Las crónicas de Sancho IV: un indicio de la producción cronística durante los “oscuros” años posteriores a la muerte de Alfonso X

Resumen: La muerte de Alfonso X no significó el cese total de la actividad historiográfica castellana, sino más bien su continuación en una diversidad mayor de centros de producción, no necesariamente impulsados por una figura regia. Si bien hoy no existen testimonios de trabajos cronísticos del período que va desde 1284 hasta mediados del siglo XIII en donde se haga referencia a los reinados de Alfonso X, Sancho IV y Fernando IV, tenemos al menos cuatro crónicas distintas que refieren los hechos ocurridos en esos años, cuyas fuentes deberían haberse redactado en el lapso de tiempo mencionado: la Crónica de tres reyes, la Crónica de los reyes de Castilla de Jofré de Loaysa, la *Historia hasta 1288 dialogada, y la versión que transmite el manuscrito 1342 de la Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid (N3) que Catalán llama Historia en décadas. La enorme diferencia que existe entre estas obras vuelve discutible cualquier aseveración que pretenda establecer una relación genealógica entre unas y otras, lo cual nos obliga a pensar en la existencia de una abundante documentación preexistente en la que los autores se habrían basado para redactar textos que ostensiblemente develan, en un trabajo comparativo que el presente trabajo pretende realizar, orientaciones políticas diversas

Caracterización florística y condición actual del arbolado urbano del parque Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores de la ciudad de Managua

El presente trabajo se realizó en el parque Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores de la ciudad de Managua. El propósito del estudio fue realizar una descripción florística y caracterización de la condición silvicultural de los árboles, que permita valorar el estado actual en que se encuentra la vegetación arbórea. La metodología utilizada fue el diseño y aplicación del inventario forestal censo, evaluando todos los árboles mayores de 10 cm de diámetro, incluyendo palmeras. Las variables medidas fueron: especies, diámetro de fuste, diámetro de copa, estado de la copa, raíces al descubierto, interferencia con cables eléctricos, daños mecánicos, requerimiento de manejo. En la composición florística se encontraron 778 árboles distribuidos en 33 especies y 17 familias, la especie más representativa fue el Tabebuia rosea con el 28%, y Manguifera indica 9 %, el 84 % de los individuos presentan diámetro de fuste menores de 40 cm, 78% diámetro de copa menores a 10 m, 56% se ubican en categorías de altura de 8 a <12 m, 69% presentó copa co mpleta, 51% no presentaron raíces al descubierto, el 79% no interfieren con cables eléctricos, el 85% presento daños mecánicos como heridas, quiebres de ramas y huecos, 62% de los árboles se consideran en buena condiciones, y el 94% requieren podas sanitarias y de formación. Con base a las condiciones silviculturales encontradas se dan algunas recomendaciones para el mejoramiento estético de los árboles del parque.

Afonso de Ulloa, escritor espanhol, nasceu em Zamora na primeira metade do século XVl e morreu em Veneza, Itália, em 1580. Filho de Francisco de Ulloa, oficial que esteve na África com Carlos V, seguiu também a carreira das armas, estabelecendo-se depois em Veneza. Desempenhou várias missões diplomáticas, escreveu muitas obras e traduziu para o italiano, língua que conhecia tanto quanto a materna, autores espanhóis e portugueses. Quanto à obra Vita, et fatti dell' invitissimo imperatore Carlo Qvinto.. . sabe-se que foi pela primeira vez impressa em Veneza em 1560 por Vincenzo Valgrisio e que foi muitas vezes reeditada. Salvo pela época, a edição supra referenciada não oferece grande interesse artístico, mas há uma interessante gravura com a efígie de Carlos V.

South & West Cumberland Fisheries Advisory Committee 17th October, 1977

This is the report from the South & West Cumberland Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 17th October, 1977. It covers fisheries income and expenditure, licence duties, and information on the River Marron at Lostrigg Beck in connection with opencast coal workings in the area. It also looks at the proposal for the development of the Eskett Quarries and the likely effect on the River Ehen, and the possible development of Rivers Waver and Wampool as a sea trout fishery. The report for that covers the physical descriptions of the catchments, abstractions, discharges, biological aspects, chemical aspects and the present situation regarding fisheries. Also included is the report by the area fisheries officer on fisheries activities which includes information on river improvement works on the River Calder, Branthwaite Weir Fish Pass, a fish kill on the tributary of the River Calder, stock numbers, and an update on Holmwrangle hatchery. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

Lune, Wyre & Furness Fisheries Advisory Committee 17th January, 1977.

This is the report from the Lune, Wyre and Furness Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 17th January, 1977. The report contains sections on angling information on the River Lune, fisheries activities, fish stocking, eel fishing in estuarial waters, and Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis which highlights its prevention on imports of salmonid fish and ova. The section on fisheries activities includes salmon and sea trout propagation in Middleton hatchery; fishing conditions/monitoring; and a proposed fish counter in the River Wyre. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

This is the report from the Eden and District Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 17th October, 1978. It covers information on fisheries income and expenditure, the study of salmon propagation in England and Wales, work on the future programme of fisheries work and keep nets. It also covers the report by the area fisheries officer on fishing activities including river conditions and fishing for salmon, sea trout, brown trout, and coarse fish, and an update on Holmwrangle hatchery. The report also looks at stocking numbers of salmon and sea trout in various rivers, predator counts for various rivers, biological work and fish disease. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

This is the report from the Mersey and Weaver Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 17th January, 1979. This is the report from the South Lancashire Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 17th October 1979. The report contains the minutes of the last meeting along with the minutes of the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, and a brief mention of Stocks Reservoir.
