A trajetria do pensamento social no Brasil remonta segunda metade do século XIX e envolve muitas correntes, linhagens e famlias intelectuais que enformam as Cincias Sociais no Brasil. Por isso, h controvrsias quanto fundao das Cincias Sociais, considerada, de um lado, por meio da trajetria histrica, e, de outro, pela institucionalizao do trabalho cientfico. O debate ganha complexidade quando so considerados os marcos fundadores, as caractersticas, o significado e as implicaes dessa institucionalizao que, longe de esclarecer a questo, cria novos problemas para o entendimento e avaliao do processo. Rediscutir as circunstncias histrico-sociais e as configuraes intelectuais de sua fundao e desenvolvimento, entendemos ser pertinente e necessrio, sendo esse o propsito deste artigo.

The intent of this article is to investigate the contribution of Roberto Simonsen for the knowledge and the improvement of living conditions of workers in Brazil. Our hypothesis is that the intellectual contributed in a fundamental way to the theme of the living conditions of workers, especially workermen, was inserted into a broader agenda, that of national-developmentalism, to which it also contributed signifi cantly, as we will discuss throughout this work, being the subject at the center his theories, the core, the foundation of which he went to build the corollary of ideas about Brazil and the world that consecrated him as a great thinker in Brazil.

This article aims to highlight some of the major influences on union structure and the work that emerged in the wake of productive restructuring and globalization of production. The possibility of outsourcing of production and the changes made in its control, more and more glued to the movements of high finance, opened spaces for the dispersion of production. In this international movement, immigrants are unprotected and subject to the conditions of a transnational market work. We describe the case of the United States, where resistance movement has been started.

The ideas related to the psychoanalysis of children began to be disseminated in Brazil in the 1920s, by professionals connected to medicine and education. Therefore, the present article aims showing the contributions of Julius Pires PortoCarrero in the introduction of ideas referred to psychoanalysis of children in Brazil from 1920 to 1930, focusing on education. Through bibliographic research all of the authors work that used psychoanalytic ideas to discuss themes related to education were identified. The conclusions indicate that, in agreement with new educational proposals emerged in the country in the 1920s, the author devoted himself to spread psychoanalytic concepts among educators, assuming that a better understanding of the child based on psychoanalysis could support its development and also the learning process. Besides conferring social legitimacy to psychoanalysis, this initiative has enabled the arising of a more comprehensive practice in child psychoanalysis.

There are three distinct and complementary objectives The first objective is to present a short historical overview on the establishment of evening courses in Brazil (classes are held on weekdays, generally from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm), including those in the higher education level, occurred on the middle of last century. The second objective is to demonstrate the growth of evening higher education, considering that in 1998, of the 2.1 million college enrollments, 55.3% were enrolled in evening courses; in 2010, twelve years later, of the 5.4 million students enrolled, there were 63.5% enrolled in evening courses. The third objective is to discuss current public policies to expand evening openings in public institutions which represent nowadays only 16.1% of the 3.4 million enrollments for evening classes. In the third objective it is included the discussion of programs for scholarships and tuition loans. The research results pointed to the importance of federal programs for scholarships and tuition loans for students from private institutions such as the 1,382,484 scholarships since 2004 (PROUNI Program) and the 847,000 tuition loans since 1999 (FIES Program). Important steps have been made by the Brazilian government. Considering that there are 3,987,424 enrollments in private institutions, the effectiveness of the programs for scholarships and tuition loans is still insufficient to meet the universal benefits for the students needs. Evening courses became the real instrument of social inclusion for many Brazilian youths and must be expanded quantitatively and qualitatively, with aggressive public policies, including also, scholarships and tuition loans.

In humans, psychic and motor skills are interdependent, and therefore, cannot fail to take into account the influence of a good psychomotor development in the prevention of learning difficulties. Another factor that interferes with the learning process is the social. Family problems, socioeconomic status of the child, among others, may be associated with learning difficulties and, consequently, the student's performance. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate through the elements of psychomotor, if a delay in neuropsychomotor development may be related to the presence of learning problems in children entering elementary school. Also, determine whether there were differences regarding the presence or absence of these difficulties in students from middle and low social class and have family problems or not. For this, we analyzed two classes of 49 students from 1 year of elementary education at a public school in the city of Bauru/SP, aged between 6 and 7 years. These students were tested for the ENE proposed by Lefvre (1976) to assess the maturity of the nervous system. A pre-designed questionnaire was answered by the teachers of classes to know students' academic performance, learning difficulties presented by them, social status and the presence of family problems. All students participating in the survey had the term sheet signed by the parents, allowing participation in the study. To reach the results, we applied the Anova and Tukey test for comparison analysis of mean age in the performance of ENE. To investigate the existence of a relationship between performance in the ENE and learning difficulties, we used the calculation of Pearson correlation. To analyze the difference in average scores of learning disabilities in students from different social classes and among those who had family problems or not, comparative graphs were used with the averages obtained from the questionnaire answered by the teachers for each learning...

Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar a relao entre diferentes nveis de plumbemia e o repertrio de habilidades sociais, problemas de comportamento e competncia acadmica de crianças e adolescentes. Participaram 155 crianças e adolescentes, com idade mdia de 13,10 anos, pertencentes a trs grupos: alta plumbemia (superior a 10g/dl), baixa plumbemia (inferior a 5g/dl) e que viviam em ambiente similar, mas livre da contaminao por chumbo (grupo de comparao). Foram utilizados os instrumentos SSRS-BR e o IHSA-Del-Prette, respondidos pelos participantes e seus professores. Identificou-se comprometimento no repertrio comportamental, acadmico e social, associado ao nvel de plumbemia. Esses resultados evidenciam os riscos associados exposio ao chumbo. So discutidas explicaes para alguns resultados contraditrios, levantando-se hipteses e questes para novos estudos.

O Estatuto da Criana e do Adolescente (ECA) preconiza que crianças e adolescentes so sujeitos de direitos e que esses direitos precisam ser obrigatoriamente assegurados e efetivados. Para que o ECA seja efetivado, se faz necessrio o conhecimento e compreenso sobre o que esse documento prev. Assim, chama-se as instituies formadoras a assumirem seu o compromisso ticopoltico de formao da sociedade. Reflete-se, portanto, sobre a inquestionvel necessidade da utilizao de estudos e pesquisas dentro das Universidades para que se possa construir espaos de formao diferenciados. Neste contexto, a pesquisa desse Trabalho de Concluso de Curso objetivou uma anlise sobre a formao e influncia na vida profissional e pessoal de alunos universitrios que participaram de um curso de extenso denominado Formao de Agentes Sociais, Professores e alunos em Polticas de atendimento a Criana e ao Adolescente. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, com a utilizao de trs instrumentos de coleta de dados: um questionrio inicial; observao e registro em Dirio de Campo e entrevista individual semi-estruturada. Na anlise dos dados, tem-se que a maioria dos sujeitos participantes da pesquisa afirmou que foram atendidas muitas de suas expectativas, que tiveram bom aproveitamento do curso, e que o mesmo trouxe grandes contribuies para seus processos de formao acadmica, pessoal e profissional. Os resultados desse trabalho tambm indicaram a necessidade de que os contedos referentes ao ECA e a poltica de atendimento a criana e ao adolescente sejam incorporados aos cursos de formao bsica profissional
