Helburuak: Ikasmaterial hau Euskal Herriko Unibertsitateko (UPV/EHU) Bilboko Ingeniaritza Goi Eskola Teknikoan (IGET) Makina Hidraulikoak irakasgaian 2004-2005 ikasturtetik 2010-2011 ikasturtera bitartean proposatu diren azterketetako enuntziatuen bilduma bat da. Ariketa horietan, makina hidrauliko guztien artean, bereziki turbomakinak landu dira helburu hauekin: Industria mailan fluidoekin lan egiten duten instalazioen eta makinen kalkuluetan trebetasuna hartzea. Ponpaketa-instalazioetan ponpen aukeraketa egitea, funtzionamendu-puntuak zehaztea, lan-baldintza egokiak zeintzuk diren ulertzea eta ager daitezkeen arazoak aurreikustea. Elektrizitatea lortzeko erabiltzen diren turbina hidraulikoen kalkuluak lantzea: aukeraketa, dimentsionaketa, funtzionamendua, antzekotasuna eta abar. Norentzat: Ikasmaterial hau Ingeniaritza Industrialeko 5. mailako Fluidoen Instalazioak eta Makinak izeneko irakasgaian erabiltzeko aproposa da. Horrez gain, Ingeniaritza Industrialeko Hidraulikari dagokion espezialitatean bereziki eta baita beste alor batzuetan ere erabilgarria izan daiteke: Fluidoen Mekanika, Instalazio Hidraulikoak... Orokorrean, Makina Hidraulikoekin zerikusia duten gaiak lantzen dituen edozein ikaslerentzat prestatutako lana da.

[EN] The purpose of this review article is to illustrate synthetic aspects of functionalized phosphorus derivatives containing an oximo moiety at the beta-position. First section will be focused on the synthesis of phosphine oxides, phosphonates or phosphonium salts containing an oxime group. The synthesis of these derivatives comprises the carbon–phosphorus single bond construction by reaction of haloximes with phosphorus derivatives, nucleophilic addition of phosphorus reagents to carbonyl compounds, or nucleophilic addition of phosphorus reagents to nitro olefins. This section will also concentrate on the most practical routes for the synthesis of the target compounds, through carbon–nitrogen double bond formation, which are as follows: condensation processes of carbonyl compounds and hydroxylamine derivatives or addition of hydroxylamines to allenes or alkynes. The preparative use of beta-oximo phosphorus derivatives as synthetic intermediates will be discussed in a second section, comprising olefination reaction, oxidation of oximes to nitrile oxides by reaction at the C-N double bond of the oxime moiety, oxidation of these substrates to nitrosoalkenes, reduction to the corresponding hydroxylamines and some reactions at the hydroxyl group of the hydroxyimino moiety.

[EN] A review focused on recent advances in intramolecular aza-Wittig reaction of phosphazenes with several carbonyl or analogous compounds is reported. Phosphazenes afford intramolecular aza-Wittig reaction with different groups within the molecule as aldehydes, ketones, esters, thioesters, amides, anhydrides and sulfimides. One of the most important applications of this reaction is the synthesis of a wide range of heterocyclic compounds, ranging from simple monocyclic compounds to complex polycyclic and macrocyclic systems.

[EN] The objective of this study was to determine whether a short training program, using real foods, would decreased their portion-size estimation errors after training. 90 student volunteers (20.18±0.44 y old) of the University of the Basque Country (Spain) were trained in observational techniques and tested in food-weight estimation during and after a 3-hour training period. The program included 57 commonly consumed foods that represent a variety of forms (125 different shapes). Estimates of food weight were compared with actual weights. Effectiveness of training was determined by examining change in the absolute percentage error for all observers and over all foods over time. Data were analyzed using SPSS vs. 13.0. The portion-size errors decreased after training for most of the foods. Additionally, the accuracy of their estimates clearly varies by food group and forms. Amorphous was the food type estimated least accurately both before and after training. Our findings suggest that future dietitians can be trained to estimate quantities by direct observation across a wide range of foods. However this training may have been too brief for participants to fully assimilate the application.

[EN] The objective of this study was to test the hypothesis that cooperative learning strategies will help to increase nutrition knowledge of nurses and nursing assistants caring for the elderly in different institutional communities of the Basque Country, Spain. The target population was a sample of volunteers, 16 nurses and 28 nursing assistants. Training consisted of 12 nutrition education sessions using cooperative strategies conducted over a period of 3 consecutive weeks. The assessment instruments included two pretest and two posttest questionnaires with questions selected in multiplechoice format. The first questionnaire was about general knowledge of applied nutrition (0-88 point scale) and the second one on geriatric nutrition knowledge (0-18 point scale). Data were analyzed using SPSS vs. 11.0. The outcomes indicated a significant increase in general nutrition knowledge (difference between the pre- and posttest mean score: 14.5±10.1; P<0.001) and in geriatric nutrition knowledge for all participants (difference between the pre- and post-test mean score: 4.6±4.6; P<0.001). So the results indicated that cooperative learning strategies could improve the nutrition knowledge of nursing staff. Additionally, the results of this study provide direction to continuing nutrition education program planners regarding appropriate content and methodology for programs.
