The Research of Seismic Recognition Techniques for Gas Reservoir Shang Yong_sheng(Geophysics) Directed by Yang Chang-chun Abstract Gas reservior is one of the most important nature resources. Someone forecast that the output will exceed crude oil in 2015 and become the largest energy source. Recently, more and more gas reservior are discovered as the oil field and gas filed exploration go deep into development. Although the gas proved reserves rise greatly the explorative degree of natural gas resource in our country is still very low. The potential of gas exploration is very great and our task is so hard. How to recognise and discover new gas reservoir is the first task based on the great gas reservior resources foreground. the gas reservior in different oil and gas field have its special gas generation, reservoiring, physical property conditions. However,it may have the same geophysical characters. So,it is very important to analyse, research, summarizing the geophysical characters of the gas reservior and make use of the characters to identify the gas layer effectively. This paper start with modeling, and it discuss the geophysical characters of the gas reservior response. It analyse the seismical wave characters of the gas reservoir. Furthermore, it summarize the method of using the seismica profile to identify the gas reservior directly. The paper discuss the research of extracting diffraction wave for mass diffraction wave grow at the edge of the gas reservoir at the seismic section. Making use of the technique of extracting diffraction wave to identify the gas reservior is the first experiment of the gas reservoir prediction technique. The avo technology is a new geophysical method. From the pre-stack analysis, this paper discuss the technique of using the rich information to identify the gas reservoir. Based on the case study of the Qidam basin and the Hailaer basin it discuss the method of predicating gas reservoir using pre-stack information. It include pre-stack amplitude preserve process, AVO modeling, fluid replacement technique, AVO analysis and interpretation technique. The paper summarize a gas reservoir prediction procedure focusing on the pre-stack information. The seismic wave will cause great attenuation when it pass through the gas layer and the high frequency component loss. This paper discuss the technique of extracting seismic attributes to represent the attenuation degree of seismica wave. Based on the attenuation attributes,it does the research of the gas reservor identification and prediction. At last, the paper discuss the method of calculating the azimuthal anisotropy to predict the fracture reservoir. Hydrochemistry, isotope and CFCs were used to determine groundwater transport in the eastern part of the Guanzhong Basin. In this paper, we systematically collected water samples and measured major ions, 2H-18O and CFCs in surface water and shallow groundwater. Groundwater in this region can be divided into three categories based on total dissolved solids (TDS): fresh water with TDS < 1g/L, brackish water with TDS between 1~3g/L, and saline water with TDS > 3g/L. Saline water is mainly located in the north of the Wei River, and saline groundwater is not in the south. Tributaries in the south of the Wei River and underlain groundwater had similar 2H-18O values, indicating a close hydraulic connection between them. Tributaries in the north of the Wei River characterized certain extent of evaporation, and 2H-18O values deviated to a differing extent between surface water and groundwater, indicating that surface water in the north bank of the Wei River has little hydraulic connection with underlain groundwater. The CFCs age of groundwater from the piedmont recharge area was young, and became older toward the Wei River valley. Vertically, the CFCs age of groundwater increased with well depth. The shallow groundwater is mainly composed of young water with ages < 60 years and old water with ages > 60 years. Young water is in a larger proportion. The NO3-N concentration positively correlates with the CFC-12 concentration in the groundwater, which indicates that young water is subjected to be contaminated. For many applications of emotion recognition, such as virtual agents, the system must select responses while the user is speaking. This requires reliable on-line recognition of the user’s affect. However most emotion recognition systems are based on turnwise processing. We present a novel approach to on-line emotion recognition from speech using Long Short-Term Memory Recurrent Neural Networks. Emotion is recognised frame-wise in a two-dimensional valence-activation continuum. In contrast to current state-of-the-art approaches, recognition is performed on low-level signal frames, similar to those used for speech recognition. No statistical functionals are applied to low-level feature contours. Framing at a higher level is therefore unnecessary and regression outputs can be produced in real-time for every low-level input frame. We also investigate the benefits of including linguistic features on the signal frame level obtained by a keyword spotter.

Many reviews have been written on protein kinase B/Akt focusing on its history dating back from the isolation of the Akt8 transforming murine leukemia virus by Staal in 1977, to the co-discovery of the Akt1 gene by the three groups in 1991 (reviewed in 7). There are currently over 22,000 publications in the PubMed database with "Akt" as a keyword - these publications describe a wealth of diverse data on the physiological functions of Akt isoforms. Many of these publications describe roles of Akt ranging from its requirement for cellular processes such as glucose uptake, cell survival and angiogenesis to roles in diseases such as cancer and ischaemia (22). This review will focus on the evidence for Akt signaling in different kidney cells during diabetes, or diabetic nephropathy (DN).

Latent semantic indexing (LSI) is a technique used for intelligent information retrieval (IR). It can be used as an alternative to traditional keyword matching IR and is attractive in this respect because of its ability to overcome problems with synonymy and polysemy. This study investigates various aspects of LSI: the effect of the Haar wavelet transform (HWT) as a preprocessing step for the singular value decomposition (SVD) in the key stage of the LSI process; and the effect of different threshold types in the HWT on the search results. The developed method allows the visualisation and processing of the term document matrix, generated in the LSI process, using HWT. The results have shown that precision can be increased by applying the HWT as a preprocessing step, with better results for hard thresholding than soft thresholding, whereas standard SVD-based LSI remains the most effective way of searching in terms of recall value.

As an important type of spatial keyword query, the m-closest keywords (mCK) query finds a group of objects such that they cover all query keywords and have the smallest diameter, which is defined as the largest distance between any pair of objects in the group. The query is useful in many applications such as detecting locations of web resources. However, the existing work does not study the intractability of this problem and only provides exact algorithms, which are computationally expensive.
In this paper, we prove that the problem of answering mCK queries is NP-hard. We first devise a greedy algorithm that has an approximation ratio of 2. Then, we observe that an mCK query can be approximately answered by finding the circle with the smallest diameter that encloses a group of objects together covering all query keywords. We prove that the group enclosed in the circle can answer the mCK query with an approximation ratio of 2 over 3. Based on this, we develop an algorithm for finding such a circle exactly, which has a high time complexity. To improve efficiency, we propose another two algorithms that find such a circle approximately, with a ratio of 2 over √3 + ε. Finally, we propose an exact algorithm that utilizes the group found by the 2 over √3 + ε)-approximation algorithm to obtain the optimal group. We conduct extensive experiments using real-life datasets. The experimental results offer insights into both efficiency and accuracy of the proposed approximation algorithms, and the results also demonstrate that our exact algorithm outperforms the best known algorithm by an order of magnitude.

The preferences of users are important in route search and planning. For example, when a user plans a trip within a city, their preferences can be expressed as keywords shopping mall, restaurant, and museum, with weights 0.5, 0.4, and 0.1, respectively. The resulting route should best satisfy their weighted preferences. In this paper, we take into account the weighted user preferences in route search, and present a keyword coverage problem, which finds an optimal route from a source location to a target location such that the keyword coverage is optimized and that the budget score satisfies a specified constraint. We prove that this problem is NP-hard. To solve this complex problem, we pro- pose an optimal route search based on an A* variant for which we have defined an admissible heuristic function. The experiments conducted on real-world datasets demonstrate both the efficiency and accu- racy of our proposed algorithms.

We address the problem of mining interesting phrases from subsets of a text corpus where the subset is specified using a set of features such as keywords that form a query. Previous algorithms for the problem have proposed solutions that involve sifting through a phrase dictionary based index or a document-based index where the solution is linear in either the phrase dictionary size or the size of the document subset. We propose the usage of an independence assumption between query keywords given the top correlated phrases, wherein the pre-processing could be reduced to discovering phrases from among the top phrases per each feature in the query. We then outline an indexing mechanism where per-keyword phrase lists are stored either in disk or memory, so that popular aggregation algorithms such as No Random Access and Sort-merge Join may be adapted to do the scoring at real-time to identify the top interesting phrases. Though such an approach is expected to be approximate, we empirically illustrate that very high accuracies (of over 90%) are achieved against the results of exact algorithms. Due to the simplified list-aggregation, we are also able to provide response times that are orders of magnitude better than state-of-the-art algorithms. Interestingly, our disk-based approach outperforms the in-memory baselines by up to hundred times and sometimes more, confirming the superiority of the proposed method.

Online forums are becoming a popular way of finding useful
information on the web. Search over forums for existing discussion
threads so far is limited to keyword-based search due
to the minimal effort required on part of the users. However,
it is often not possible to capture all the relevant context in a
complex query using a small number of keywords. Examplebased
search that retrieves similar discussion threads given
one exemplary thread is an alternate approach that can help
the user provide richer context and vastly improve forum
search results. In this paper, we address the problem of
finding similar threads to a given thread. Towards this, we
propose a novel methodology to estimate similarity between
discussion threads. Our method exploits the thread structure
to decompose threads in to set of weighted overlapping
components. It then estimates pairwise thread similarities
by quantifying how well the information in the threads are
mutually contained within each other using lexical similarities
between their underlying components. We compare our
proposed methods on real datasets against state-of-the-art
thread retrieval mechanisms wherein we illustrate that our
techniques outperform others by large margins on popular
retrieval evaluation measures such as NDCG, MAP, Precision@k
and MRR. In particular, consistent improvements of
up to 10% are observed on all evaluation measures

O aquecimento do sistema climático é inequívoco e a influência humana é clara.

The integration of growing amounts of distributed generation in power systems, namely at distribution networks level, has been fostered by energy policies in several countries around the world, including in Europe. This intensive integration of distributed, non-dispatchable, and natural sources based generation (including wind power) has caused several changes in the operation and planning of power systems and of electricity markets. Sometimes the available non-dispatchable generation is higher than the demand. This generation must be used; otherwise it is wasted if not stored or used to supply additional demand. New policies and market rules, as well as new players, are needed in order to competitively integrate all the resources. The methodology proposed in this paper aims at the maximization of the social welfare in a distribution network operated by a virtual power player that aggregates and manages the available energy resources. When facing a situation of excessive non-dispatchable generation, including wind power, real time pricing is applied in order to induce the increase of consumption so that wind curtailment is minimized. This method is especially useful when actual and day-ahead resources forecast differ significantly. The distribution network characteristics and concerns are addressed by including the network constraints in the optimization model. The proposed methodology has been implemented in GAMS optimization tool and its application is illustrated in this paper using a real 937-bus distribution network with 20.310 consumers and 548 distributed generators, some of them non-dispatchable and with must take contracts. The implemented scenario corresponds to a real day in Portuguese power system.
