Matemática e arte: incursões na interdisciplinaridade

The complex analysis is, in actuality, a fundamental mathematical object, given its applicability to various areas of science. This paper proposes a more interesting intertwining of mathematical content to the Visual Arts, through computer graphics. The presentation of aesthetic standards, using the “domain coloring” for viewing a complex function, shows that algebraic and geometric properties can be “colored” which makes its study more human, contextualized, pleasant and dynamic, leading to greater ability to understand, to absorb and to create concepts. This work shows the contribution to the interdisciplinarity to study of mathematics.

Considerações sobre a morte e o luto na psicanálise

This paper presents the basic trends by which psychoanalytical thought understands the subject of death and mourning: the melancholic identification and the death instinct. The implications of these concepts to the comprehension of death and mourning are discussed, specially showing that the death instinct, differently than a wish to die, must be understood as a traumatic potentiality to the psychic apparatus, which needs to be bound and represented. In this sense, it is argued that the narcissist personality configurations in place on post-modernity lead to violence explosion on the field of culture. One of the results of this process can be traced in the lack of psychic elaboration work of mourning and death, which demonstrate the relevance of the definition of "wide-open death" as a social representation of death nowadays.

A importância de ações estratégicas de gestão de pessoas no manejo do estresse e de estressores ocupacionais

The introducing of new technologies at work contexts forces the contemporary organizations to search new structures and productive processes, as well as new management models, mainly personnel management. A strong pressure by positive results can favour health problems concerning to stress, which is caused by a highly competitive environment; studies reveals that stress is a present reality at organizations nowadays. The presence of stress on workers cause harm to organizations (due to absenteeism increasing, turnover, interpersonal conflicts, etc.) and individuals, whose life quality can be decreased. This text intends to highlight the importance of identifying stress presence on workers and eventual stressors at workplaces, with the objective of, through management strategies, propose interventions guided to promote occupational health and welfare. Identifying eventual stressors at workplaces becomes an essential task, because those signs predispose the stress presence on workers. Therefore, discovering them is a strategic way to preventing and managing of occupational stress. This text also proposes to show some personnel management strategies which can favour the prevention of occupational stressors, as well as interventions on them.

Convergência, jovens digitais e tendências para a recepção radiofônica no século XXI

The paper aims to present a theoretical and applied analysis of the relationship of the young members of Generation Internet with forms of reception of content defined in the current scenario of convergence of media and languages. The paper aims at highlighting the direct relationship of these young people with the radio, and present data that can serve as reference for the current research on reception and media culture. Para ello, los datos de una investigación empírica sobre los hábitos, las formas y los niveles de consumo con los modelos de interferencias directas y procesos de gestión se presentan hasta hoy.

Gêneros e formatos: a web como espaço legitimado da Folkcomunicação

O estudo sobre a folkcomunicação foi um dos principais legados de Luiz Beltrão em sua batalha para conscientizar os estudantes de jornalismo quanto à comunicação coletiva e a seus múltiplos desdobramentos. A atualidade da pesquisa desse pioneiro tem despertado o interesse de diversos grupos, não só no Brasil, mas também na América Latina e em países europeus. Se, por um lado, a rapidez da sociedade da informação possibilita a criação cotidiana de "um mundo novo" de informações, com a oferta cada vez mais veloz de conhecimento exige, por outro, que toda essa gama de dados que circulam pelas "infovias" comunicacionais faça parte do cotidiano das pessoas quase que em tempo real. Esse ultimato se insere no mundo do trabalho, do lazer, da economia, da política, da cultura em uma aparente cobrança da inserção do indivíduo nesse contexto. Esse tem sido um dos motes principais de articulação da Rede (GOBBI, 2006). A pesquisa que estamos realizando busca conhecer, mapear, sistematizar os dados que estão sendo disponibilizados na rede mundial sobre a Folkcomunicação, tratando mais especificamente da Folkcomunicação Icônica, Formato Funerário e Folkcomunicação cinética, Formato: Rito de passagem, conforme definiu o professor José Marques de Melo, em seu trabalho sobre Gêneros e formatos folkcomunicacionais: aproximação taxionômica. Utilizando pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, a análise objetiva verificar quais tipos estão presentes e se há outros formatos e quais são eles.

Obsolescência do direito autoral e modalidades de licenças pública para a economia criativa

En este artículo se reflexiona sobre la obsolescencia de la condición de autor de hoy mediante la revisión de los diferentes métodos de licencias públicas y sugiere su adopción como una posible base para la reforma legal en torno al tema, para conciliar la ampliación de la circulación de contenidos y protección de los derechos producción de películas en el nuevo contexto de la economía creativa. A través de la investigación exploratoria, el documento analiza cómo y en qué medida las licencias copyleft y creative commons puede guiar esta reforma. Se considera que las licencias públicas buscan un equilibrio entre el derecho de autor y los preceptos actuales de la sociedad del conocimiento, proporcionando los parámetros más adecuados para la revisión necesaria de ese estatuto.

The study of Folk Communication is a major legacy of Luiz Beltrão in his endeavor to educate journalism students about collective communication and its many ramifications. The topicality of this pioneering research has piqued the interest of many groups, not only in Brazil but also in Latin America and in European countries. This research seeks to know, map, and organize the data on Folk Communication available on the web, dealing more specifically with Iconic Folk Communication, Funeral Format, and Kinetics Folk Communication, Format: Rite of Passage, as defined by Professor José Marques de Melo in his investigation on Genres and Formats of Folk Communication: a taxonomic approach. Employing bibliographic and documentary research, the objective of this analysis is to verify which types are present, and whether there are other formats and identify them.

One of the main challenges in the mining sector at present, related to the optimization of mineral assets, consists in to find the best proportion of each geological material to be mined and homogenized to ensure high productivity and stability in ore processing plants. The stability of a mineral processing plant is factor for achieving operational excellence, as a stable performance of the plants ensures economy and adherence to financial planning businesses. Is already well Know that the feed rate of the processing plants is dependent on the hardness and quality of the ore. Therefore, the ore behavior predictability is the solution to ensure the stability of mineral processing plants. This work was developed in Anglo American Phosphate Brazil Ltda., at the Fazenda Chapadão Phosphate Mine, located in the southeastern portion of the state of Goiás, in the municipalities of Catalão and Ouvidor. The phosphate ore is the result of supergene apatite concentration in the weathering profile of the alkaline ultramafic phlogopitized rocks, intruded by foscoritic and carbonatitic rocks series. The weathering profile has about 100 meters thick and is divided into three basic types, from top to bottom, coinciding with decreasing intensity of weathering: oxidized ore, micaceous ore and weathered rock. In each portion of this weathering profile, mainly near the contacts between these three divisions, are hard materials, cemented by minerals such as apatite, quartz, goethite, monazite and barite. The different features presented by these materials makes to be vital the correct identification, quantification and location of different hard materials in the mine area, to maximize its use. The main objective of this study was to define the type of cementation of hard materials which predominates in each portion of the weathering profile in the mine, as well as their relationship with the protolith. Análise energética na agricultura: ferramenta importante para a produção agrícola mais sustentável

A produção de alimentos e matérias-primas é considerada um dos maiores desafios da atualidade. Assim, os impactos gerados pela atividade da agricultura são muitos, como por exemplo, erosão dos solos, poluição de águas doces e geração de resíduos. Com isso faz-se necessário o desenvolvimento de tecnologias para promover a redução desses impactos. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar e discutir análises energéticas em sistemas de produção agrícola como uma ferramenta capaz de destacar a dependência dos agroecossistemas de energia externa e de fontes não renováveis, particularmente de fontes fósseis. Assim, com o uso dessa ferramenta, alternativas para uma produção agrícola com menos impacto ambiental pode ser alcançada, proporcionando a ampliação das possibilidades para uma produção mais sustentável.
