O objetivo principal desta dissertação foi o de pesquisar as causas; I) das dificuldades de implementação do Novo Ensino Médio (que estabelece no currículo nacional a interdisciplinaridade como um princípio); II) das dificuldades dos professores para com o trabalho interdisciplinar; III) da resistência dos mesmos em relação a ele. O método utilizado foi o da pesquisa bibliográfica, observando-se as posições de dois grupos de pensadores quanto ao problema discutido neste trabalho. No primeiro grupo (Foucault; Nietzsche; Hockeimer da Escola de Frankfurt e Veiga-Neto) foram indicadas para a implementação dificuldades epistemológicas, enquanto, no segundo (Marx e Santos Filho), foram apresentadas políticas, econômicas e sociológicas dificuldades a serem superadas para que se atinja o objetivo almejado no projeto educacional.(AU)

This study deals with the formation, reproduction, and the role in litigation of two branches of the legal profession, lawyers and procurators. They were the experts in charge of civil, criminal, and ecclesiastical litigation during the Old Regime. While the lawyers provided erudite legal advice, procurators oriented and drove the procedure as legal representatives of their clients. The European legal revolutions of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries forged a new legal culture in which the lawsuit was reputed to be the best way to settle disputes. Likewise, that legal culture conferred an important place to specialists as legal facilitators of the contending parties. When Castilians exported their legal system to the New World, they spread a complex and bureaucratic framework, contributing to the reproduction of a class of experts in urban spaces. Lima and Potosi, two urban centers created in the sixteenth century, quickly became significant ‘legal cities’. This dissertation explores how the legal markets of these cities operated, the careers of their specialists, their professional options, social images regarding them, and litigation costs. This study examines the careers of 267 facilitators and demonstrates that they constituted a class of distinctive legal professionals. Legal culture embodies the representation and use of law. The closeness of specialists with litigants, in particular of procurators familiarized the parties with litigation and its complex processes. These specialists forged dominant legal discourses and manipulated juridical order. Litigants were not passive agents of their specialists. Caciques and members of the Hispanicized communities appropriated the law in a visible way as the growing litigiousness illustrates. Colonial law (of a pluralistic basis) was an arena of assertion and discussion of rights by different social actors, encomenderos, leading citizens, widows, native chieftains, artisans, and commoners. This study concludes that this struggle and manipulation served to legitimate the role of those legal experts and gave birth to a complex legalistic society in the Andes under Spanish Habsburg rule.

Omnivory is a predominant feeding strategy among tropical fishes, but knowledge about its causes and consequences of this pattern is scarce. In this study we hypothesized that tropical fish feed lower in food web as a way to compensate a higher energetic demand, which increases with increasing water temperature and body size. Information about 8172 freshwater and marine fish species from whole world, from tropical and temperate ecosystems, showed that the trophic position of non-carnivore fish decreases with increasing body size in tropical but not in temperate ecosystems. This result indicates that the higher energetic demand of large-bodied tropical fish should exert a selective force in favor of omnivory. As a consequence, trophic dynamics in tropical freshwater ecosystems should have different patterns comparing to temperate ones, with major implications for water management and restoration of eutrophic aquatic ecosystems. Another hypothesis of this work was that effects of tropical omnivorous planktivorous fish on planktonic communities depend of primary producers stoichiometric composition, which depends of light availability relative to nutrients ratios. A mesocosm experiment, manipulating light availability and planktivorous fish presence, confirmed our hypothesis indicating that resource stoichiometric composition (consequently nutritional quality), determine trophic structure of pelagic food webs in tropical lakes. Finally another mesocosm experiment indicated that the removal of omnivorous benthivorous fish should be more efficient than removal of omnivorous planktivorus fish, as a way to improve water quality in tropical lakes and reservoirs. This last experiment showed that omnivorous planktivorous fish increase phytoplankton biomass due to trophic cascade interactions, without increasing nutrient concentrations in the water column. On the other hand, omnivorous benthivorous fish, feeding on detritus and other benthonic food sources and excreting nutrients in the water column, are responsible for translocate nutrient from sediments to the water column, increasing phosphorus pool and phytoplankton biomass. Thereby, internal phosphorus supply should be reduced and water quality of eutrophicated lakes could be improved by removing omnivorous benthivorous fish.

La abeja de la miel Apis mellifera es la principal especie polinizadora empleada por el hombre para aumentar la productividad de los cultivos, y además desempeña una importante función en el mantenimiento de la biodiversidad en todo el mundo. En las últimas décadas, se ha apreciado un incremento de la mortalidad de las colonias de abejas en numerosas regiones, lo que ha llevado a generar una gran alarma debido a sus potenciales repercusiones económicas y medioambientales. Este fenómeno, caracterizado por no tener una causa conocida, se ha clasificado principalemente en “Síndrome de Despoblamiento de las Colmenas” (SDC), cuando presenta una sintomatología concreta de despoblamiento de abejas adultas, o simplemente “mortalidad invernal”, cuando las colmenas no superan el invierno por causas no identificadas. Estas pérdidas se han observado también en España, el país con mayor censo de colmenas de la Unión Europea e importante productor de miel. Esta situación ha generado la necesidad de estudiar las causas de tales pérdidas. Actualmente se considera que no existe una causa única que explique esta mortalidad sino que, por el contrario, se trata de un fenómeno en el que la interacción de varios factores afecta a las colonias. Entre estos factores considerados ‘de riesgo’ destacan la mala nutrición y la escasez de recursos, la climatología adversa y el cambio climático, la exposición a pesticidas neonicotinoides empleados en los cultivos donde pecorean las abejas, la presencia de depredadores naturales y especies invasoras y la acción de los patógenos presentes en las colmenas. Entre los patógenos que pueden afectar a la abejas, destacan los virus porque a pesar de conocerse su amplia distribución y prevalencia en las colmenas y haber sido asociados con eventos de mortalidad de colonias de abejas, aún son muchos los interrogantes sobre su patogenia, cómo se ven afectados por otros factores y cómo son capaces de alterar el equilibrio con el hospedador produciendo estados patológicos...

As the beginning of the discussion about the reprimarization process of the Brazilian exportations, or about a deindustrialization process of the country foreign sales, this study purpose that the discussion, actually, should be about the existence of the commodities structural dependence as a way to face the foreign restrictions. Therefore the intention is to show that, historically, the way that the Brazilian economy has crossed for its development depends of the foreign capital, mainly in its way of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and in the balance generated by the primary products, which make us try to understand the impact of this capital for the equilibrium of the Brazilian Payment Balance and also for the economy. These points were discussed not only based on the Brazilian classic writers as Francisco Oliveira, Caio Prado Jr. and Celso Furtado, but also using the newest studies which contributes to point the causes and consequences of the external capital dependence in the actual scenario. The conclusions acquired in the end of the study, indicates the fact that the Brazilian specialization in products of low aggregated value is not recent. Brazil is, historically, a competitive country in primary products. At the same time, the country importation always was a pressure factor of the National Payments Balance, being composed by products with more aggregated value. According to some authors, this characteristic of the Brazilian Economy will be surpassed with the economic opening process, which will attract external capital making possible the modernization of the Brazilian productive sector. Therefore, we can claim that the FDI, in the way it has been inserted in the country, does not offer the opportunity to get out of the commodities dependence, as generators of the payment balances, because the country international competitive standard didn t get any important changes, keeping itself out of the step related to the global standard which has been intensified in products with more aggregated value. The changes in the national insertion standard directed to more technological products is really important to surpass the historical scenario of commodities dependence, making the country less vulnerable to external crisis.

En este trabajo se presenta la concepción aristotélica de la filosofía primera como ciencia de los principios y de las causas primeras según el libro primero de la Metafísica. Para ello, se distinguen tres momentos sucesivos que constituyen el análisis de la naturaleza y la meta que debe alcanzar esta ciencia: 1) la concepción de la sabiduría como ciencia que se ocupa de ciertos principios y causas; 2) la sabiduría como ciencia de los primeros principios y de las causas; 3) la determinación de las cuatro causas primeras como tarea de la filosofía primera. De este modo, se pretende mostrar que la Metafísica de Aristóteles es un intento para explicar las últimas cuestiones, el último porqué, indicando cuatro géneros diferentes de respuesta.

Contexto: O estudo da Satisfação Profissional (SP) é um tema actual que tem despertado a atenção de vários investigadores. Sendo um tema bastante complexo, os investigadores têm procurado compreender as diversas determinantes da SP, considerando que só dessa forma os gestores das organizações estarão em condições de desenvolver estratégias que promovam o nível de satisfação dos seus colaboradores. Objetivos: Identificar quais os factores que contribuem para a SP da amostra. Método: O estudo teve por base uma bateria de três questionários, de administração direta, aplicados aos trabalhadores de duas fábricas da região centro. Para avaliar a SP recorreu-se ao “Job Discriptive Index” (JDI) adaptado à população portuguesa por Jesuíno, Sockza e Matoso (1983), e à Escala de Satisfação Organizacional, desenvolvida por Jorge Vala e colaboradores (1995). Para apurar as caraterísticas sociodemográficas da amostra fez-se uso ainda de um questionário construído pelos autores do estudo para o efeito. A amostra final é constituída por trabalhadores de duas empresas (N=52) - 24 da empresa “P” e 28 da empresa “B”, num total de 48 homens (92,3%) e 4 mulheres (7,7%), com prevalência de idades entre 31-40 anos (32,7%). O estudo teve a duração de dois semestres, e desenvolvido em quatro fases distintas: Fase conceptual, metodológica, Empírica e Reflexiva1. Resultados: Os resultados demonstram que a SP é mais influenciada por factores de ordem profissional e socioprofissionais, nomeadamente: relacionamento do trabalhador com a chefia, relacionamento do trabalhador com os colegas do mesmo nível, perspetivas de promoção, tempo de serviço e o tipo de vínculo contratual. Dos factores sociodemográficos, verificamos que a idade e o estado civil exercem influência moderada sobre a satisfação. Conclusão: Os resultados obtidos devem ser analisados como preliminares, passíveis de serem confirmados no futuro. Com este estudo foi possível concluir que a maioria dos trabalhadores das empresas em estudo (75%) se sente satisfeita, em oposição a 25% dos casos que afirma sentir-se insatisfeito em relação ao seu trabalho. / Context: The study of the Professional Satisfaction (PS) is an actual theme that has aroused the attention of different investigators. Being a complex theme, the investigators have trying to understand the diversity of PS determinants, considering that approach, the only way to the managers being able to develop strategies to elevate the satisfaction level of the collaborators. Goals: Identify what factors contributes to the PS of the sample Method: As support, the study had a group of three direct implementation questionnaires applied to the workers of two factories from the area. To evaluate the PS we resort to the “Job Descriptive Index” (JDI) adapted to the Portuguese Population by Jesuíno, Sockza and Matoso (1983) and to the Organizational Satisfaction Scale, developed by Jorge Vala and his collaborators (1995). To settle the socio demographic characteristics of the sample it was used another questionnaire elaborated by the authors of the study to achieve those characteristics. The final sample is constituted by workers of two factories (N=52), 24 of them from the factory “P” and the other ones (28) of the factory “B”, resulting in a total of 48 males (92,3%) and 4 females (7,7%) mostly with an age average between 31 and 40 years (32,7%) The study had the duration of two semesters and it was developed in four distinct phases, the first one, the conceptual phase, the second one, the methodological, the third one, the empirical and the last one, the reflexive phase. Results: The results show us that factors like professional order and socio professionals as the relations between employers and managers, between employers at the same level, promotional expectations, service time and the different types of contract have influences over the PS. Above the social demographic factors the study verifies that factors like age and marital status have a moderate influence above PS. Conclusion: The achieved results must be analyzed as preliminaries since they have to be confirmed in the future. With this study it was possible to conclude that the majority of the studied workers in the factories (75%) feel satisfied and the remaining 25% of the cases says unsatisfied in his relation to work.

El objetivo del presente trabajo esa hondar sobre el concepto de informalidad y sus implicaciones en la realidad nacional porque, aunque para el lector desprevenido pueda parecer un contrasentido, es más normal la informalidad que la formalidad. Por este importantísimo detalle se vuelve de suma trascendencia analizar cuáles son las características de un sector en el que, según las estadísticas, están la mayoría de los empleados de Colombia. Se evaluarán las definiciones y características del sector, para conocer tanto su comportamiento como sus determinantes, a fin de aplicar luego los conceptos al caso específico de Colombia.

La presente investigación se convierte en un esfuerzo por tratar de establecer aquellos aspectos determinantes en la ineficacia de esta garantía en los Tribunales de sentencia de la ciudad de San Miguel. recoge de forma sistemática los parámetros por los cuales se dirigió el estudio sobre la ineficacia de la indemnización por daños de carácter moral. La situación problemática, los enunciados, los objetivos, los alcances y limitantes sirvieron de guía para la elaboración de la perspectiva teórica-práctica que se adoptó. Por tal motivo analizamos las causas de inaplicabilidad de la indemnización por daño moral, desde un enfoque Jurídico-sociológico, estudiamos el tratamiento actual de la indemnización por daño moral, en el campo del Derecho Penal; así como identificar la regulación doctrinaria y normativa de la indemnización por daño moral, en la normativa constitucional y secundaria para reflexionar sobre el desempeño que tienen las partes en cuanto a la exigibilidad de este derecho y poder distinguir los insumos doctrinarios y jurídicos con los que cuenta nuestra legislación penal, acerca de la indemnización por daño moral y describir el tratamiento que ha tenido la indemnización por daño moral en nuestro medio.

La retención del personal es una parte importante de los esfuerzos del área de recursos humanos y de la organización en general, ya que la desvinculación representa costos y daño de la imagen organizacional. Es así como el estudio y análisis de la retención de personal se ha convertido en parte de la gestión organizacional. Con la presente investigación se busca analizar las causas que inciden en la rotación de personal en la empresa prestadora de servicios del grupo Holcim, Holcrest S.A.S, ubicada en la ciudad de Medellín. El análisis parte de datos suministrados por la organización y derivados de una encuesta a los empleados activos. Con base en esta encuesta, se realiza un estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo. Los resultados muestran que las causas que más afectan en la rotación de personal son: el salario, oportunidades de carrera, reconocimiento, cooperación entre áreas, balance vida-trabajo e innovación. Estos se convierten en los puntos a tener en cuenta por parte de la organización para que tome decisiones que ayuden a minimizar la rotación por dichas causas mencionadas.
