Mulheres fazem isso? Análise das estratégias de gestão do rúgbi feminino no Brasil

This paper presents the integrated sports marketing to female rugby management in Brazil and analyzes the strategies used to popularize this sport. The Brazilian Confederation of Rugby in 2011 developed a strategic planning with the objective of restructuring mode and has been using sports marketing concepts to promote rugby, aiming its growth, both in numbers of practitioners, as supporters and fans. To perform the proposed objective was conducted a survey exploratory on the rugby modality that will be present at the Olympic Games in 2016. We analyze also the history of women's Rugby Team and the tools of marketing and sportive management used by the Confederation. At the end is a study of the strategies of sports management female rugby in Brazil, taking into consideration also the gender issue, especially the obstacles women face athletes in a sport that is blended with the virility and strength male.

Revista Senhor: a influência da ilustração na formação do design editorial no Brasil

Senhor Magazine’s editorial project was used as basis for several scientific studies as its content represents a turning point to national culture and it marks the decade of 1960 as one of the most significant projects of graphic design in Brazil. The present paper aims to analyze the illustration’s significance to the development of Brazilian’s editorial design and its object of study is Senhor Magazine due to the relevant connection between design and illustration. Therefore, a literature research addressing the history of editorial design in Brazil, as well as the influence of illustration in these projects was conducted. It was concluded that illustration was crucial for editorial design evolution in Brazil, and this relationship has been established since the early twentieth century. Therefore, only in the sixties it was accepted, and Senhor Magazine has become the biggest representation of this period.

A internet como instrumento da democracia: um estudo comparativo entre as memórias virtuais dos parlamentos do Reino Unido e do Brasil

Preserving the organizational memory of public institutions means keeping the history of a society alive, managing communication, strengthening institutional image and thus build a good reputation. Therefore, institutions such as the Brazilian Senate and the United Kingdom Parliament are investing in virtual spaces to preserve the memory. A comparative study between those tools and the ways adopted for the memory preservation by both institutions is the main objective of the present work. The methodology consisted in the elaboration of categories that concern three priorities: democracy, internet and memory.

This monograph will focus on the social policies implemented by the Federal Government during the government of Luis Inácio Lula da Silva. The aim of this study is to analyze the main changes in social inequality indicators in the period 2003 - 2010. In the first chapter, we present some ideas of poverty meaning and its history in Brazil. The second chapter is dedicated to the most important cash transfer program in the history of the country, the Bolsa Familia program, and finally, in Chapter 3, is highlighted as stocks in the labor market also contributed to improve social indicators in Brazil and lift millions out of poverty and extreme poverty, such as increasing the level of formal job creation and the real increase in the minimum wage

As novas tendências da gestão escolar no Brasil nas últimas décadas

Atualmente versam no campo da educação inúmeras discussões, dentre elas a questão da gestão escolar e sua atuação nas instituições de ensino, públicas, privadas ou outras. Um aspecto, portanto que inquieta esta pesquisa, são os estudos sobre administração escolar e quais são as novas tendências da gestão escolar para atenderem as exigências da sociedade moderna. Paira sobre tal inquietação a necessidade de identificar, descrever e refletir sobre o que os novos estudiosos da administração escolar têm pensado sobre as formas atuais de se administrar as instituições de ensino nas últimas décadas. This study aimed to discuss the recent contributions of History of Science to theteaching of chemistry. The theme of the teaching unit was on the accident of cesium-137 in Goiânia ? Goiás, Brazil (1987). This was a qualitative study in which researcherand professor use the methodology of teaching on research. Thus, students should seekinformation, organize the data collected and establish relationships. Students producedposters in an exhibition at the school on the twentieth anniversary of the accident.Results demonstrated the importance of this resource. It was possible to exploit theabundance of detail and illustrations utilized what themes they students considerimportant and which they exploited. A poster exhibition on the theme indicated thestrong interest of students to participate in all activities proposed. The study alsorevealed the importance of using elements of the History of Science in ChemicalEducation and its relationship to the daily life of students.Key words: history of science; radioactivity; cesium-137
