Abstract: This article is focused in studying different algorithms about generalization of vector map data from urban areas, because most of the conflicts in the processes of cartographic generalization are concentrated in these areas. Although generalization is one of the most difficult processes to automate, there are tools that implement these algorithms and provide satisfactory results. However, none of them can automate the process of generalization completely. Then tests in describing and analyzing the results are included, establishing a comparison with works of various authors. The document concludes by assessing the possible future works to solve the problem of cartographic generalization. This study is within the CENIT project España Virtual.

ABSTRACT. The current scheme that exists in the field of standardization and the design of new video coding standards is becoming a difficult task to meet the evolving and dynamic community of video encoding. The problem was centered mainly in order to exploit all the features and similarities between different codecs and encoding standards. This has forced redesigning some parts common to several coding standards. This problem led to the emergence of a new initiative for standardization within the ISO / IEC MPEG committee, called Reconfigurable Video Coding (RVC). His main idea was to develop a video coding standard and gradually incrementase to update a library of components, providing flexibility and the ability to have a reconfigurable code using a new flow -oriented language Actors / data called CAL. This language is used for the specification of the standard library and to the instantiation model decoder. Later, a new video coding standard called High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), which currently is in continuous process of updating and development, which would improve the compression efficiency and video coding is developed. Obviously has developed a vision of using the methodology HEVC RVC. In this PFC, different implementations using RVC standard are used. For example, using decoders MPEG 4 Part 2 SP and MPEG 4 Part 10 CBP and PHP and the new coding standard HEVC, highlighting the features and usefulness of each. In RVC, the algorithms are described by a class of actors that exchange streams of data (tokens) to perform different actions. The objective of this project is to develop a program that, based on the aforementioned decoders, a series of video stream in different compression formats and a standard distribution of actors (for each of the decoders), is capable of generating different distributions decoder actors on one or more processors of the system on which it runs, to achieve greater efficiency in video coding. The purpose of the program developed in this project is to facilitate the realization of the distributions of the actors on the cores of the system, and get the best possible settings automatically and efficiently.

Ethanol withdrawn individuals present a wealth of signs and symptoms, some of them related with anxiety. To better understand brain areas involved in anxiety caused by ethanol abstinence, preclinical studies have been employing models of ethanol consumption followed by withdrawal in rodents submitted to behavioral tests of anxiety, such as the elevated plus-maze. The aim of this study was to investigate if short- or long-term ethanol withdrawal could alter both anxiety-related behaviors in the elevated plus-maze (EPM) and open field tests and the number of serotonin immunorreactive cels in the dorsal raphe nucleus, a midbrain area associated with anxiety. Female Wistar rats (90 days old) were submitted to increasing concentrations of ethanol (2% for 3 days, 4% for 3 days and 6% for 15 days) as the only source of liquid diet and the control group received water ad libitum. Both groups received food ad libitum. In the behavioral experiments, on 21st day of consumption, ethanol was substituted by water (withdrawal) and 72 h or 21 days after withdrawal animals were submitted to the EPM, where it was evaluated the percentage of time and entries in the open arms and the entries in the enclosed arms during 5 minutes. Twenty and four hours after testing in the EPM, animals were submitted to the open field test for 15 minutes, where the distance traveled by the animals was observed along this period. During the first 5 minutes, the distance traveled, entries and time spent in the center of the test were analyzed. In the immunohistochemistry study, animals were submitted to 21 days of consumption of ethanol followed or not by 72 hours and 21 days of withdrawal previously perfusion, brain tissue preparation and quantification of serotonin dyed cells in the dorsal and caudal portions in the dorsal raphe nucleus. Behavioral data showed that both short- and long-term ethanol withdrawals reduced the open arms exploration in the EPM. In the open field test there were no locomotor activity changes during the total 15 minutes; however, longterm ethanol withdrawal reduced the exploration in the center of the open field during the first 5 minutes. In the immunohistochemistry step, there were no differences, when short- and long-term withdrawn groups were compared with control group; nevertheless, the chronic consumption of ethanol decreased the number of serotonergic immunorreactive cells in the dorsal part of dorsal raphe nucleus. Taken together, results here obtained suggest that both short- and long-term ethanol withdrawals promoted an anxiogenic-like effect that was not related with changes in the serotonin immunorreactivity in the dorsal and caudal parts of the dorsal raphe nucleus.

The 3-Hidroxytyramine/dopamine (DA) is a monoamine of catecholamine family and isthe precursor substance synthesis of noradrenaline and adrenaline, having the enzymeTyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) as this regulatory process. In addition, the DA has theability to act as a neurotransmitter in the Central Nervous System - SNC, being themain neurotransmitter of brain nuclei, namely of A8 to A16. The nuclei of the midbrainthat express DA are the Retrorubral Field (RRF, A8), the Substantia Nigra parsCompacta (SNc, A9) and the Ventral Tegmental Area (VTA, A10). Such nuclei areinvolved in complex three circuitry that are the mesostriatal, mesolimbic andmesocotical and are directly related with several behavioral manifestations as motricitycontrol, reward signaling in behavioral learning, motivation and pathologicalconditions, such as Parkinson's Disease and schizophrenia. Interestingly, many of themorphological bases of these neural disturbance remain unknown. Considering therelevance of mesencephalic dopaminergic nuclei, the aim of this research is tocharacterize morphologically the dopaminergic nuclei (clusters A8, A9 and A10) of themidbrain of the bat (Artibeus planirostris). The Artibeus planirostris is a common bat inRio Grande do Norte. Ten animals were used in this research. The animals wereanesthetized, perfused, and the brain was removed from the skull. After dehydration insucrose, the brain was underwent microtomy. Saggital and coronal sections wereobtained and collected in six separate series. The series were Nissl-stained to identifythe cytoarchitectonic boundaries and the other series were subjected toimmunohistochemistry for TH. After cytoarchitectonic analysis and TH+ cellsidentification was possible to establish the anatomical boundaries of the nuclei, as wellas the subdivisions of three of the midbrain dopaminergic nuclei. The SNc is the mostrostral nucleus observed in the midbrain and is identified throughout the rostrocaudalextension of the midbrain. The VTA neurons were seen immediately caudal to the SNcappearance. The RRF neurons were observed just in the caudal levels of the midbrain. The SNc in Artibeus planirostris shows a particular feature, the tail of the SNc. The tailhave been described just in two other studied species. The present work shows aparticular variation in the organizational morphology of the SNc in the artibeus andcontribute to understand the phylogenetic routes by which the dopaminergic system hasevolved.

The National Police for Basic Care (PNAB), regulated by ordinance nº2488 from October 2011, restates the Family Health Strategy (ESF) as a priority to the expansion, consolidation and qualification of basic attention to health matters in Brazil. In order to bring it about, city counsellors along with other federal entities ought to ordinate their work process deepening principals, directions and fundaments of Basic Care (AB). Besides ESF, the new PNAB expatiates on the Family Health Support Centres (NASF), reaffirming their role on broadening the scope of basic care actions and their improvements, ratifying their ability to share knowledge and support Basic Care professionals. All this considered, the purpose of this work is to investigate how NASF is currently structured in João Pessoa and what has been achieved by it on what concerns to mental health. Its main objectives are to analyse the practices of mental health professionals that are part of NASF teams and if they differ from what has been developed by the other members of the teams; to discuss the articulation of NASF in managing mental health measures on what concerns to internal organisatio n and to the city health network; to identify strategies used to organise such measures on mental health in Basic Care. To reach such goals, individual interviews have taken place two city health managers and four of NASF professionals that participated on the Mental Health Office as representatives of their sanitary districts. Also a focal group formed by various supporters of NASF was created, contemplating the diversity of professional categories involved with the teams and sanitary districts. It was possible to identify in NASF, in João Pessoa, an organisation based by the matrix support in which both management and basic care demands reflect a series of actions developed alongside with ESF. Amongst such actions, matrixing, home visits and the Singular Therapeutic Project (PTS) stand out. These activities have been discussed on the focal group and integrate the daily work of all NASF supporters despite their professional categories. NASF presents itself as a powerful strategy to SUS proper qualification and support to strengthen Basic Care and broaden family health teams‟actions.

In the current context of policies for inclusiveness in the Brazilian higher education, the accessibility centers are responsible for the organization of actions toward the fulfillment of the legal requirements regarding accessibility and the elimination of barriers that interfere with the participation and learning of persons with special learning needs (SLN), providing conditions for the full inclusion of these students in the activities of learning, research and community outreach in this learning level. This research had the goal to analyse the work developed by the accessibility centers in the federal universities in the northeastern region of Brazil towards the care of students with SLN. It is a descriptive work, with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Twelve federal universities participated through their accessibility center’s coordinators. The data - gathered by means of an electronic survey filled out in 2014 - was organized and analyzed through descriptive statistics and content analysis; their discussion was made around four topics: organization of accessibility centers for the care of students with SLN, kinds and numbers of students with SLN cared for, actions developed, and suggestions for the improvement of the accessibility centers. It was found that in the sphere of the researched universities, the accessibility centers have been taking actions involving many parts of the academic community towards the improvement of the conditions and permanence of students with SLN. However, in some institutional realities, these action need to be expanded and/or consolidated. The coordinators suggest further actions towards the betterment of these centers, regarding expansion of financial and human resources, professional qualification, awareness of the academic community, institutionalization and the formation of a collaborative network among the accessibility centers. Thus, although there are still challenges to overcome, the presence of the accessibility centers is shown to advance the realization of policies for the inclusion of students with SLN in the post-secondary education, towards the democratization of learning starting from the universal right to education.

In the context of break with psychiatric hospitals, the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform is a historical process of reformulation of knowledge and mental health practices. In this way, the Centers of Support for Family Health (NASF) have been acting in the supply of matrix support in mental health. So, the present research aims to analyze the actions which the NASF is taking for the matrix support in mental health in the city of Natal/RN. This is a kind of research descriptive, exploratory and qualitative. The data collection, was made by a direct observation of the professional pratices and semi-structured interviews with health professionals NASF's. The Data were analyzed according to thematic analysis technique, with the support of the content analysis method, which is a way to investigate clusters of meanings which make up the communication of the investigated object. Three analytical categories were organized by this method, whose titles were inspired in two theories in the health field called “Health to Paidéia” and “Expanded Clinic”. The name of the categories are: 1. “Mental illness in brackets: working dimensions of the Centers of Support for Family Health interfaces with the concrete subject”, which is about the work process of NASF; 2. “Freedom and engagement in the arrangement of matrix support in mental health”, which explore the matrix support limitations in mental health in Natal/RN from the professionals interviewed at the NASF’s; 3. “Between the desire and interest: influence of expert orientation in mental health in Psychosocial Care Network” (RAPS), which is related to matrix support in mental health, as an organizational arrangement responsible to ensure intersectoral and comprehensive care, strategies inside of context of the constitution of RAPS. We can extract and say that the actions of NASF teams in the brazilian city called Natal/RN, still not part of a structured link with health care networks, as happens with the absence of discussions and lack of professionals in the matrix support. In addition, there is a difficulty to do an specialized orientation in mental health because of the lack of human resources in this area and of the insufficient number of the replacement services for psychiatric hospital pratices, bringing up the discussion about the consolidation and expansion of RAPS in fact investigated.
