The changes occurring in Brazilian agriculture, with the inclusion of agro-industrial activities in your mode of production, must be analyzed to verify the changes in the behavior of territorial dynamics. Through changing the Rural Complex, traditional for the Agroindustrial Complex tightly integrated with trade and industry brought many consequences for the rural population, with regard to employment. Understanding this transformation capitalist the field is needed to analyze the actors involved in this process and the policies adopted for the expansion of sugar and ethanol activity in the State of São Paulo and the consequences for the spatial organization. The expansion of cane production areas were governed by the Institute of Sugar and Alcohol (IAA), the National Alcohol Program (PROÁLCOOL) Development Plan for the West of São Paulo - PRO-WEST and Expansion Program for the production of Canavicultura for production of fuel for the State of São Paulo (PROCANA). The occupation of these agroindustrial facilities in rural spaces contextualized by territorialization of the rural complex, in that sense, understanding these concepts is a key part development in the research. therefore, are concepts of fundamental importance to geographical science, and interpreting their function and construction in rural spaces

Organizational change is occurring in the Brazilian agribusiness from sugar cane in recent decades. Aspects of management in this sector are being changed due to the importance of its products, especially ethanol and electricity. It is observed in the literature a lack of quantitative studies in this Brazilian sector, particularly the selection of sugarcane varieties for planting. This study proposes the use of Goal Programming (GP) with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to select efficient varieties of sugarcane for planting in a sugar and ethanol milling company. The study allowed the identification of efficient sugarcane varieties. This way, it helped the company to make more reliable decisions, favoring the increase of productivity

Análise ambiental do comércio bilateral Brasil - China

A estrutura do comércio bilateral entre o Brasil e a República Popular da China - China alterou-se ao longo das décadas de 1990 e 2000 e dos anos 2010 e 2011, que correspondem ao período de análise. Os indicadores monetários e físicos aqui utilizados sugerem que essa relação bilateral de comércio apresenta impacto negativo sobre o meio ambiente e uma tendência exponencial deste impacto. Os indicadores físicos parecem permitir uma extrapolação maior do que os monetários: apesar da China estar contribuindo com uma parcela maior com as mudanças climáticas - maior valor absoluto de emissão de CO2 das exportações -, o Brasil está contribuindo proporcionalmente mais do que aquele país para a insustentabilidade global. Assim, a dinâmica dessa estrutura aponta para aumento da vulnerabilidade do setor exportador brasileiro, tanto no aspecto ambiental como no tecnológico, fator primordial para minimização do impacto sobre o ecossistema local e global

Uso de algoritmos genéticos na otimização do sistema de coleta do palhiço de cana-de-açúcar

The Brazilian government has convinced the world that ethanol deriving from sugar cane is a promissory means of sustainable fuel for vehicles. There is a great growth of ex vehicles , i.e, run both by ethanol and gasoline, due to competent automotive industries and e cient alcohol production technology. In 2009 and 2010 the ethanol production was 25.7 billion liters and 53.8% of sugar cane production was destined to alcohol production. Nevertheless, the sugar production also derived from sugar cane should increase in 2011. Brazil produced 33 million tons of sugar in the last harvest. With sugar cane on the rise production is arising new environmental problems. The harvest using mechanized cut besides improving the logistic transportation system leaves the generating residue in the eld. This residue is a mixture of straw, leavings and scrap of sugar cane named sugar cane crop residue and corresponds to 30% of biomass and can be burned and produce electricity by cogeneration. But the transport the sugar cane crop from the eld is expensive due costs involved in the transport system. This work aims to propose a formulation for the bales collecting problem from sugar cane eld to mill that minimize the costs involved in the transport system. The computational tests use the C++ language and an algorithm based on genetic algorithms techniques

Comércio internacional e desenvolvimento econômico: relações bilaterais Brasil-China, no período 2000-2011

Atualmente a China é um ator essencial do cenário econômico mundial, sendo também um grande demandante de matérias primas para manter seu acelerado crescimento, resultando assim em importante e estratégico para a região latinoamericana, sobretudo, por ser um grande comprador. Por sua importância econômica, estratégica e demográfica a China se destaca em relação à maioria dos países do mundo sendo não apenas um ator chave, responsável por grandes mudanças ocorridas no nível e estrutura da demanda mundial, mas também importante fonte de recursos financeiros para manter os equilíbrios internacionais. Através da discussão das relações de comércio entre Brasil e China buscamos analisar os principais resultados em termos econômicos e sociais, principalmente a atuação do Brasil enquanto ator global dado sua importância crescente na dinâmica mundial. A intenção desta pesquisa é entender as dimensões da relação com o país asiático, a partir do posicionamento do Brasil como um dos principais parceiros comerciais de China, sobretudo como exportador de produtos primários. Caracterização e mapeamento da cultura da cana-de-açúcar no município de Rio Claro (SP) por meio de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto e sistemas de informações geográficas

This paper discusses about the use of remote sensing image and processing digital images tools for mapping and assessing the effect on the biomass of the culture of sugar cane in the city of Rio Claro. We used satellite images from CBERS in the passages of 19/04/2009 and 23/09/08, which correspond respectively to the stages where the sugar cane appeared in growing and adult pre-harvest stage. In these images, we applied procedures of digital processing, as the application of the procedures for extending linear contrast, radiometric normalization, Normalized Vegetation Index (NDVI) and pixel by pixel classification by ISOSEG through of the software SPRING. As a result we obtained mapping of the distribution and development stages of the culture of sugar cane in the city of Rio Claro and the mapping of the existing biomass of this culture, showing that the method used to assess the relative effect on biomass in culture of sugar cane was efficient, and that images of low-medium resolution are not the most suitable for the mapping of this culture

Conduto, este comércio bilateral encontra entraves para seu desenvolvimento causados principalmente pela União Europeia, tais como barreiras não tarifárias (barreiras técnicas, sanitárias, fitossanitárias etc) além de exigências acerca de produtos exportados para o mercado europeu por países terceiros, como, por exemplo, medidas de rastreabilidade, certificação, rotulagem e conformidade com regras europeias. The collective purchases translate into new business strategies that so far are poorly studied, but they have modifyied considerably the forms of consumption through the consumers individualisation, which causes changes in society's routine. The analysis of the theme was performed by study cases of collective shopping places in the city of Campinas, country of the state of São Paulo, and on its influence in the metropolitan area, which intented to understand, through custumers interviews, the contradictions and peculiarities of this service that has increased each day more . For this purpose, the research methodology is focused on the consumer , that's because the process of productive change tied to forms of trade and distribution of goods have been transforming social values considerably, based increasingly on impulsive consumming . Thus, to understand how the electronic commerce and more specifically the collective shopping websites works, it's necessary to examine the forms of commerce and the consumer's behavior in order to explain the city organization and the contradictions of the geographic space
