Cultura médica popular y evolución de la mortalidad: los cuidados de salud en la infancia durante la España contemporánea

Tomando como marco espacial y cronológico la España de finales del XIX y primeras décadas del siglo XX, el trabajo analiza los cuidados prodigados a la infancia en materia de salud, y aborda el estudio de las causas de «orden cultural» que explican el fenómeno del descenso de la mortalidad infantil y juvenil. A partir de la literatura de divulgación higiénico-sanitaria, se exponen algunas de las prácticas y los cuidados que se aplicaban en el ámbito familiar, de forma particular por parte de las madres, para resolver los problemas de salud de los más pequeños.

Catharine Waugh McCullouch papers in the Mary Earhart Dillon collection, 1869-1945

Collection primarily documents McCulloch's research on women's legal status, and her work with the Illinois Equal Suffrage Association, the National American Woman Suffrage Association, and the League of Women Voters. There is also documentation of women in the legal profession, of McCulloch's friendships with the other women suffragists and lawyers, and some biographical material. The papers contain little information about her family or social life.

Contains a variety of material relating to cases before the courts of common pleas in Kent, New Castle, and Sussex counties. One file deals exclusively with cases regarding slaves. Most likely kept by Rodney but some materials attributed to Wilson's Red Book.

Letter regarding a bankruptcy case, later heard by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1797 (3 Dallas 369; Emory v. Greenough) and the upcoming national election.

List includes "Our originall deed with the Indians and counterbond" and "Governor Lovelace's confirmation...." One of the listed items, "The testimony of Robert Hudson, Benjamin Smith and John Shaw," is included in HU ALP4671.
