Este trabalho analisa os jornais O Baur�� (publicado entre 1906 e 1924), da cidade de Bauru, e O Oper��rio (publicado entre 1909 e 1913), de Sorocaba, com ��nfase no per��odo entre 1909 e 1913, para identificar em que medida os dois ve��culos representavam pol��ticas correntes entre os oper��rios no per��odo (anarquismo, socialismo e anticlericalismo, por exemplo), e faziam parte da experi��ncia comunicacional do in��cio de s��culo XX, na qual segmentos oper��rios e aliados puderam atuar diretamente na produ����o impressa, visando �� organiza����o pol��tica de classe

A imprensa em Lins: an��lise das din��micas sociais e urbanas em O Progresso, 1925-1927 O Linense, 1928-1929

O trabalho de conclus��o de curso, que tem por tema ���A imprensa interiorana: an��lise das din��micas sociais e urbanas em O Progresso, 1925-1927 e O Linense, 1928-1929���, visa analisar os peri��dicos aqui apontados, enquanto representativos dos jornais circulantes no interior paulista do in��cio do s��culo XX, inseridos dentro de um contexto de urbaniza����o das cidades do noroeste do estado de S��o Paulo, mais especificamente, Lins. Esses peri��dicos ser��o, portanto, objeto de estudo e, concomitantemente, as principais ferramentas de pesquisa sobre a cidade aqui estudada e de identifica����o das tem��ticas relativas ao assunto cidade/urbano. Este trabalho serve como um complemento �� pesquisa de inicia����o cient��fica ���A Imprensa em Lins: temas da cidade e do urbano em O Progresso, 1925-1927 e O Linense, 1928-1929���, que teve como proposta fazer o levantamento de temas sobre a vida, as transforma����es e as din��micas urbanas de Lins, munic��pio do oeste paulista, mapeando diversas dimens��es da cidade publicadas nos jornais O Progresso, do per��odo de 1925 a 1927 e O Linense, de 1928 a 1929. Dessa maneira, o trabalho visa contribuir para os estudos sobre as cidades da Zona Noroeste paulista e, a partir da an��lise dos jornais, realizar uma leitura da imprensa interiorana do in��cio do s��culo XX em S��o Paulo. Cabe salientar que a pesquisa est�� vinculada ao Projeto Tem��tico ���Saberes Eruditos e T��cnicos na Configura����o e Reconfigura����o do Espa��o Urbano ��� Estado de S��o Paulo, s��culos XIX e XX (processo 05/55338-0)���, com coordena����o do grupo de professores da Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunica����o da UNESP-Bauru. O subtema desse projeto, sob a responsabilidade espec��fica do orientador C��lio Jos�� Losnak, chama-se ���As dimens��es pol��tica e cultural da circula����o dos saberes nas cidades do oeste paulista: legisla����o, processos decis��rios... A imprensa em Ava��: a cidade e o urbano no Avahy-Jornal, 1927-1931

Esta monografia �� resultado da pesquisa de inicia����o cient��fica ���A imprensa em Ava��: a cidade e o urbano no AVAHY-JORNAL, 1927 ��� 1931���, e tem por objetivo fazer um levantamento e mapeamento de temas sobre as din��micas e transforma����es urbanas da cidade de Ava�� - localizada na regi��o oeste paulista -, presentes no peri��dico ���AVAHY-JORNAL��� no per��odo compreendido entre novembro de 1927 a dezembro de 1931. Da descri����o ao ensino da ora����o adjetiva: a perspectiva dos livros did��ticos de l��ngua portuguesa

This paper aims at investigating the treatment given to relative clauses by elementary school text books, evidencing how the teaching of grammar is proposed in the teacher���s books. As a consequence, this study also intends to discuss important aspects to be considered as far as the teaching of relative clauses is concerned. In order to achieve that objective, five Portuguese text books (approved by the Programa Nacional do Livro Did��tico-2014) were selected so that the grammar teaching proposals could be analyzed in relation to the definition and to the distinguishing criteria between defining and non-defining relative clauses. Results show that the teaching of relative clauses (as proposed by the teacher���s books) still reflects the postulates of the traditional grammar, based on activities of identification and classification of morphosyntactic units, ignoring the pragmatic and prosodic aspects.

An��lise de Express��es Idiom��ticas Italianas com as lexias 'capo' e 'testa' e seu correspondente 'cabe��a', em l��ngua portuguesa. (QUALIS A2)

This study aims to investigate the Idioms (IEs) or combinations related to the Italian lexical units testa and capo, in comparison to the Portuguese lexical unit cabe��a. Since they have come from two completely different etyma, they are not perfect synonyms; on the contrary, they gave rise to several expressions that are common to just one lexical units. Corpus selection was made in monolingual Italian general dictionaries and then the data was classified according to each typology: idioms that are common only with the unit capo; idioms just with head; idioms that are synonyms with both; IEs whose translations refer to other parts of the body. As a result, we found that most of the IEs with capo or testa have common semes, but most of them also are specific to one or other lexical unit exclusively, confirming the difference in semantic features between them as well as non-univocity between languages.

O discurso sobre a concis��o na Revista L��ngua Portuguesa

The objective was to seek positive and negative values that guide the discourse on conciseness and understand how this concept is understood in speeches in the media when taking the theme of text production. The corpus of work consists of two materials of Portuguese Language Magazine on this topic. The analysis of the corpus was made from Bakhtinian discourse studies, especially considering the concepts of dialogue, utterance and speech genres. The research considers mainly as Bakhtin Circle conceives the production of meaning. At the end, we believe it is important to reflect on the definitions that guide the discourse of conciseness, far in practice they are consistent with our reality of writing

Das formas de ensinar e conhecer o mundo: li����es de coisas e m��todo de ensino intuitivo na imprensa peri��dica educacional do s��culo XIX

This article analyses A Eschola Publica, an educational journal that circulated in S��o Paulo state between 1893-1894 and 1896-1897, whose editors, allied with the diffusion of republican ideas, helped the consolidation of objective method as a pedagogical efficient modern tool. It was possible gathering some sources that shows the acceptance of that method and the difficulties for its dissemination in the classroom, mainly those refers to teacher���s formation. Taking as referential bibliographical resources about schooling culture it was possible verifying that circulating in complementary parallel way to textbooks, the articles by A Eschola Publica endorse the innovative purposes and show barriers imposing on educational context. This journal produced a place for discussions and debates that contributed for controlling and producing symbolic resources

Globaliza����o, desemprego e (nova) pobreza: estudo sobre impactes nas sodiedades portuguesa e brasileira

This article reflects upon the possible connections between the processes of economic globalization, changes in the labour market and the new forms of poverty. The debate is framed by two different economic contexts: Portugal (characterized by slow and insufficient growth rates, a serious social crisis, and difficulties in asserting itself economically and politically in the European and world contexts) and Brazil (a dynamic emerging economy, with high growth rates and receding poverty levels). This allows us to assess some of the economic and social impacts arising from the global pressure to be economically competitive, which have led to new forms of poverty, social precariousness and job insecurity in both societies.
