The ease and convenience provided by the Internet allow for the communication between the organization and its stakeholders to become rapid and effective. This fact can be good both for the organization and for the public. Keeping this in sight, the Internet as a public relations tool for communication between the organization and its stakeholders is the theme discussed throughout this study. Through bibliographic and exploratory research, this paper aims at pointing at effective tools afforded by the Internet that can be used by Public Relations. These tools can promote the relationship between organizations and its publics inserted on the Internet. In this way, the organization can influence publics in its favor. The present work investigates what strategies the Internet can contribute significantly to the field of Communication despite the fact that it is not able to completely replace traditional media

Estudo das propriedades dinâmicas e sincronização no mapa de rede de Zaslavsky

Synchronization in nonlinear dynamical systems, especially in chaotic systems, is field of research in several areas of knowledge, such as Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Biology, Physics, among others. In simple terms, two systems are synchronized if after a certain time, they have similar behavior or occurring at the same time. The sound and image in a film is an example of this phenomenon in our daily lives. The studies of synchronization include studies of continuous dynamic systems, governed by differential equations or studies of discrete time dynamical systems, also called maps. Maps correspond, in general, discretizations of differential equations and are widely used to model physical systems, mainly due to its ease of computational. It is enough to make iterations from given initial conditions for knowing the trajectories of system. This completion of course work based on the study of the map called ”Zaslavksy Web Map”. The Zaslavksy Web Map is a result of the combination of the movements of a particle in a constant magnetic field and a wave electrostatic propagating perpendicular to the magnetic field. As entrelinhas dos contos de fadas: ponte para eternizar ideologias

Literature has a role to contribute in the affective, cultural and cognitive development os chindren and it also accumulates the function to form readers among others. Among several genres, there are the fairy tales that are eternal in the western culture and they are the first genres to be read spontaneously at home or to be taught at school. As all the symbolic language, the fairy tales are steeped in ideologies. Thus, the aim of this research is to investigate if the existing ideologies in two fairy tales – Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty, both from Perrault, influence children between 9 and 10 years old as subjects. An empiric research of quantitative and qualitative approach was done and its data analysis followed the method of Content Analysis, and it has as register analysis unit the word, and of context the sentence (children’s answer). The choice os the classify the categories it was used the syntactic criteria because it’s the most appropriate to refer to register units from ideologies identified by scholars in the area. The results show that children with 9 and 10 years old are influenced by implied ideologies existing in the two fairy tales used in the process of data collection

Determinação de genes mórbidos e drogáveis a partir da construção e análise da rede integrada de interações moleculares entre genes humanos

The discovering process of new morbid genes and new target proteins for drugs have been shown to be very costly and laborious. Having in view cutting costs and speeding up this process, we propose, in this work, a new method to determine the gene druggability score and morbidity score, the probabilities of the protein encoded by the gene have the characteristics that make it a new target for drugs and in case of an alteration in that gene, we observed a phenotype that characterizes a genetic based illness. To determine these characteristics, we built, analyzed and determined the characteristics of the topology of the integrated molecular interactions network among human genes containing physical interactions between proteins, metabolic interactions and interactions of transcriptional regulation, and included other data such as level of gene transcription and cellular localization of the protein encoded by the gene. We tested our model in training sets and achieved results equal or better than the ones achieved by similar methods in the literature. Finally, with the purpose of investigating whether the assigned scores resembles the potential druggabilities and morbities of the previously unclassi ed genes, we looked for evidences in biomedical literature supporting the potential druggability and morbidity status of genes with the 10 highest scores. We found clear evidences for 73% and 90% of potential druggable and morbid genes respectively

Caracterização e origem da composição química da incrustação e simulação de cenários de perda de energia em setor da rede de abastecimento de água da cidade de Rio Claro - SP

The purpose of this work was the inlay’s characterization from the water supply networks of Rio Claro-SP city; as well analyze the influence of network’s aging in the actual system. To do this, some samples of inlays were collected and made chemistry analysis and X-Ray Diffraction Spectrometry. The history of the source water quality was also analyzed, to make possible to known the origins of the inlays. To evaluate the performance of the network, some different scenarios have been simulated, varying the resistance coefficient of the water supply networks of Rio Claro-SP. The characterization results showed that there are basically oxide and hydroxide of iron (magnetite and goethite) and quartz in the inlays, which are materials of high hardness. The hydraulic simulations indicated that the simulated scenarios had a variation of ~2000% in terms of loss of energy

Caracterização topológica dos motivos das redes biológicas integradas da Escherichia coli e da Saccharomyces cerevisiae

The reducionism method has helped in the clari cation of functioning of many biological process. However, such process are extremely complex and have emergent properties that can not be explained or even predicted by reducionism methods. To overcome these limits, researchers have been used a set of methods known as systems biology, a new area of biology aiming to understand the interactions between the multiple components of biological processes. These interactions can be represented by a mathematical object called graph or network, where the interacting elements are represented by a vertex and the interactions by edges that connect a pair of vertexes. Into graphs it is possible to nd subgraphs, occurring in complex networks at numbers that are signi cantly higher than those in randomized networks, they are de ned as motifs. As motifs in biological networks may represent the structural units of biological processess, their detection is important. Therefore, the aim of this present work was detect, count and classify motifs present in biological integrated networks of bacteria Escherichia coli and yeast Saccharomyces cere- visiae. For this purpose, we implemented codes in MathematicaR and Python environments for detecting, counting and classifying motifs in these networks. The composition and types of motifs detected in these integrated networks indicate that such networks are organized in three main bridged modules composed by motifs in which edges are all the same type. Solar energy can be considered the largest source of energy available on earth and has attracted in recent decades, attention and interest for its rational use. The use of energy sources in a sustainable manner is essential to the survival of future generations, due to the scarcity of natural resources and their exploitation in a disorderly way. Studies related to the applications of renewable sources becomes then relevant, given its great importance as regards the conscious use of resources provided by nature, with the least possible impact on it. The present study presents an evaluation of generation potential and feasibility of implementing a solar photovoltaic connected to the grid and connected to the roofs of some buildings of the Faculty of Engineering of Guaratinguetá - FEG, to supply the demand of electric energy consumption on campus and attempting to inject a possible surplus power generation in local power grid, increasing network capacity and reducing peak loads

In this study was shown the historical uses of compressed air by humanity, the general scenario of its uses and the most important steps of a project to set up an industrial network of compressed air, from the selection of a suitable compressor to the design of a distribution network, discussing all the possibilities and their characteristics as well as the feasibility of them. A case study was conducted in a food company where was implemented an industrial compressed air network. Information was collected regarding the consumers points of compressed air, as well as the layout of the new facility, necessary for the development of the distribution system. Two methods were used, analytical and nomogram, which complemented each other to the definition of appropriated tubing, both financially and physically

Políticas culturais, participação e educação: o caso da rede Arte Cultura Rio Claro - SP (2008-2012)

No atual momento as redes sociais, fazendo uso dos meios digitais/virtuais e partindo para ações no real/presencial, têm tido cada vez mais papel político importante nas transformações das relações humanas. Nestas redes há compartilhamentos de diversas informações, documentos e materiais com conteúdos que auxiliam na formação, assimilação e aprendizagem tanto pelos participantes diretos destas redes quanto pelos demais sujeitos e cidadãos influenciados pelas ideais elaboradas a partir destas redes. Este projeto pretende estudar a rede “Arte Cultura Rio Claro” no período 2008 a 2012 tendo como foco a realização da I Conferência Municipal de Política Cultural e as lutas pela criação do Conselho Municipal de Política Cultural. O trabalho abordará: as trocas e compartilhamentos entre os integrantes desta rede, a realização de encontros, reuniões, fóruns; o recebimento do Prêmio do Ministério da Cultura como ‘Articulação da Rede’ e a realização do Projeto “Tuxáua”; a realização das pré-conferências e 1ª Conferência Municipal de Política Cultural; a criação do Conselho Municipal de Política Cultural; entre outros. O objetivo do projeto é avaliar a rede como processo participativo, mostrando a relevância da política cultural para a educação não-formal de uma comunidade, principalmente por conta das pautas desta rede trazerem tanto a importância de valorizar a diversidade cultural, quanto a importância da participação cidadã nas decisões políticas

In the information society, the use of Technologies has been incorporated to our quotidian. The use of personal computers and internet, however, does not reach to all the individuals, creating the problem of digital exclusion. Nowadays, many inclusion politics are being developed to diminish the digital abyss in society, in a way to enable a plural access to the internet. Between these initiatives, we highlight the projects of digital inclusion among the elderly, slice of the population that grows more each day and seek quality of life, social reinclusion and health. In this context, the open universities for the elderly bring to the aged courses and workshops, in order to encourage the activity in this age group. An example of this idea is the Unati of UNESP Bauru, that develops the project “Terceira Idade Digital”. This work aims to analyze the relation between the elderly with certain technologies, apart from showing the digital inclusion scenario, with its delays and progresses

Estudo de uma ponte rolante comercial no transportede bobina de aço de 12 toneladas

This work aims to determine the stresses acting on the main beam of a crane to transport steel coils of up to twelve tons. To determine the stress it was made a revision of the knowledge of the mechanics of materials to apply the analytical method. Following a review of the finite element method is made to understand the same. To complete the study it was used the commercial software ANSYS to determine the stresses by finite element method, the program provides images that help to better understand the results obtained. With the results a comparison of the values of the tensions between the two methods (analytical and finite element) was made. To assist in the calculations it was used the NBR 8400, 1984 (Calculation of Lifting Equipment Load)

Estratégia Saúde da Família: implantação de uma rede em Presidente Prudente - SP

This project was developed with the aim of contributing to the construction of a system of Unidades de Saúde da Família (USFs) to Presidente Prudente, a city located in the western region of São Paulo state. It was tried to bring to the architectural space the existing guidelines for the public service with the intention of create welcoming and functional environments and a net identity. Given these characteristics it was developed a modular construction system that allows the creation of new units in an agile manner and with a minimum quality standard. Since many of Presidente Prudente’s features are present in other Brazilian cities, the guidelines presented in this proposal will be useful to the work of managers in other cities of the country

Agroecologia e redes sociais: análise da participação intersetorial. Um estudo a partir da rede de agroecologia Mantiqueira-Mogiana

O objetivo desse trabalho foi discutir a participação das diferentes instituições integrantes da Rede de Agroecologia Mantiqueira-Mogiana, organização social com enfoque no desenvolvimento comunitário coordenada pela Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (EMBRAPA), que trata da construção coletiva do aprendizado e da troca de experiências e intercâmbio de tecnologias em Agroecologia. Para tanto, foi proposto que as instituições participantes da Rede de Agroecologia respondessem um questionário que abrangia tópicos acerca da participação de tais instituições bem como de estruturação e gestão da Rede. Tendo o estudo tratado da participação das instituições, foram contatados os profissionais dessas organizações envolvidos diretamente com as atividades da Rede, por ser de conhecimento prévio que tais instituições são representadas no projeto por um determinado profissional com maior identificação pessoal com o campo da Agroecologia. Tais opiniões foram posteriormente analisadas enquanto representativas das instituições as quais esses profissionais estão vinculados. Os dados obtidos revelaram a necessidade de um acordo formal entre a Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária e as instituições participantes do projeto, o que permitiria que os profissionais pudessem participar de forma mais efetiva das atividades da Rede de Agroecologia, integrando as atividades do Colegiado Gestor com as atividades das instituições as quais esses profissionais são vinculados. Foi possível observar também que para que os objetivos de uma determinada rede de desenvolvimento comunitário sejam atingidos é necessário que estes estejam em consonância com as motivações que as instituições parceiras apresentam para participar de tal rede. Dessa forma, é possível congregar esforços de todas as partes para que o objetivo coletivo seja atingido.
