Foram realizadas coletas de dados e elaboração de um programa para área. Como resultado desta pesquisa foi elaborado um projeto arquitetônico para a área de intervenção

There is a demand to incorporate the nature in the city in order to meet the wishes of the entire population. The valuation of water, a key component of the quality of the landscape, becomes a key element in this context both for its ecological potential because of their potential for recreational activities. The areas that suffer most impacts are the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs) and this paper will be a weighting on the urban interface - PPA. With the study area the basin of the stream of Limoeiro, in the context of the Friendship Fountain Balneary, especially the source contained between residential neighborhoods Maré Mansa and Parque Imperial, the city of Presidente Prudente and Álvares Machado, Sao Paulo, this paper aims to search and use of knowledge about technologies and techniques of environmental restoration, with emphasis on bioengineering, through an environmental characterization of the basin, with a view the incorporation of nature in the lives of the urban population. The methodology includes: literature review priority issues related to the PPAs, linear parks, relevant environmental legislation, environmental characterization of the watershed of the stream Limoeiro; study of technologies and techniques for environmental remediation of soil bioengineering and implementation of parks linear, development of proposals for the environmental recovery of PPA in the basin of the stream Limoeiro, focusing on emerging... This article aims to approach, under a critical perspective, images about German language and their speakers, presented by Brazilian university students interested in or engaged in learning this language in the first stage of studies. The purpose is to deal with evidences of the occurrence of stereotypical images and to discuss their implications in/for the teaching-learning process, aiming with this study to show the importance of considering and establishing as a relevant goal in the teaching of German, the necessity of a destrangement route or period, through a methodological approach aimed at helping the students in the process of developing intercultural competence. Such discussions are founded in theoretical conceptions related to the notions of other and self, intercultural competence, intercultural approach, as well as in results obtained through an investigation conducted within the field of foreign language (German) learning.

Tratamento da má-oclusão de classe II divisão 1 de Angle, com aparelho de Herbst splint metálico seguido de aparelho fixo, na dentição permanente

The Herbst appliance is currently one of the most used appliances for the correction of Class II division 1 with mandibular retrusion. When used in peak, or just after the peak of growth it can result in some skeletal gain, which is favorable to the correction of anteroposterior discrepancy with effective and stable results. This article aims to report a case of a patient with malocclusion Class II division 1 with mandibular retrusion, associated with maxillary protusion, treated in two stages: with Herbst splint metallic appliance followed by fixed appliance orthodontic treatment.

Habilidades sociais, competência acadêmica e problemas de comportamento em crianças com diferentes níveis de plumbemia

Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar a relação entre diferentes níveis de plumbemia e o repertório de habilidades sociais, problemas de comportamento e competência acadêmica de crianças e adolescentes. Participaram 155 crianças e adolescentes, com idade média de 13,10 anos, pertencentes a três grupos: alta plumbemia (superior a 10μg/dl), baixa plumbemia (inferior a 5μg/dl) e que viviam em ambiente similar, mas livre da contaminação por chumbo (grupo de comparação). Foram utilizados os instrumentos SSRS-BR e o IHSA-Del-Prette, respondidos pelos participantes e seus professores. Identificou-se comprometimento no repertório comportamental, acadêmico e social, associado ao nível de plumbemia. Esses resultados evidenciam os riscos associados à exposição ao chumbo. São discutidas explicações para alguns resultados contraditórios, levantando-se hipóteses e questões para novos estudos.
