��ndice de an��lise ambiental simplificado na avalia����o de impactos nos recursos h��dricos da bacia hidrogr��fica do Ribeir��o do Meio, Leme, S��o Paulo, Brasil

This study evaluated environmental impacts at Meio Creek watershed, Leme, Sao Paulo, Brazil. A simplified environmental analysis index was applied correlating land use and occupation (vegetation elimination or modification, wildlife, color, smell, grease, oils, foams, larvae and red worms) with water quality parameters (conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH and temperature). The simplified environmental analysis index showed that 27.8% visited places had a high or worrying environmental impact and 5.6% had a really high impact. As to the results of physical and chemical parameters, pH and conductivity values showed the conditions and standards that water Class 2 and 3 should have. These parameters were not the same for dissolved oxygen levels at most of the analyzed points. Despite the current environmental legislation at federal, state and municipal levels, Leme city does not have an effective environmental plan to control and protect springs and Meio Creek watershed and its tributaries.

As proposi����es te��rico-metodol��gicas para a Educa����o F��sica escolar das d��cadas de 1980 e 1990: antes, agora, e depois?

O objetivo desta pesquisa �� realizar, uma avalia����o cr��tica de algumas das proposi����es te��rico-metodol��gicas para a Educa����o F��sica Escolar elaboradas no Brasil nas d��cadas de 1980 e 1990, a partir do ponto de vista de seus autores. Para tal, foram entrevistados seis autores. Conclui que tais proposi����es continuam sendo importantes na forma����o dos professores, mas precisam ser articuladas com novos conhecimentos e se aproximarem das pr��ticas pedag��gicas concretas.

A rela����o teoria e pr��tica em projetos de educa����o ambiental desenvolvidos em um bairro de Bauru, SP, Brasil

This study examines the relationship between theory and practice that emerges from two Environmental Projects that were carried out in a popular neighborhood of Bauru, SP, . In order to analyze the data, given the diversity of theoretical and practical approaches and concepts in environmental education, we chose as a theoretical foundation critical environmental education. Considering the techniques used in the methodological procedures of qualitative research in education, we elected, as a tool to collect information, content analysis. The results presented in this paper indicate the need to break the dichotomy between form (practice) and content (theory) in the environmental educational process, focusing on the systematized and historically constructed contents. Thus, we consider the environmental education process analyzed involve treating form and content as a dialectic unit.

Comunica����o p��blica, transpar��ncia e pol��ticas p��blicas: avalia����o de informa����es em portais brasileiros de governo

An expansion of the professional field of Public Relations can be seen nowadays, influenced by factors such as the increasing use of information and communications technologies for the dissemination of information on public management and the potential creation of dialogue between government and citizens. Despite this trend, there is still a need for specific knowledge about normative aspects of public communication generated by governments on the internet and its role in the fulfillment of the right to information. This article offers a contribution to fulfill the gap of guidelines and standards for professional performance. It describes the results of empirical research which identified the potential contribution of government web portals of the main cities of S��o Paulo, in the southeastern Brazil, to the strengthening of citizenship, considered in its dimension of exercising the right to information about public policies, particularly those which have an impact on education. The depth and breadth of information were investigated according with twelve categories of evaluation: history; diagnoses; goals; goals; resources and current actions; planned resources and actions; efficiency; effectiveness; impact; cost-effectiveness; user satisfaction; and equity. The data found on the analyzed portals correspond to the average of 11% of which was considered, under the theoretical-methodological context of the research, as information necessary to comprise the full characterization of a public policy in relation to the categories of assessment. Opportunities to improve government web portals were detected, for which we suggest communication management strategies.

As diretrizes curriculares para os cursos de Educa����o F��sica no Brasil: uma breve revis��o cronol��gica e an��lise desse processo sobre as implica����es para a forma����o profissional

The law of Guidelines and Bases for National Education-LDB established the need to ensure at Universities a greater flexibility in the Organization of courses and careers, taking into account the heterogeneity of prior education and training, as well as the expectations and interests of students. Since the deployment of the first courses of Physical Education in Brazil, in the 30 's decade, the formation was only in Degree Course. On a pioneer way, resolution CFE 031987 allowed the Universities could organise their own pedagogical projects and curriculum, allowing even the Bachelor Course contemplating the dynamics of the evolution of the area and encouraging a change in attitudes of professionals. The Bachelor Course, with an offer of disciplines to other areas higher than education, openness also allowed to research, promoting an increasing interaction of the Physical Education with other professions od health. Physical education stands out as interareas instrument in the promotion of health and quality of life of the population. With the regulation of the Profession through the law No. 9696/98, grows the discussion around the definition of professional delimitations in this close relationship with other areas. With the need for a reformulation in teaching projects, Degree and Bachelor Courses, express the new curricular guidelines and resolutions of the MEC, as well as the professional delimitations by CONFEF for each formation. Given these aspects, the objective of the present study was to describe the chronology of such facts and a expose a critical opinion of the authors about the course and consequences of this process.

Mem��rias da educa����o em astronomia no Brasil: recortes a partir das falas de pesquisadores entrevistados sobre o tema

This paper presents a historical retrospective concerning data from a research in Astronomy Education in Brazil, after 1973. It was organized on the basis of the speech analysis of national researchers considered references in this field by their peers. Furthermore, it was elaborated on the basis of other studies from the areas of Science Education, Physics and Astronomy. This historical overview was developed in order to facilitate understanding of the contexts in which the interviewed researchers have developed professionally. Moreover, we attempted to recover the memory of the growing field of research in Astronomy Education in the country. We believe that the history presented can help those trying to understand the past in an attempt to resolve current and future demands.
