Multinacionales chinas: ¿cómo influyen los factores institucionales en sus patrones de localización?

[ES] Este artículo analiza la influencia de diversos factores institucionales del país de destino sobre los patrones de localización de 29 grandes multinacionales chinas. A partir de una muestra de 127 decisiones de inversión directa en el exterior (IDE) en 52 países, nuestros resultados indican que una mayor dificultad a la hora de hacer negocios y un elevado riesgo político no condicionan sus decisiones de entrada. No obstante, la presencia de personas de etnia china en el país de destino, un mayor tamaño absoluto del mercado y un mayor volumen de exportaciones chinas hacia ese país influyen positivamente.

La influencia del entorno cultural en la eficiencia de las "mejores prácticas" en dirección de recursos humanos

[ES] La eficiencia de los llamados Sistemas de Trabajo de Alto Rendimiento ha sido un objeto de estudio preferente en las dos últimas décadas. El análisis de su comportamiento se ha realizado considerando diversos factores que supuestamente moderan su eficiencia, entre los que destacan los factores internos de la empresa. Sin embargo, los factores externos, y más concretamente la perspectiva contextual, en contadas ocasiones han sido objeto de análisis.

Shell midden people in northern Iberia. New data from the mesolithic rock shelter of J3 (Basque Country, Spain)

[EN]In the course of a sondage dug in the rock shelter of J3, in the Jaizkibel mountains (at the north-western tip of Guipúzcoa), the body of a adult man was located buried inside a shell midden. This shell midden had not been disturbed and presented internal stratigraphy features. In any case, the outer edge of the shell midden does show some interesting interdigitation with the adjacent habitational layers, with evidence of different stages of occupation. Within the shell midden itself, under the individual buried there, it was possible to observe layers without any ceramics, whereas the layers covering said individual included ceramic fragments. This individual has been dated to 8,300 BP and therefore corresponds to a Mesolithic context.

提出了关于塑料粘结炸药装药的粘弹性蠕变损伤一维模型，按此模型拟合的曲线与Johnson H D的实验结果一致。由此指出，决定于粘结剂的热软化和决定于炸药颗粒特征的初始损伤 度是影响塑料粘结炸药蠕变损伤特性的重要因素；对蠕变柔量的分析表明，适当选择塑料粘结炸药的粘性系数，有可能抑制材料发生蠕变损伤破坏。

Clearigate ® Treatments for Control of Giant Salvinia

Results of recent field trials using the chelated copper formulation Clearigate® 4 showed that applying a 20% solution by volume was effective for controlling populations of giant salvinia in irrigation canals. 5 Lower rates may be efficacious, thereby reducing chemical use and cost; however, little is known about the dose-response effects of Clearigate® against giant salvinia. The objective of this study was to determine the effective rate range of chelated copper applied as Clearigate® for control of giant salvinia.

Prediction of particle distribution in isotropic turbulence by large-eddy simulation

The recent application of large-eddy simulation (LES) to particle-laden turbulence requires that the LES with a subgrid scale (SGS) model could accurately predict particle distributions. Usually, a SGS particle model is used to recover the small-scale structures of velocity fields. In this study, we propose a rescaling technique to recover the effects of small-scale motions on the preferential concentration of inertial particles. The technique is used to simulate particle distribution in isotropic turbulence by LES and produce consistent results with direct numerical simulation (DNS). Factores explicativos de la intención de emprender en la mujer. Aspectos diferenciales en la población universitaria según la variable género

El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es arrojar luz sobre los factores que explican la menor intencionalidad en la población femenina para involucrarse en procesos de creación de empresas. Para ello, se ha desarrollado un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales que identifica un conjunto de variables que permiten explicar la intención de emprender en la población potencialmente emprendedora. La validación del modelo se ha realizado mediante una encuesta realizada a 1222 estudiantes de 12 titulaciones diferentes de la Universidad de Málaga. La aplicación del modelo a las poblaciones masculina y femenina ha permitido apreciar diferencias significativas en los patrones de comportamiento en función del género, identificando un proceso más complejo y necesitado de apoyo externo en la población femenina con respecto a la masculina.
