[EU]Proiektu honen helburua sare ezberdinetan algoritmo metaheuristikoen erabileraren bitartez bideratze arazoak ebaztea eta aztertzea da. Helburu honetarako erabiliko diren algoritmoak Coral Reefs Optimization eta Firefly Algorithm dira. Bi algoritmoak Python erabiliz inplementatuko dira, baita sareak simulatzen dituen programa ere. Modu honetan, algoritmo bakoitzaren gaitasuna aztertuko da sareko bi punturen arteko bide bideragarri bat, zeinek ezarritako murrizketak betetzen dituen, aurkitzeko; prozesu hau ausaz sortutako simulatutako sare batean oinarrituz garatuko da. Honen bitartez, arazo honen ebazpenerako algoritmo bakoitza egokia den eta bietariko zein den egokiena ondorioztatu ahalko da.

Análisis de la Distribución Comercial del Sector Textil

Este trabajo está centrado en el análisis de la distribución comercial del sector textil español. Para ello, en primer lugar, estudiaremos la evolución y los cambios más relevantes que se han producido en torno al sector textil en general, centrándonos posteriormente más detenidamente en cuestiones de distribución. Veremos cuáles han sido las principales causas que han propiciado al cambio tan veloz de dicho sector y mediante diferentes datos podremos ver variaciones muy significativas, así como la creación de nuevos modelos de negocio adaptados tanto al mercado como al consumidor de hoy en día. Con ello, llegaremos a la conclusión de que nos encontramos ante un sector el cual en los últimos años ha dado un giro prácticamente de 360º y que dadas tanto las circunstancias del mercado como las de los consumidores, la adaptación y la creación de nuevas formas comerciales han sido imprescindibles para que las empresas puedan seguir compitiendo en este sector.

La generalización del sistema foral

En España existen dos modelos de financiación autonómica; el sistema común y el sistema foral. Éste último, por como se ha definido el Cupo, genera más recursos per cápita que el sistema común y además da mayor capacidad para modificar algunos impuestos. En este trabajo, se analizará si las comunidades autónomas de régimen común resultarían beneficiadas o no con el sistema foral con los datos del año 2011. Para ello se calculan los recursos que tendría cada Comunidad Autónoma de régimen común si tuviera el sistema foral. Esto es, si recaudara todos los impuestos que actualmente recauda el Estado y pagara un Cupo. Estos recursos se comparan con los que obtiene ahora cada Comunidad Autónoma con el sistema común. Los resultados demuestran que las comunidades autónomas más ricas se beneficiarían con el sistema foral, mientras que las pobres saldrían perjudicadas. [ES]

Island life in the Cretaceous - faunal composition, biogeography, evolution, and extinction of land-living vertebrates on the Late Cretaceous European archipelago

The Late Cretaceous was a time of tremendous global change, as the final stages of the Age of Dinosaurs were shaped by climate and sea level fluctuations and witness to marked paleogeographic and faunal changes, before the end-Cretaceous bolide impact. The terrestrial fossil record of Late Cretaceous Europe is becoming increasingly better understood, based largely on intensive fieldwork over the past two decades, promising new insights into latest Cretaceous faunal evolution. We review the terrestrial Late Cretaceous record from Europe and discuss its importance for understanding the paleogeography, ecology, evolution, and extinction of land-dwelling vertebrates. We review the major Late Cretaceous faunas from Austria, Hungary, France, Spain, Portugal, and Romania, as well as more fragmentary records from elsewhere in Europe. We discuss the paleogeographic background and history of assembly of these faunas, and argue that they are comprised of an endemic 'core' supplemented with various immigration waves. These faunas lived on an island archipelago, and we describe how this insular setting led to ecological peculiarities such as low diversity, a preponderance of primitive taxa, and marked changes in morphology (particularly body size dwarfing). We conclude by discussing the importance of the European record in understanding the end-Cretaceous extinction and show that there is no clear evidence that dinosaurs or other groups were undergoing long-term declines in Europe prior to the bolide impact.

Análisis de la economía del País Vasco

[ES] El estado económico mundial y, en especial, el local es algo totalmente necesario de conocer para nuestra vida diaria. Actualmente, estamos atravesando una crisis mundial que repercute directamente en tener una idea genérica de los hechos pasados para así poder aprender y prevenir errores anteriores. En el siguiente trabajo vamos a estudiar la economía del País Vasco desde finales del siglo XVIII hasta los últimos datos registrados a 31 de diciembre de 2014. Estos últimos datos nos muestran una mejoría en las tasas económicas registradas, lo cual nos ayuda a mirar hacia el futuro de una manera más optimista.

Analysis and evaluation of public health policy in Cuba : progress on millennium development goals

[EN] The main objective of this project is to analyze Cuban public health policy and the Millennium Development Goals, especially those linked to the issue of health, presenting their potential and strengths with a well-defined time horizon (2000-2015). The Millennium Development Goals are the international consensus on development and was signed as an international minimum agreement, with which began the century. The MDGs promote various goals and targets, with the corresponding monitoring indicators, which should be achieved by all countries for the present year. Health is an area that is at the center of the Millennium Development Goals, which reinforce each other to get a true human development itself. The research was done through theoretical frameworks of social production of health and disease, social justice and the power structure. A retrospective analysis of Cuban economic and social context is performed in order to study whether health-related MDGs are likely to be completed by the deadline on the island and likewise, the main parameters related to health compared with those of the neighboring countries in the Americas.

Entrepreneurship in the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU)

Currently entrepreneurship is a basic pillar in the socioeconomic area of any country since it contributes to attain the government objectives of job creation and boost of dynamism and competitiveness of the business network. These aspects are even more crucial nowadays due to the global economic crisis. This paper attempts to provide some new insights about the scientific field entrepreneurship in the Basque Country analyzing some aspects related to the entrepreneurial activity, the profile of the entrepreneur and the characteristics of the entrepreneurial businesses. It also aims to provide empirical evidence that proves the good features of the spin-offs and TBF groups as job creators, technology transferors to the society and important actors in the growth and development of the economies for both the business network and its surrounding society. To this aim, a descriptive study has been performed of the firms belonging to the Zitek Program of Bizkaia Campus of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

Europako krisia: austeritatea eta alternatibak

Europa 2008tik jasaten ari den krisi ekonomikoaren ondorioz, zor publikoaren krisi larria sortu da zenbait estatutan. Kinka larri honetatik irteteko, Europar Batasunak troikaren adostasunarekin hartu duen irtenbidea, austeritatearena izan da, baina ez dirudi konponbide hau egokia denik, oztopo handia delako estatu askoren hazkunde ekonomikorako. Lan honetan zehar, austeritate politikaren alternatibak aztertuko ditugu, zenbait ekonomialari ospetsuren irtenbideetan oinarrituta.

Euskal Herriko Ekonomi Egitura

Dokumentu honetan Euskadiko Ekonomiaren Egituraz hitz egingo dugu, baina kontzeptu berezi batean fokatuta: berrikuntza. Lehenik XVII, XVIII eta XIX. mendeetan zehar Euskadiko Ekonomiaren Egiturak jasan dituen aldaketak errepasatuko ditugu, Euskadiko ekonomian eman ziren aldaketarik garrantzitsuenak aipatuz eta Euskadiko Ekonomiaren Egitura urte horietan aztertuz. Geroago, XX. mendea sakonki aztertuko dugu, mende oso garrantzitsua izan baitzen euskal ekonomiarentzat eta denboran hurbilen daukaguna delako. Jarraian XXI. mendeko lehen urteetan euskal ekonomian eman diren gora beherak aztertuko ditugu. Eta azkenik, lehen aipatu dugun moduan, berrikuntzaren kontzeptuan murgilduko gara. Euskal ekonomiak kontzeptu honetara zelan moldatu den aztertuko dugu, honek ekonomian izan dituen ondorioak eta etorkizuna zelakoa izango den hausnartzen saiatuko gara. Azken zati honekin batera enpresa zehatz baten kasua aztertuko dugu (Graphenea enpresa), Euskadiko Ekonomiaren Egiturak azken urteetan izan dituen aldaketek enpresa baten izan ditzaketen ondorioak aztertu ahal izateko. Honekin batera, lan honetan zehar aipatuko ditugun ezaugarri ezberdinak merkatuan dagoen enpresa batekin aztertzea lortu nahi dugu, kasu praktiko honetaz baliatuz.
