As in the history of aviation, nuclear industry has a history of greater successes than failures. Nonetheless, in both cases, serious accidents deserve deep thought, including the increment of security norms. The current fear of some people to nuclear energy is compared to the unfounded fear at the advent of gasoline last century. Risks, naturally, should not be exagerated, but they cannot be discarded. The main intention of the author is to discuss the complexity of the problem, and to see that risks are evaluated and accepted. In relation to nuclear energy, the author only mentions his point of view, defended in other publications, that it involves very high risks.

In this work evaluated the content of vitamin C and total carotenoid in tomatoes fresh and dehydrated for conserve, with posterior immersion in sauce, verifying its sensorial acceptability. Dehydration was performed in dryer with airflow at 70 °C to obtain a product with final moisture of 45%. Determinations were carried out ascorbic acid, soluble solids, acidity, sugars and carotenoid before and after the dehydration process. The dehydrated tomatoes had been immersed in three types of sauces (pepper sauce, oregano with parrot leaves sauce and garlic sauce) per 25 days. After this period, the dry tomatoes in conserve had been submitted to the sensorial analysis in the pate form, applying themselves preference test. The results had been showed that retention of vitamin C and total carotenoid in the dehydrated product showed retention of 14.0% and 44.3%, respectively, in tomatoes after the dehydration process.
