Ist die Vorstellung, dass Gott „eine Wesenheit in drei Personen“ sein soll, verwirrend für Sie? Möchten Sie gern an den Schöpfergott glauben, wissen aber nicht, wie Sie das mit den Erkenntnissen der Naturwissenschaft unter einen Hut bringen können? Gratuliere, Sie sind in bester Gesellschaft! Unter dem Titel „Was Sie schon immer über Gott wissen wollten, aber nie zu fragen wagten“ bieten wir einen Kurs für Erwachsene an, die sich auch in Fragen des Glaubens das kritische Denken nicht verbieten lassen wollen. An vier Abenden werden wir uns mit Gott, seinem Wesen und seinen Eigenschaften auseinandersetzen. Pfannenfertige Antworten können wir Ihnen keine versprechen; wohl aber Denkanstösse von hellen Köpfen, die im Laufe von zweitausend Jahren theologischer Tradition mit diesen Fragen gerungen und wichtige Einsichten erlangt haben.

Regarding the twentieth century's interpretations of the Enlightenment and its actuality, it is noteworthy that some authors, like Habermas in "The philosophical discourse of Modernity", rely on Hegel to defend the Enlightenment and its project, whereas other close thinkers, like Adorno and Horkheimer in their "Dialectic of Enlightenment", quote Hegel to emphasize the destructive aspects of Enlightenment. In this work I show that in the Hegelian theory of Enlightenment both aspects, the negative and the programmatic, are present. I hold here that the Hegelian philosophy claims to be the consummation and not the rupture with this movement. This is expressed in the subtitle of the thesis: in the philosophy of Hegel the principle of autonomy is made absolute in terms of an immanentization of any transcendence that could have been still recognized or latent in the thought of the Enlightenment. For a theory of the Enlightenment I consider as reference the exposition of Cassirer, "The Philosophy of the Enlightenment ". As reference texts of the Hegelian philosophy I follow principally passages from "The Phenomenology of Spirit" and "Glauben und Wissen".

the article explores the putatively non-metaphysical – non-voluntarist, and even non-causal – concept of freedom outlined in Hegel’s work and discusses its influential interpretation by robert Pippin as an ‘essentially practical’ concept. I argue that Hegel’s affirmation of freedom must be distinguished from that of Kant and Fichte, since it does not rely on a prior understanding of self-consciousness as an originally teleological relation and it has not the nature of a claim ‘from a practical point of view’.
