In this paper we present a report of a project developed with young people who were in detention on the CASA Foundation, former FEBEM in Araraquara, in the period in which the activity occurred. Our goal with the project was twofold: that our presence at the Foundation supports the young people in that institution with leisure and social reintegration, and to enable students to make experience of new strategies for teaching undergraduate and citizenship training. The project developed there was entitled "The Art of Storytelling" and, and despite its catchy title, actually had a much less ambitious goal, which was not just enable artists to exercise the storytelling, but chiefly to raise awareness that our worldview and our inner lives are made up by micronarratives, which not only place us in the universe into which we belong and also creates our own identity. Having this perspective as a starting point and following the theoretical assumptions of Paulo Freire, for whom the learning process is interactive and based on the exchange of experiences, we held five meetings and the experience was enriching, both for students and for the Foundation´s youngs that took part in this activity.

Crenças, pressupostos e conhecimentos de professores em serviço sobre língua(gem) em um curso de formação continuada

O cenário atual de globalização e comunicação intercultural traz impacto significativo para a maneira como entendemos a relação entre língua e sociedade. Gera, também, para o ensino de línguas, a necessidade de o professor compreender suas crenças, pressupostos e conhecimentos (WOODS, 1996) em relação à língua que ensina, uma vez que ele é um importante agente na orquestração da interação de várias histórias de vida e horizontes de entendimento por meio de sua prática pedagógica. Neste artigo, apresentamos e discutimos os resultados de duas pesquisas de doutorado (SALOMÃO, 2012; MENEGHINI, 2013), conduzidas em um mesmo contexto de um curso híbrido (presencial/virtual) de formação continuada, em relação às crenças dos professores sobre as variedades geolinguísticas do espanhol. Ponderamos que a questão da escolha por uma variedade está muitas vezes relacionada às concepções estruturais de língua, assim como está imbricada por uma tessitura de fatores que demonstram falta de consciência das vozes das quais os professores se apropriam para justificar suas opções teórico-metodológicas. O desafio que se coloca para a formação de professores, então, nos parece ser o de auxiliá-los no desenvolvimento de consciência crítica, promovida pela reflexão sobre suas crenças sobre língua(gem), a partir de experiências que possam levá-los a (re)conhecer suas escolhas por determinada variedade linguística. O emprego da literatura na educação infantil: a investigação e intervenção com professores de pré-escola

INTRODUCTION: The children's schools are expanded spaces of education and care for infants. The educator's role as mediator in learning is crucial to child development, and the use of children's books can act as an important methodological and pedagogical resource in this process. METHODS: This paper describes a psychoeducational intervention performed with the educators of a public pre-school with the following objectives: (a) register the collection of children's books of the school, (b) investigate the acquisition and use of children's books by the teachers and (c) offer an intervention to teachers regarding the educational use of children's books. The participants were seven educators who worked with children from 2 to 6 years old. RESULTS: The results indicate that among the 315 books in the school, the majority was about animal stories (75 books), fantasy and mystery (38), fairy tales and fables (34), formal learning (33), learning rules (33) and about nature and environment (22). The educators reported that the choice of books was made mainly considering the age group to which the books were directed, and also from the themes found in texts and/ or illustrations. Although the teachers believe that the books can encourage reading among children, they don't describe their use in planned activities and they report lack of knowledge about their use. CONCLUSION: The proposed intervention to the teachers allowed them to rethink the use of books in pre-school, instructing them to the utilization of the books aiming to stimulate the imagination and creativity, improving the critical and reflexive capability of the children.

Tell a story is one of the primary forms and instinctive communication in humanity. The essence of narrating daily events remains the same, but the channels through which these stories are told to reshape over time and adapt to the desires of your audience. Given this reformulation and with the advent of the internet as an essential part of contemporary communication, technology plays an essential role in assisting in the development of languages and new ways to create, manage and communicate content, in addition to democratize and expand these processes. Territórios marginais dos desejos: dissidências, resistências e prostituição feminina

In this research, we discuss important aspects related to the scope of the adult female prostitution in a municipality located in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. We rely on the theoretical contributions provided by the Cultural Studies, the Queer Theory and other aspects referenced by gender studies, by sexualities and other subjective processes, in parallel with the analysis of the reported life stories of two women linked to the context of commercial sexual practice in the studied city. From the presented informations, we observed multiple stories of women in the process of resistance to some standards of femininity, and come to the conclusion that the economic factor is not always preponderant for the entry/residence in female commercial sex practice, especially today, when relationships tend be established by the confluence of multiple interests.

Homofobia familiar: abrindo o armário entre quatro paredes

Sexuality device authorizes families to become the guardians of its members’ sexuality, ensuring the exclusion of any kind of dissidence from heteronormativity by means of reinforcement of homophobia. This paper presents the analyses of female participants who are dissident of heteronormativity. They were accessed through snow-ball technique and were interviewed. After transcribing their interviews, the researcher produced narratives of their lives with were corroborated with the participants. Data were analyzed from a poststructuralist perspective. By then, we privileged the study of the manifestation of homophobia in the family, developing a genealogy of their detractors effects, but also highlighting modes of resistance to it. This locus of manifestation of homophobia, obscured by the intimacy of the private world, is still a fairly discussed topic in national studies and maximizes the damage caused by discrimination in macro social spaces. We pointed out, then, family as an important target of action for public policies which aim the protection of human and civil rights, as well as all kinds of violence and discrimination.

O desenho da figura humana e o TAT em adolescentes grávidas: um estudo no hospital geral

The adolescent pregnancy is a public health problem and a challenge to Psychology, that could contribute proposing health prevention actions to this population. The present study intended to investigate the psychological functioning of 10 pregnant adolescents through analysis of Human Figure Drawing (HFD) and Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). It was observed a high level of anxiety experienced by the pregnant adolescents verified in tracing, in shading and in the poverty of details, that can lead to the development of problems related to pregnancy and the relationship between the family, the adolescent and the baby. As for the TAT, the stories, in general constructed by the teenagers, were poorly structured with reduced content and a magical happy ending. It was concluded that the HFD and the TAT are discriminating and adequate to evaluate these adolescents’ psychodynamics and allow to indicate supporting preventive actions in this area.

Tradução e relações intertextuais em Historias ocultas en la Recoleta, de María Rosa Lojo

The aim is to analyze some aspects of the strategy of intertextual Maria Rosa Lojo and her importance to the translation of two tales Historias Ocultas en la Recoleta. Then, the theory by Umberto Eco about the intertextual irony and its implications in the act of tranlation were used to the understanding. The theories and considerations by Linda Hutcheon on intertextuality, parody and discourses of history also contributed.

Un passo indietro al Decameron e os limites intangíveis do Novellino

The narratives of Decameron, composed by Giovanni Boccacio in the 14th century, possess a popular content carefully tied together by a formal structure capable of concentrating sophisticated techniques. The present paper revisits some relation possibilities between Decameron and Novellino, an anonymous work from the 13th century, composed on the basis of fables and stories gathered mainly from the oral tradition. Our aim is not to demonstrate a genealogy of the prose and of its freedom to recover narrative situations but to reflect, by means of examples of great reverberation, on the strategies developed to make elements from the ancient tradition highly functional in the literary tradition, according to the formal resources available in each period.

Oficina na atenção psicossocial: experimentações com a palavra

The Word Workshop was created in 2004, as an activity of the training period in Psychosocial Care in the Collective Health, a discipline that is part of the curriculum of the Psychology course offered by the State of São Paulo’s University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”/UNESP, campus of Assis. Initially, it is possible to affirm that the Word Workshop contributes to stimulate the flow of the words through the discussion of tales, short stories, poetry, jokes and news. The Word Workshop is considered an effort towards the guarantee of a space where the users of the mental health care service can share varied experiences and it is also thought as an attempt that can, potentially, bring up the conditions through which some existential meanings may possibly be forked. Such a space-instrument allows the mental health care users to speak about life and their interests rather than to keep focused in symptoms and complains. These ones, by their turn, are expressed through metaphors, unprecedented speech experiences and new sensitivity regimes. The critical analysis of the singular experience of the Word Workshop, that understands the words as agents of social transformation, was conceived with the support of Enrique Pichon-Rivière’s and Paulo Freire’s theories. From this first theoretical reading, it is possible to make an incursion through the scenery of the Psychosocial Care Workshops, paying special attention to their potential and to the risks related to crystallized practices.
