Varsinaisen kehitystyön teki konenäköjärjestelmiin erikoistunut alihankkija, jolla on kokemusta 3D testauksesta muilta teollisuuden aloilta. Matkapuhelimien alikokoonpanojen testauksessa laatukriteerit ja tarkkuusvaatimukset ovat kuitenkin liian kovia saavutettaviksi 3D lasertriangulaatioon perustuvaa testausjärjestelmää käytettäessä

The aim of the work is to study the existing analytical calculation procedures found in literature to calculate the eddy-current losses in surface mounted permanent magnets within PMSM application. The most promising algorithms are implemented with MATLAB software under the dimensional data of LUT prototype machine. In addition finite elements analyze, utilized with help of Flux 2D software from Cedrat Ltd, is applied to calculate the eddy-current losses in permanent magnets. The results obtained from analytical methods are compared with numerical results.

The general methodology of classical trajectories as applied to elementary chemical reactions of the A+BC type is presented. The goal is to elucidate students about the main theoretical features and potentialities in applying this versatile method to calculate the dynamical properties of reactive systems. Only the methodology for two-dimensional (2D) case is described, from which the general theory for 3D follows straightforwardly. The adopted point of view is, as much as possible, that of allowing a direct translation of the concepts into a working program. An application to the reaction O(¹D)+H2->O+OH with relevance in atmospheric chemistry is also presented. The FORTRAN codes used are available through the web page www.qqesc.qui.uc.pt.

In the present work structural, magnetic and transport properties of InGaAs quantum wells (QW) prepared by MBE with an remote Mn layer are investigated. By means of high-resolution X-ray diffractometry the structure of the samples is analyzed. It is shown that Mn ions penetrate into the QW. Influence of the thickness of GaAs spacer and annealing at 286 ºС on the properties of the system is shown. It is shown that annealing of the samples led to Mn activation and narrowing of the Mn layer. Substantial role of 2D holes in ferromagnetic ordering in Mn layer is shown. Evidence for that is observation of maximum at 25 – 55 K on the resistivity temperature dependence. Position of maximum, which is used for quantitative assessment of the Curie temperature, correlates with calculations of the Curie temperature for structures with indirect interaction via 2D holes’ channel. Dependence of the Curie temperature on the spacer thickness shows, that creation of applicable spintronic devices needs high-precision equipment to manufacture extra fine structures. The magnetotransport measurements show that charge carrier mobility is very low. This leads to deficiency of the anomalous Hall effect. At the same time, magnetic field dependences of the magnetization at different temperatures demonstrate that systems are ferromagnetically ordered. These facts, most probably, give evidence of presence of the ferromagnetic MnAs clusters.

In an ethanolic extract of leaves of Ottonia corcovadensis (Piperaceae) were identified sixteen terpenoids of essential oil and the three flavonoids 3',4',5,5',7-pentamethoxyflavone (1), 3',4',5,7-tetramethoxyflavone (2) and 5-hydroxy-3',4',5',7-tetramethoxyflavone (3) and cafeic acid (4). Two amides (5 and 6) were isolated from an ethanolic extract of the roots. The structures were established by spectral analysis, meanly NMR (1D and 2D) and mass spectra. Extensive NMR analysis was also used to complete ¹H and 13C chemical shift assignments of the flavonoids and amides. The components of the essential oil were identified by computer library search, retention indices and visual interpretation of mass spectra.

The Hansch Analysis, also known by QSAR-2D, is an extremely effective tool in the identification and/or improvement of the pharmacological or toxicological profile of xenobiotics. This article presents the theme didactically and with enough detail to clarify the conceptual basis of Hansch Analysis. Besides, it shows the application of the technique in measuring the influence of physicochemical properties on the biological activity of compounds with pharmacological interest.

Phytochemical studies with leaves of Uncaria guianensis resulted in the isolation of the oxindole alkaloids isomitraphylline (1), 3-isoajmalicine (2) mitraphylline (3), and isomitraphylinic acid (4). Structural assignments of these alkaloids, including relative configurations and conformations, were performed through spectral data and physical properties. 1D and 2D homonuclear and heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy was a valuable tool for the establishment of the relative stereochemistry of those compounds.
