Relatos de uso de tecnologias educacionais na educação permanente de profissionais de saúde no sistema Universidade Aberta do SUS

Apresenta os primeiros resultados do planejamento e da implantação de atividades de ensino e aprendizagem, empregando o estudo mediado pela tecnologia (EAD) de doze instituições componentes desse programa coordenado desde 2008 pelo Ministério da Saúde do Brasil.

ORIENTAÇÃO ÀS GESTANTES NA ADESÃO DO TIPO DE TRABALHO DE PARTO

Gestação, parto e puerpério são processos fisiológicos, sendo o parto o ponto culminante deste processo. O preparo da gestante para o parto abrange uma série de intervenções e cuidados, que se iniciam no pré-natal. A taxa de cesariana ideal deve ficar em torno de 15%, já que a cirurgia só é indicada em casos emergenciais e põe em risco a gestante e o bebê. Este projeto de intervenção teve como objetivo sensibilizar as gestantes da Unidade de Saúde da Família Geraldo Fernandes sobre a importância do parto normal, colaborando então com a redução da proporção de partos cesáreos no município de Cassilândia/MS, bem como reconhecer os motivos que a levaram a escolher o tipo parto. Esta intervenção teve o prazo de 3 meses para a sua completa execução. Contando com a participação de 32 gestantes, nos meses de outubro, novembro e dezembro do ano de 2013, onde foram convidadas para a formação de um grupo de orientação a ser realizado quinzenalmente com duração de seis encontros.

Protocolos de investigação de variáveis psicológicas na epilepsia infantil

Epilepsy is a common chronic condition in the childhood and its diagnosis reveals psychological, social and family difficulties, that seem to be related with beliefs and quality of parents-children interaction. The purpose of this paper is to schematize investigation strategies for the psychological variables: beliefs, impact of the disease, family relationship, identification of changes. Based upon collected reports of epileptic children's parents and upon surveyed aspects of the literature, psychological questionnaires were elaborated to identify important variables that affect the child's epilepsy life and his family. The use of more appropriate investigation procedures facilitates the psychological evaluation and ensures the collection of data.

A responsabilidade de traduzir o in-traduzível: Jacques Derrida e o desejo de [la] tradução

How should one consider the responsibility of the translator, who is located between the differences of two linguistic systems and in the middle of the various idioms constitute each of the languages involved in the translation? (P. Ottoni). What is the role of the translator in inter-acting with both his/her mother tongue and the idiom of the other? These two questions will be discussed in order to reflect on the responsibility of translating the un-translatable. Two hypotheses orient the paper: 1 - an idiom spoken idiomatically is known as the mother tongue and is not appropriated, so that accommodating the other in one's own language automatically considers his/her idiom (J. Derrida) and 2 - face-to-face with language and its idioms, the translator is trapped in a double (responsibility) bind; faced with something which cannot be translated, he/she is forced to perceive it in another way. In conclusion, how should one consider the responsibility of translating the un-translatable Jacques Derrida?

Mulheres indigenas: poder e tradição

This study contemplates reports and reflections about gender and the interfaces with work, power and woman's political participation within the Bororo indigenous communities in Mato Grosso, Guarani/Kaiowá and Kadiwéu ones, in Mato Grosso do Sul. In the study with the Bororo community, the woman valorization occurred because she represents the guardian of the culture and of the traditional knowledge, and at the same time, she is an important speaker for the Bororo and the non indigenous society. In the case of Guarani/Kaiowá community, the most important facts are, on one side, the departure of the men and their wish to become city men, and on the other, the women who wish or need to keep the Guarani identity and live in the reserve. In the Kadiwéu community, the most important fact is the women political power and a role division between men and women, without the attribution of more value to one role or the other.

Ocular findings in Brazilian identical twins with Cohen syndrome: case report

A case of identical male twins with Cohen syndrome who present multiple ophthalmic findings is reported. The patients were identical 16 year-old twin boys who showed down slanting eyelids, mild ptosis, high-grade myopia, small cortical lens opacities, posterior subcapsular cataracts, myotic and corectopic pupils with poor dilation due to focal iris atrophy and retinochoroidal dystrophy. Ophthalmologists must be aware of the ocular and systemic findings of Cohen syndrome in the evaluation of young patients with mental retardation and visual impairment.
