Pré-sal e o novo marco regulatório: um estudo sobre o fundo social

This work intends to discuss about the current happenings in oil sector, and how the recent discovery of huge oil reserves on the layer known as Pre-Sal can positively transform in the socioeconomic context, the country. The impact of this huge quantity of natural resources it depends on the legislative policies adopted for the exploration and production (E & P) in the Pre-Salt layer, and the way in which laws are imposed for distribution of such resources. Therefore, it is made a shortly background of the laws from oil exploration, production and distribution, since the monopoly of Petrobras, to nowadays. To this end, an analysis is performed about the Oil Law, and about the possible legislative changes with the new Regulatory Framework. This monograph attempts to prove, based on historical data, socioeconomic facts, and international experiences, using either comparative statistical, that with the discovery in the Pre-Salt area, the best way to optimize the use of these resources, mainly the reduction of social inequality and economic contrasts, a legacy from colonization, would directly those recipes to a National Development Fund, the Social Fund, established by law for the new Regulatory Framework

Imunocastração e ractopamina na qualidade de lombos suínos processados com sal e tripolifosfato

The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of immunocastration and supplementation with ractopamine in the quality of pork loin enhanced with salt and sodium tripolyphosphate. Treatments consisted of the sexual condition of the swine (females, physically castrated and immunocastrated males) and supplementation or not with ractopamine in finishing diet. The loins subjected to the enhancement with sodium tripolyphosphate and salt were evaluated as to physical-chemical, microbiological, and sensory parameters. There was no interaction between sexual condition and ractopamine on fresh pork loin characteristics. The addition of ractopamine in the diet increased the shear force in fresh loins. There was also no effect of sexual condition nor of ractopamine in purge loss and loin protein content. Loins of immunocastrated animals had less weight loss by cooking, whereas loins of animals non-supplemented with ractopamine showed higher moisture than those supplemented. Enhancement decreases the shear force of the cuts, which was lower in the immunocastrated animals without ractopamine supplementation. Immunocastration provided pork loins with high a* and L* values. Differences in the appearance and texture of pork loins, regardless of sexual condition and ractopamine, are not perceived by consumers, showing that enhancement standardizes the cuts.

Determinação de atividade de água, umidade e sal em peixes salgados e secos importados

Brazil is a major importer in the world salted fish trade. The sale of these products must meet the established standards, based mainly on the salt and moisture levels. The aim of this study was to analyze the salt and moisture levels in imported Atlantic cod and Pacific cod, and in the dried salted fish Ling, Zarbo and Saithe, which are not classified as cod since they do not belong to the genus Gadus. The water activity was also analyzed, which could be a useful parameter to determine the quality of salted fish.The results showed that the legal limits for salt were much lower than the values found in the analyses. The moisture contents established for the category of salted fish, as determined by the Portuguese legislation, were more reliable. We suggest the inclusion of the water activity as a parameter for the evaluation of these products.

Avaliação de ICP OES com configuração axial ou radial para determinação de iodo em sal de cozinha

The performance of inductively-coupled plasma optical emission spectrometers with axial and radial views for determination of iodine in table salt was evaluated. Interference and memory effects in nitric acid and water-soluble tertiary amines (CFA-C) media were studied. Based on a factorial experiment, one optimum instrument operational condition for axial configuration, and two optima conditions for radial configuration was established. The ICP OES with axial view was 5-fold more sensitive than the radial view. Both matrix matching and standard addition methods were used for iodine quantification and for most samples, both strategies of calibration led to similar results. Recoveries ranged from 104 to 114%.

Fotodegradação de compósitos de poliestireno/argila montmorilonita: efeito do tipo de argila e presença de sal

Compósitos de poliestireno/montmorilonita (PS/MMT) contendo 2,5% em peso de argila foram preparados com dois tipos de argila modificada com sais quaternários de amônio. Também foram preparadas amostras do PS + sal quaternário de amônio, utilizando-se proporção de sal semelhante à usada na modificação da argila. Todas as amostras foram expostas à radiação UV por períodos de até 12 semanas, e em seguida foram realizados testes para avaliar as modificações em massa molar, propriedades mecânicas (tração e impacto), estrutura química (FTIR) e superfície de fratura (MEV) dessas amostras. Os resultados mostraram que compostos metálicos existentes na argila catalisam o processo fotodegradativo do PS e a presença isolada do sal não altera significativamente o comportamento do PS frente à radiação UV.

Transacciones, delegación o unilateralidad. Un análisis de los equilibrios de poder en las relaciones ejecutivo-legislativo durante los primeros gobiernos de Álvaro Uribe en Colombia y Carlos Saúl Menem en Argentina.

El presente trabajo analiza las relaciones entre poder ejecutivo y legislativo en los sistemas presidenciales, concentrándose específicamente en los casos de los primeros gobiernos de Álvaro Uribe Vélez en Colombia [2002-2006] y de Carlos Saúl Menem en Argentina [1989-1995]. Lo hace desde de una perspectiva analítica denominada neomadisoniana. Ubicada bajo el paraguas del neoinstitucionalismo, ésta utiliza como punto de partida el pensamiento de los padres fundadores de la democracia americana, particularmente el de James Madison, concentrándose en el estudio de como los arreglos institucionales constriñen el comportamiento de los actores a través del establecimiento de incentivos mediante los que se distribuyen distintos recursos de poder, proporcionando, además, una estructura estable, aunque no necesariamente eficiente, para la interacción humana. De este modo, el enfoque posee un particular interés por el análisis de la organización de los gobiernos, ya sea en términos de jerarquía o de transacciones entre actores instituciones [poderes ejecutivo y legislativo] que, de acuerdo al caso, gozan de distintos niveles de simetría y, consecuentemente, de capacidad de impactar sobre el proceso de toma de decisiones. Dentro de este marco, se intentarán identificar en el análisis de los casos patrones de regularidad y diferencia en relación a las características asumidas en el proceso de separación de poderes y el efecto que ejercen sobre él los poderes constitucionales y partidarios de los presidentes.

Proposta di sottotitolaggio del cortometraggio di animazione “Españistán” di Aleix Saló

Questo elaborato si basa sulla tecnica della sottotitolazione interlinguistica e si sviluppa, in particolare, attorno al commento della mia proposta di sottotitolazione del cortometraggio spagnolo di animazione “Españistán. De la Burbuja Inmobiliaria a la Crisis” di Aleix Saló (Spagna, 2011). Si tratta di un corto animato che, in sei minuti e mezzo, riassume in chiave umoristica l’evolversi della crisi economica spagnola nell’arco dell’ultimo decennio. L’elaborato seguirà il seguente schema: nel primo capitolo si spiegherà chi è Aleix Saló e quali sono le sue opere principali, oltre che la sua ideologia. In seguito, nel capitolo 2, si presenterà brevemente la tecnica della sottotitolazione interlinguistica, illustrandone le caratteristiche principali e le strategie di cui si avvale. Infine, nel capitolo 3, dopo un breve riassunto dei contenuti di Españistán, si procederà ad analizzare più specificamente i problemi affrontati durante la sottotitolazione del cortometraggio, motivando le soluzioni adottate.
