During the period of the post-glacial transgression maximum (PGTM), there was a huge trumpet estuary in the modern Changjiang River Delta area. The location and the shape of the Paleo-Changjiang River Estuary (PCRE) were much different from those of the present Changjiang River Estuary. The study on the change of characteristics of tidal wave in the Changjiang River mouth area since the PGTM can help to understand better the dynamic development of the Changjiang River Delta. The course curves of tidal level and tidal current velocity during a single tidal cycle for 35 points are calculated, and characteristics of tidal waves in the PCRE and its adjacent area are compared with those of tidal waves in the modern Changjiang River mouth area. The results show that the tidal waves within the PCRE and in its adjacent area during the period of the PGTM belonged to standing wave or a mixture of standing wave and progressive wave. Since then, the tidal wave in the Changjiang River mouth become gradually to be progressive wave with the PCRE being filled and the Changjiang River mouth shifting southeastwards.

The impact of the Huanghe (Yellow) River outflows on its estuary was investigated with river gauging and shipboard hydrographic observations. The river flux has been decreasing dramatically; the discharges of water and sediment in the 1990s dropped to 27.4% and 31.9% of those in the 1950s, respectively, resulting in frequent and lengthy events of downstream channel dry-up since the 1970s. There were accumulatively 897 zero-flow days during the 1990s in the river course below the Lijin Hydrological Station, 100 km upstream from the river mouth, which is 82.4% of that in 1972. As freshwater input decreases, river-borne nutrients to the estuarine increased significantly. Concentration of dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) in the 1990s was four times of that in 1950s. Changes in amount and content of the riverine inputs have greatly affected the estuarine ecosystem. Over the past several decades, sea surface temperature and salinity in the estuary and its adjacent waters increased and their distribution pattern altered in response to the reduction of freshwater inflow. The distribution of and seasonal succession in nutrient concentrations in the surface layer have also changed with a shift of river outlet and the decrease in riverine nutrient loads. Furthermore, deterioration of estuarine ecosystem by less river input has decreased primary productivity in the deltaic region waters, and in turn depressed the fishery. Numerous cores and dating show the Yangtze River has accumulated about 1.16 x 10(12) t sediment in its delta plain and proximal subaqueous delta during Holocene. High-resolution seismic profiling and coring in the southern East China Sea during 2003 and 2004 cruises has revealed an elongated (similar to 800 km) distal subaqueous mud wedge extending from the Yangtze River mouth southward off the Zhejiang and Fujian coasts into the Taiwan Strait. Overlying what appears to be a transgressive sand layer, this distal clinoform thins offshore, from similar to 40 in thickness between the 20 and 30 m water depth to < 1-2 in between 60 and 90 m water depth, corresponding to an across shelf distance of less than 100 km. Total volume of this distal mud wedge is about 4.5 x 10(11) m(3), equivalent to similar to 5.4 x 10(11) t of sediment. Most of the sediment in this mud wedge comes from the Yangtze River, with some input presumably coming from local smaller rivers. Thus, the total Yangtze-derived sediments accumulated in its deltaic system and East China Sea inner shelf have amounted to about 1.7 x 10(12) t. Preliminary analyses suggest this longshore and across-shelf transported clinoform mainly formed in the past 7000 yrs after postglacial sea level reached its mid-Holocene highstand, and after re-intensification of the Chinese longshore current system. Sedimentation accumulation apparently increased around 2000 yrs BP, reflecting the evolution of the Yangtze estuary and increased land erosion due to human activities, such as fanning and deforestation. The southward-flowing China Coastal Current, the northward-flowing Taiwan Warm Current, and the Kuroshio Current appear to have played critical roles in transporting and trapping most of Yangtze-derived materials in the inner shelf, and hence preventing the sediment escape into the deep ocean. To examine the source and preservation of organic matter in the shelf sediments of the East China Sea (ECS), we measured bulk C/N and isotopes, organic biomarkers (n-alkanes and fatty acids) and compound-specific (fatty acids) stable carbon isotope ratios in three sediment cores collected from two sites near the Changjiang Estuary and one in the ECS shelf. Contrasting chemical and isotopic compositions of organic matter were observed between the estuarine and shelf sediments. The concentrations of total n-alkanes and fatty acids in the shelf surface sediments (0-2 cm) were 5-10 times higher than those in estuarine surface sediments but they all decreased rapidly to comparable levels below the surface layer. The compositions of n-alkanes in the estuarine sediments were dominated by C-26-C-33 long-chain n-alkanes with a strong odd-to-even carbon number predominance. In contrast, the composition of n-alkanes in the shelf sediment was dominated by nC(15) to nC(22) compounds. Long-chain (> C-20) fatty acids (terrestrial biomarkers) accounted for a significantly higher fraction in the estuarine sediments compared to that in the shelf sediment, while short-chain (< C-20) saturated and unsaturated fatty acids were more abundant in the shelf surface sediments than in the estuarine sediments. Stable carbon isotopic ratios of individual fatty acids showed a general positive shift from estuarine to shelf sediments, consistent with the variations in bulk delta(CTOCTOC)-C-13. These contrasts between the estuarine and shelf sediments indicate that terrestrial organic matter was mainly deposited within the Changjiang Estuary and inner shelf of ECS. Post-depositional diagenetic processes in the surface sediments rapidly altered the chemical compositions and control the preservation of organic matter in the region.

Concentrations and carbon isotopic (C-14, C-13) compositions of black carbon (BC) were measured for three sediment cores collected from the Changjiang River estuary and the shelf of the East China Sea. BC concentrations ranged from 0.02 to 0.14 mg/g (dry weight), and accounted for 5% to 26% of the sedimentary total organic carbon (TOC) pool. Among the three sediment cores collected at each site, sediment from the Changjiang River estuary had relatively high BC contents compared with the sediments from the East China Sea shelf, suggesting that the Changjiang River discharge played an important role in the delivery of BC to the coastal region. Radiocarbon measurements indicate that the ages of BC are in the range of 6910 to 12250 years old B. P. (before present), that is in general, 3700 to 9000 years older than the C-14 ages of TOC in the sediments. These variable radiocarbon ages suggest that the BC preserved in the sediments was derived from the products of both biomass fire and fossil fuel combustion, as well as from ancient rock weathering. Based on an isotopic mass balance model, we calculated that fossil fuel combustion contributed most (60%. 80%) of the BC preserved in these sediments and varied with depth and locations. The deposition and burial of this "slow-cycling" BC in the sediments of the East China Sea shelf represent a significant pool of carbon sink and could greatly influence carbon cycling in the region.

Well-dated, high-resolution records of planktonic foraminifera and oxygen isotopes from two sediment cores, A7 and E017, in the middle Okinawa Trough reveal strong and rapid millennial-scale climate changes since similar to 18 to 17 thousand years before present (kyr B.P.). Sedimentation rate shows a sudden drop at similar to 11.2 cal. kyr B.P. due to a rapid rise of sea level after the Younger Dryas (YD) and consequently submergence of the large continental shelf on the East China Sea (ECS) and the retreat of the estuary providing sediment to the basin. During the last deglaciation, the relative abundance of warm and cold species of planktonic foraminifera fluctuates strongly, consistent with the timing of sea surface temperature (SST) variations determined from Mg/Ca measurements of planktonic foraminifera from one of the two cores. These fluctuations are coeval with climate variation recorded in the Greenland ice cores and North Atlantic sediments, namely Heinrich event 1 (H1), Bolling-Allerod (B/A) and YD events. At about 9.4 kyr B.P., a sudden change in the relative abundance of shallow to deep planktonic species probably indicates a sudden strengthening of the Kuroshio Current in the Okinawa Trough, which was synchronous with a rapid sea-level rise at 9.5-9.2 kyr B.P. in the ECS, Yellow Sea (YS) and South China Sea (SCS). The abundance of planktonic foraminiferal species, together with Mg/Ca based SST, exhibits millennial-scale oscillations during the Holocene, with 7 cold events (at about 1.7, 2.3-4.6, 6.2, 7.3, 8.2, 9.6, 10.6 cal. kyr BP) superimposed on a Holocene warming trend. This Holocene trend, together with centennial-scale SST variations superimposed on the last deglacial trend, suggests that both high and low latitude influences affected the climatology of the Okinawa Trough. Locating the quantitized natural sediment fingerprints is an important work for marine sediment dynamics study. The total of 146 sediment samples were collected from the Shelf of the East China Sea and five rivers, including Huanghe (Yellow), Changjiang (Yangtze), Qiantang, Ou and Min River. The sediment grain size and the contents of rare earth elements (REEs) were measured with laser particle size analyzer and ICP-MS technology. The results show that absolute REE content (Sigma REE) and the concentration ratio of light REEs to heavy REEs (L/HREE) are different in the sediments among those rivers. There are higher REE contents in being less than 2 m and 2-31 mu m fractions in the Changjiang Estuary surface sediments. The REE contents of bulk sediment are dominated by the corresponding values of those leading size-fractions. Sigma REE of sediment is higher close to the estuaries and declines seaward on the inner shelf of the East China Sea (ECS). The L/HREE ratio has a tendency of increase southward from 28 degrees N. Hydrodynamic conditions plays a predominate role on spacial distributions of the surficial sediment's REE parameters. In some situations, the currents tend to remove the coarser light grains from initial populations, as well as the deposit of the finer heavy mineral grains. In other situations, the currents will change the ratio of sediment constituents, such as ratio between silts and clays in the sediments. As a result, the various values of Sigma REE or L/HREE ratio in different bulk sediments are more affected by the change of size-fractions than source location. Under the long-term stable hydrodynamic environment, i.e., the East China Sea Shelf, new sediment transport model based on the size and density gradation concept may help to understand the spatial distribution patterns of REE parameters.

Global warming has become a notable trend especially since an abrupt climate change in 1976. Response of the East China Sea (ECS) to the global warming trend, however, is not well understood because of sparse long-term observation. In this paper, hydrographic observation data of 1957-1996 are collected and reviewed to study climatological variability in northern ECS. Significant warming trends are found in both summer and winter. In summer, the average SST is about 0.46A degrees C higher during the period of 1977-1996 than that of 1957-1976, and the Taiwan Warm Current Water (TWCW) was strengthened. In winter, despite of the cooling effect in the coastal areas adjacent to the Changjiang (Yangtze) River Estuary (CRE), the average SST increase was about 0.53A degrees C during the same period. The causes of this SST warming up in summer are different from in winter. The warming trend and intensification of the TWCW in summer were primarily influenced by the strengthening of the Kuroshio transport, while the warming in winter was mainly induced by the variability of the climate system.

Seasonal variations of water exchange in the Luzon Strait are studied numerically using the improved Princeton Ocean Model (POM) with a consideration of the effects of connectivity of South China Sea (SCS) and monsoons. The numerical simulations are carried out with the strategy of variable grids, coarse grids for the Pacific basin and fine grids for the SCS. It. is shown that the Mindoro Strait plays an important role in adjusting the water balance between the Pacific and the SCS. The SCS monsoon in summer seasons hinders the entrance of the Pacific water into the SCS through the Luzon Strait while the SCS monsoon in winter seasons promotes the entrance of Pacific water into the SCS through the Luzon Strait. However, the SCS monsoon does not affect the annual mean Luzon Strait transport, as is mainly determined by the Pacific basin wind.

研究胶州湾浮游植物的物种组成与时空分布的特点,对于了解该湾生态系统的现状与历史变化趋势以及生态系统对自然条件变化和人类干扰的响应具有重要意义。 本文根据2004年每月一次采集的浮游植物样品,分析了胶州湾浮游植物的物种组成和优势种的时空分布情况。调查发现浮游植物共142种,分属于6门53属,其中硅藻门40属113种,占总物种数的79.6%;甲藻门10属24种,占总物种数的16.9%;其它为金藻门1属2种,裸藻1属1种,绿藻1属2种。浮游植物丰度周年波动范围为11.12-14602.39×104cells/m3,全年平均为1857.55×104cells/m3。全年丰度最高的藻为环纹劳德藻(Lauderia annulata),出现在2月份,而全年的丰度最高值也出现在2月份。在胶州湾中,硅藻所占比例最大,平均为97.44%,最高为99.95%,最低为82.55%。浮游植物的丰度的周年变化:有两个高峰,分别出现在2月份和10月份,是典型的温带海域双高峰的分布形式。 胶州湾浮游植物的优势种分析,采用Kikvidze等(2002)提出的确定优势种数量的计算方法,再依据各物种的优势度排序最终确定优势种。其中在多样性最低的6月和10月,优势种数目均为1种,分别为丹麦细柱藻(Leptocylindrus danicus)和中肋骨条藻(Skeletonema costatum)。而在多样性指数较低的1月、2月,优势种数目分别为2和3;而在物种多样性比较高的5月、7月、11月,由于分布相对比较分散,所以优势种数量较多。这说明这个方法可以较好地完成对胶州湾浮游植物群落分析时确定优势种的目标。优势种出现频率较多的种类为中肋骨条藻(1、3、4、5、8、10、11、12月)、洛氏角毛藻(Chaetoceros lorenzianus)(7、8、9、11、12月)、尖刺拟菱形藻(Pseudonitzschia pungens)(2、3、5、7月)、加拉星杆藻(Asteronella kariana)(1、2、3、5月)、密联角毛藻(Chaetoceros densus)(5、11、12月)、扭鞘藻(Streptothece thamesis)(7、8、9月)、夜光藻(Noctiluca scintillancs)(4、5、7月)、奇异菱形藻(Nitzschia paradoxa)(5、11、12月),对这些种的时空分布进行了分析。 对2004年胶州湾的浮游植物数据进行分层聚类分析后,发现可以将胶州湾划分为三个海区:湾南与湾外海区、湾中西部海区、湾东海区。

浮游动物是河口生态系统的重要组成部分,在食物网中,浮游动物是浮游植物捕食者,对浮游植物有摄食压力,所以控制浮游植物数量的增长。同时,浮游动物还是鱼类的饵料,从而影响渔业资源的数量。长江口是各种经济鱼、虾和蟹的重要产卵场、索饵场和洄游场。长江口各个分汊的分流量的差异较大,导致不同分汊的水文环境明显不同,其中最为明显就是北港和北支水域。然而以往对浮游动物的研究仅限于某一水域,没有对整体水域进行研究,本文选择最具代表性的北港和北支水域,对两水域浮游动物的群落生态特征进行比较研究。 本论文的数据来源于2004年5、8、11月和2005年2月在长江口北港和北支水域4个航次的海洋综合调查资料。通过采用优势度和优势种贡献率等生态学指标,同时结合逐步回归分析,讨论了温、盐与浮游动物总丰度变化的关系。结果表明,就四季而言,浮游动物总丰度和盐度呈显著正相关,和温度负相关。而就单个季节而言,除了5月和2月落潮,总丰度和盐度均呈显著正相关,与温度相关关系不显著。调查水域优势种主要为河口半咸水种或近海种。北港的盐度约为0-5, 表现为长江淡水特征;北支的盐度约为12-28,表现为长江径流和外海水团混合水团的特征。上述优势种的盐度适应和水团分布特征决定了长江口浮游动物分布的时空变化,即盐度较高的水域往往有较高的丰度,北支的总丰度和生物量均大于北港。此外,在长江口口内水域,水温较低的枯水期,浮游动物丰度高于水温较高的丰水期,温度的季节波动,以及主要优势种中华华哲水蚤(Sinocalanus sinensis)对低温环境的适应,是调查水域浮游动物总丰度季节变化的重要因素。 另一方面,本论文通过物种多样性、累积优势度曲线等群落水平的指标和相似性检验分析(ANOSIM),对长江口北港和北支浮游动物群落及其主要优势种的差异,以及主要生态因子对浮游动物群落的影响进行了分析。结果表明,北港主要由潮汐影响的淡水和低盐水组成,北支由中、高盐水组成。春季,北港浮游动物丰度和多样性均低于北支,主要优势种为中华华哲水蚤;北支优势种种数较多,主要是真刺唇角水蚤(Labidocera euchaeta)。夏季,北港和北支的多样性较接近,但是种类组成差别较大,北港以中华华哲水蚤和太平洋纺锤水蚤(Acartia pacifica)为主构成河口半咸水群落,北支以由火腿许水蚤(Schmackeria poplesia)、虫肢歪水蚤(Tortanus vermiculus)和太平洋纺锤水蚤等构成河口低盐群落。秋季,北港的丰度和多样性均低于北支,两个水域的群落差异明显,北港主要由中华华哲水蚤构成,北支由小拟哲水蚤(Paracalanus parvus)、针刺拟哲水蚤(Paracalanus aculeatus)、真刺唇角水蚤和中华哲水蚤(Calanus sinicus)等近岸和外海种组成。冬季,两个水域种数和多样性均较低,群落差别达四季最小,中华华哲水蚤占绝对优势。温度和盐度及其相互作用是决定长江口浮游动物群落特征的最主要因素。其中温度是造成研究水域浮游动物群落季节变化的主要因素,而由径流和外海水之间的消长引起的盐度变化是造成北港和北支浮游动物群落区域变化的决定因素。

本文根据1999年-2007年间7个航次的长江口及其邻近海域的鱼类浮游生物和环境因子的调查资料,探讨了三峡工程蓄水前后长江口鱼类浮游生物群落特征,主要包括长江口鱼类浮游生物的种类组成、数量变动、群落多样性、空间分布格局等,分析了三峡工程蓄水前后长江口鱼类浮游生物群落结构的动态变化,为评价三峡工程对河口生态环境及鱼类补充资源的影响提供科学依据,研究结果如下: 1.三峡工程蓄水前春季(1999年5月和2001年5月)共捕获11540个鱼类浮游生物隶属11目18科32种,其中凤鲚(Coilia mystus)、鳀(Engraulis japonicus)、六丝矛尾鰕虎鱼(Chaeturichthys hexanema)、白氏银汉鱼(Allanetta bleekeri)、松江鲈(Trachidermis fasciatus)为优势种;鱼类浮游生物群落可划分为三个类群:①以凤鲚为优势种的河口群组,②以松江鲈和白氏银汉鱼为优势种的沿岸群组,③以鳀和六丝矛尾鰕虎鱼为优势种的近海群组;盐度、深度、溶解氧和悬浮体是影响这一海域鱼类浮游生物分布的主要环境因子。 2.三峡工程蓄水后春季长江口的环境因子总体分布格局没有改变,部分环境因子表现出数量上的差异:溶解氧含量偏低,COD平均值下降,pH值显著上升,盐度升高,河道水域和口门附近悬浮体下降,长江口鱼类生物群聚栖息环境发生了变化。三峡工程蓄水后春季(2004年5月和2007年5月)共采获的25种鱼类浮游生物,总丰度(1 070个)仅为蓄水前(11 540)的10%,4种优势种白氏银汉鱼、凤鲚、松江鲈和鳀贡献了总丰度的94.57%;蓄水后影响长江口鱼类浮游生物格局的主要环境因子是盐度和悬浮体,蓄水后长江口鱼类浮游生物群聚类型(河口型、沿岸型和近海型)与蓄水前一致,但沿岸型空间分布区域明显减少,近海型分布区域向河口方向扩展。长江口环境因子中,盐度和悬浮体是蓄水前后鱼类浮游生物群聚变异的主要影响因素。 3.三峡工程蓄水前后春季四次调查共记录鱼类浮游生物39种,生态类型包括淡水、半咸水、沿岸和近海。春季长江口鱼类浮游生物优势种包括鯷、凤鲚、白氏银汉鱼、松江鲈和六丝矛尾鰕虎鱼,2004年和2007年鯷、凤鲚优势地位有所下降。长江口鱼类浮游生物群落结构年度间差异显著,以2004年长江口鱼类浮游生物群落结构与1999和2001年相异性最高,鯷和凤鲚种群数量变动对其群落变异的贡献率最大,群落相似性以2004和2007年最高,达71.17%。与蓄水前相比,三峡水库蓄水后的长江口鱼类浮游生物群落多样性显著下降。1999—2007年间,长江口发生了一系列环境环境条件变化,直接或间接的环境干扰带来了长江口鱼类生物群落结构变异。 4.2007年四个航次(春、夏、秋、冬)共捕获鱼类浮游生物6,463个, 隶属12目28科45种, 以鳀科丰度最高, 占总丰度的76.5%。长江口鱼类浮游生物包括4种生态类型: 淡水型(2种), 半咸水型(14种), 沿岸型(10种)和近海型(16种)。其中, 近海型物种个体数量最多, 占2007年长江口鱼类浮游生物总丰度的74.55%。鳀在4个季节均有出现, 对长江口鱼类浮游生物丰度贡献最大。鱼类浮游生物在物种组成上存在明显的季节变化: 白氏银汉鱼在春季占绝对优势, 鳀是夏季优势度最高的种类, 秋季除鳀外, 前颌间银鱼(Hemisalanx prognathus)成为优势种; 鱼类浮游生物丰度高度集中在优势种上, 各季节优势种对总丰度贡献超过89%。群落物种数量、丰度、丰富度指数、均匀度指数和多样性指数, 在夏季最高, 春季和秋季次之, 冬季最低。2007年长江口鱼类浮游生物的群落格局在空间上分为三个不同的群组:河口、沿岸、外海,并且这种分布随长江冲淡水的季节变化而变化。盐度是影响决定长江口鱼类浮游生物群落空间分布的最重要因子,而温度则是影响其季节性结构变化的主要因子。此外,生殖洄游和索饵洄游也是影响鱼类浮游生物群落结构时间变化的重要因子。

本文收集了三峡截流前后长江口海区1988-2007年间十二景landsat TM遥感影像并进行了表层悬浮泥沙含量的反演,定性的描述了长江口海区洪、枯季的表层悬沙扩散外界和高浑浊水域范围的变化趋势,分析了河流泥沙输移入海形态的变化特征及表层悬沙浓度的变化特征。 通过对2002-2004年在长江口滨外区表层悬浮体取样数据的实验室处理,揭示了三峡截流后表层悬沙的分布特征;通过多船同步定点观测捕捉到了长江口河口锋带的位置并分析了河口锋带的动力特征,结果表明:长江口河口锋位于(122o10′E,30o50′N)至(122o20′E,31o00′N)一线附近,在河口锋带位置有着较为强烈的河海相互作用,流速不符合典型的对数流速曲线,河水与海水的相互消长局限于海面以下5m的表层范围,在河口锋面区悬浮泥沙为泥沙流伏在海水之上输运。长江口悬沙体浓度由于三峡蓄水作用表现为下降趋势,悬浮体扩散范围相比截流前向口门后退,长江口滨外区羽状锋带随之向口门后退。 利用二维潮流数值模型较成功地模拟出了每个季度长江河口外的流场情况及河口锋带的发育情况,模拟表明:春、夏、秋三季河口锋带较易出现,且小潮期间发育最好。冬季长江河口海洋动力较强,易于发生海水入侵,尤其是北支;夏季是长江三角洲的主要建设期,锋带作用的存在使得泥沙大部分在锋带的内外区域沉积;春秋两季是平衡期;冬季主要是冲刷的时期。

根据长江口及其邻近海域鱼类群落的历史调查资料,综合运用主成分分析(PCA)、无偏对应分析(DCA)和典范对应分析(CCA)等群落排序方法,以及双向指示种分析(TWINSPAN)等数量分类方法,分析了1998-2004年长江口鱼类群落结构,以及其相关环境因子的变化特征。从群落和环境两方面,分别探讨了其空间分布、时间动态和季节变化的特征,并着重讨论了环境因子对群落特征的影响程度。结果表明: 在空间分布上,自近岸到外海的水深、盐度、浊度、透明度、营养盐和悬浮物这一综合梯度,与鱼类丰度关系最密切。近岸区以营养盐丰富、初级生产力高等特点,为近岸的广盐性和半咸水鱼类提供了充足的食物来源;以高浊度和高溶解氧浓度,提供了良好的庇护所。外海区鱼类种类丰富,但丰度较低。南北方向上大致以31°30′N为界,鱼类群聚在特定季节表现出明显的空间分化。 在时间动态上,1998-2004年长江口及邻近海域生态环境的改变,驱动了鱼类群落的演替,具体表现为:三峡水库蓄水前,群落主控因子为水深、底层水温和底层溶解氧,蓄水后主控因子为表底层pH值、表层温度和表层溶解氧;蓄水后冲淡水量的减少导致海域内盐度升高,悬浮物的减少改善了浮游植物生长的光照条件;与此相关,春季和秋季鱼类群聚均发生了显著变化,海洋性鱼类和浮游生物食性鱼类在群落中比重分别有所增加。 在季节变化上,冬季环境以低水温、高溶解氧为突出特点,夏季则反之;春季表层pH值显著高于其他季节,而表底层温度与秋季相比偏低;秋季环境条件接近中等水平。受此影响,鱼类群落发生明显的季节性演替,主要表现为鱼类丰度的波动、物种组成和优势种组成的更替,以及各功能群相对比例的此消彼长。

近年来,东中国海赤潮灾情严重,且74.7%的赤潮集中在 30°30′~32°00′N、122°15′~123°10′E的“赤潮高发区”。在研究该区赤潮成因时,长江口沿岸上升流的影响越来越受到人们的关注,并被一些专家观测和研究。但目前为止,针对该区营养盐动力学特征及其对叶绿素a影响的研究较少,且不系统。 本文根据2004年四个季度月的调查资料,系统地探讨了长江口上升流区营养盐动力学特征;估算了上升流的营养盐通量,并和陆源输入通量进行了比较。初步探讨了上升流对该区营养盐结构和浮游植物生长的影响。为深入研究长江口富营养化和赤潮形成机制提供了参考。 结果表明春季在122°20′~123°00′E,31°00′~32°00′N以北海域存在低温、高盐、低溶解氧的沿岸上升流。它不但可把底层高含量磷酸盐输送到10m层以上海区,而且还为上层海区输入了相对低含量硝酸盐和硅酸盐,从而改善了上层营养盐结构,使得营养盐比值接近Redfield Ratios,同时还改善了上层的透明度;从而有利于浮游植物的繁殖。夏季上升流受到强大的长江冲淡水压制,表现不如春季明显,主体水团出现在122°20′~123°00′E,31°15′~31°50′N海区10m层以下。 在秋、冬季,上升流现象被更强的对流现象所掩盖,表现为台湾暖流表层水的入侵。表、底层水域不仅温、盐度分布十分接近,而且营养盐结构差异也较小。冬季台湾暖流水中的磷酸盐含量远比秋季高,与春、夏季上升流水团中磷酸盐含量接近。硝酸盐和硅酸盐含量比秋季稍高,比春、夏季上升流水团中的含量稍低。 叶绿素a季节性分布表明,在春、夏季的10m层以下水域,叶绿素a受到透明度限制,含量相差不大;而在表层和10m层之间,春季叶绿素a的含量远高于夏季,说明春季的营养盐结构和自然条件更有利于浮游植物的繁荣生长。在秋季台湾暖流水影响的区域,表层叶绿素a含量较夏季稍低。而冬季该区叶绿素a含量则是最低的。 对长江口上升流水团春季营养盐通量的计算结果表明,上升流水团中磷酸盐输送通量远远高于长江径流输入,是其径流通量的两倍以上,可能会成为影响该海区磷酸盐分布以及浮游植物生长的一个值得关注的因素。 关键词:上升流,营养盐动力学,营养盐结构,叶绿素a,长江冲淡水
