Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo levantar a literatura sobre economia do meio ambiente e suas linhas de pensamento, para comparar sua aplicabilidade em relação às políticas públicas relacionadas à gestão de resíduos sólidos. No primeiro capítulo são apresentadas as principais correntes da economia do meio ambiente. A seguir, no capitulo segundo, colocamos o Brasil no cenário da problemática ambiental, e então, dos resíduos sólidos, contemplando as legislações vigentes no Estado de São Paulo e no Brasil, além de introduzir o conceito do resíduo sólido. O capítulo final apresenta os resultados país por fontes especializadas nos últimos anos, e a tendência que as políticas públicas poderiam seguir para uma melhor gestão dos resíduos sólidos

Understanding the territorial transformations is important to the geographic knowledge, especially when it is related to structural questions as agrarian one. In this way, the land acquisition to agrarian reform enables us to understand some of these transformations, represented by territorialization of landless workers in rural settlements, that are concrete results of the struggle for land that boost the policies of agrarian reform in our country. The renewal of the agrarian structure is fundamental to the concept of land reform and also provides that advances social, political, cultural, economic, etc. Classified as a country with rates of the highest land concentration in the world, Brazilian government attempts to base his actions to take in the expropriation of land the main character of the land reform. However, new policies have been gradually used to obtaining the rural settlements, in a process that Fernandes (2010) called the reconceptualization of land reform. Starting in 1985, Brazil has 63% of the beneficiaries of land reform policies settled on expropriated land, the rest is a result of incorporation policies such as land regularization, of land reform and land purchase. Such policies generate changes in agrarian structure, that is the goal of land reform, but don´t concentrate to the land ownership. This attitude of the state in coping with the agrarian question is his response to the pressures of capitalist agriculture represented by landowners and agribusiness, coping catching an intense and uneven territorial dispute with peasant agriculture, in an attempt to impose its model of development for the field. The aimed of this present study is to understand better the land reform acquisition and its implications in the Brazilian territory, in order to understand it in their multiplicity.

This work aims at presenting the historical and social path traversed in Brazil since slavery until the implementation of affirmative public policies to promote racial equality, at the local level, in the municipality of Presidente Prudente-SP. Therefore, the starting point was the equal rights guaranteed by the Constitution. As a result, there was a brief historical path of national trajectory, starting from slavery to the so-called cordial racism, seeking to demonstrate the route of racial discrimination in the country. Later, we made notes about the necessity and debate on public policy statements of various fields, were made explicit in the text and the articles of the Constitution which prescribe the crime of racism and some of the situations that were highlighted in the national media. The focus in the city of Presidente Prudente was through historical research, interviews, photographic records and documents that informed about the presence of black people in the city. From these data, based on previous research, it was possible to trace the formation and development of the Black Movement in the city and thus point the way to the formation of this City Council for Racial Equality and the need for application of affirmative action policies for the municipality by hereby. Data from the 2000 Census and 2010 indicate the demand of Presidente Prudente as the percentage of blacks self-declared grew this decade. The main demands are paring the areas of Health since the rate of black women Administrative Region (RA) of Presidente Prudente who die in puerperium and high; Education through enhanced, by the Municipal Education Law No. 10,639, and due attention to african-Brazilian culture by respecting the religious manifestations of African origin among others... Public Relations is an area of communication that has many definitions given by both professional associations and by many authors. Academic and professional discussions on a precise definition of the area are recurrent. Considering this issue, it was decided to study the relationship between public relations and communications agencies, assuming that this is a market segment that includes the public relations. This paper analyzes the discourses of communication agencies and how the Public Relations are handled by them. For this, it was used theories about the history of public relations as well as definitions and concepts of its main authors. Furthermore, we present the characteristics of communication agencies, the contexts associated with its emergence in Brazil and the future prospects of this market segment in the opinion of the professionals who work in it. The study about the discourses of communications agencies was based on French Discourse Analysis, using books from important authors of the area, such as José Fiorin and Helna Brandão. The discourses analyzed were those present on websites of three communications agencies in the state of Sao Paulo. It was noted that not always the participation of public relations in communication agencies is highlighted, although the services of these agencies are based on techniques and typical functions of Public Relations. Above all, what the discourses are seeking to highlight are the experience and expertise in organizational communication owned by its staff

The main idea of this paper is to outline a brief overview about the fashion world from its evolution in the world and in Brazil, including also its growth in the Brazilian economy. From this point, the paper aims to show the relevance of the Public Relations professionals in the fashion market, which needs, more than anything of professionals who are capable and specialized in the relationship between the company and its target market, and in the service for customers who are more and more demanding when talking about quality of customer services

The demographic census is the largest and most important socioeconomic research of the country since it portrays the situation closer to the reality of the population. Their result allows public policy making aimed at improving the quality of life, socioeconomic development and provides information for decision making on public and private sector. Due to the large amount of data collected, the processing of such information requires increasingly use information technology to facilitate processing. Therefore, the increasingly common use of the Geographic Information System (GIS) in various fields of knowledge contributes to the job achievement given its ability to collect, store, retrieve and view data. Following this trend, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statics (IBGE) also used this tool in the development of cartographic inputs, wich plays a key role for the data collection range nationwide

O presente trabalho procura entender como a globalização, através da diversidade cultural, pode interferir na vida profissional das pessoas. Tendo como objeto de estudo as disparidades culturais encontradas na IBM Brasil, o trabalho apresenta conceitos da globalização e indaga suas principais consequências na multinacional em questão. Busca identificar as mudanças necessárias no processo de adequação às diferenças culturais entre países e pessoas, entender como as diferenças interculturais podem afetar a vida dos funcionários e como eles aprenderam a lidar com essas diferenças. De modo geral, procura identificar se a globalização fez com que os profissionais se adequassem às diferenças intercontinentais ou se a própria globalização selecionou os profissionais mais adequados ao mercado global

The field of social communication, especially the one of Public Relations, seems to be unknown and not so recognized and explored in Brazil, even though these professionals are trained to operate in different kinds of organizations. Because of that, it is important for the Public Relations to know the demands of the market he or she wants to work on. Therefore, an exploratory study was conducted in agencies in São José dos Campos, São Paulo. The project objectives are to identify the communicational demands from the communication agencies’ point of view, get to know the work field for Public Relations, verify if the professional attends the market demands and identify market needs in communication. The methodology used was: bibliographical search of theories concerning organizational communication, communication agencies and Public Relations; and a field research in five agencies that provide services related to organizational communication, for recognizing reality. The data obtained shows that organizational communication is a growing field and in which the Public Relation has much to contribute, but unawareness of the profession results in a small number of professionals working in the area

This work has as main objective to discuss the participation of professional public relations in the environment of communications agencies, based on experience of creating an experimental agency to participate in the challenge Overtime, sponsored by RPjr (junior company relations public), UNESP Bauru. In this sense there is the search for understanding of how globalization is changing the characteristics of the capitalist market today, also changing the manner of organizations and what is expected of their employees. There is an analysis and contextualization of the emergence of communication agencies in Brazil and what are their types, their structures and mode of action. The figure of the public relations professional in this context appears to help the agencies, through their knowledge and tools to plan better and return to their edges that looks just forgotten several times, allowing them to promote strategic actions each time better and more objective, thereby improving their results

After a long period of military dictatorship, the Brazilian people, following the redemocratization in the late 1980s, experimented the possibility of electing their political representatives. This experience of democracy and citizenship included in the electoral process, now, appear as one of the main challenges to make the Brazilian public schools more democratic and participative, through the election of school managers. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the historical aspects of the process of electing representatives in Brazil and the possibilities of direct elections for school managers. At first recovering the struggle of the Brazilian society in search of an effective political participation and, subsequently, pointing out the limits and possibilities of the introduction of direct elections for school managers as a mechanism to consolidate a more democratic school.

In present article, we present reflections on the process of closing public schools in the countryside in Brazil. Through bibliographical survey, as well as documental research, we carried out a retrospective analysis of the historical moment in which the implementation of policies of mass education directed to people living in rural areas occurs. We have also sought to raise socio-political-economic aspects of the moment in which the process of closing these schools is intensified. The results obtained suggest possible implications of this closure policy, in addition to indicating some of the challenges posed to the public policy of education in the country; for example, the Brazilian federal context and the budget limitations imposed to subnational governments with regard to the funding of school education, particularly in relation to small municipalities and/or municipalities with low tax revenues. This situation quite often occurs because these municipalities present reduced budgets, depending largely on transfers of financial resources from other spheres of the Government, either federal or state, the so-called intergovernmental budgetary transfers; namely, the Municipalities Participation Fund. Such issues demand the resumption of debates about the federative pact, in particular with regard to fiscal federalism, given that the financial capacity of each subnational government is crucial to the implementation of educational policies.
