Evaluation of tensile tetention of Y-TZP crowns after long-term aging: Effect of the core substrate and crown surface conditioning

This study evaluated the effect of the core substrate type (dentin and composite resin) on the retention of crowns made of yttrium oxide stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (Y-TZP), submitted to three inner surface conditionings. For this purpose, 72 freshly extracted molars were embedded in acrylic resin, perpendicular to the long axis, and prepared for full crowns: 36 specimens had crown preparations in dentin; the remaining 36 teeth had the crowns removed, and crown preparations were reconstructed with composite resin plus fiber posts with dimensions identical to the prepared dentin. The preparations were impressed using addition silicone, and 72 Y-TZP copings for the tensile test were produced. Cementation was performed with a dual-cured cement containing phosphate monomers. For cementation, the crown preparation (dentin or resin) was conditioned with the adhesive system, and the ceramic was subjected to one of three surface treatments: isopropyl alcohol, tribochemical silica coating, or thin low-fusing glassy porcelain layer application plus silanization. After 24 hours, all specimens were submitted to thermocycling (6000 cycles) and placed in a special tensile testing device in a universal testing machine to determine failure loads. The failure modes of all samples were analyzed under a stereomicroscope. Two-way analysis of variance showed that the surface treatment and substrate type (alpha=0.05) affected the tensile retention results. The dentin substrate presented the highest tensile retention values, regardless of the surface treatment. When the substrate was resin, the tribochemical silica coating and low-fusing glaze application plus silanization groups showed the higher retention values.

A Presença da alteridade nos discursos sobre a literatura marginal em blogs: uma análise dialógica

O presente trabalho toma como objeto de estudo o discurso sobre a literatura marginal em blogs. A literatura marginal é um movimento literário que tem como tema central o relato da própria experiência de sobreviver nos espaços marginais e marginalizados da sociedade brasileira contemporânea. A vida na periferia, lugar este pouco representado pela literatura canônica, passa a ser extensão do que se escreve, deste modo, o autor assume de forma concreta seus distintivos traços artísticos, culturais e sociais. Tendo em vista a internet como instrumento de “democratização” da prática e do uso da palavra escrita, por conta da heterogeneidade dos discursos veiculados, a literatura marginal contemporânea encontra, neste espaço, a possibilidade para expor e divulgar seus discursos carregados de traços distintivos de hibridismo, contraditoriedade, além de propagar, por meio da linguagem coloquial, sua temática que possui um caráter coletivo e representa uma específica realidade brasileira. Nos blogs, mais especificamente, os escritores de literatura marginal encontram um espaço de divulgação de textos inéditos e de suas obras. Para a realização do estudo proposto, foram feitas considerações gerais sobre os blogs pesquisados, segundo uma abordagem dialógica do material de pesquisa. O corpus compõe-se de blogs de sujeitos que têm alguma relação com a literatura marginal contemporânea: o blog da editora literatura marginal (editoraliteraturamarginal.blogspot.com.br) e os blogs pessoais dos escritores Ferréz (ferrez.blogspot.com.br) e Sérgio Vaz (colecionadordepedras1.blogspot.com.br). Para a descrição/análise dos dados, foi feito um estudo bibliográfico de escritos bakhtinianos, que embasam teoricamente a pesquisa. Americanismos: uma outra perspectiva das eleições de 2012 nos EUA

O objetivo desse relatório é explicar e delimitar a criação do site “Americanismos: uma outra perspectiva das eleições de 2012 nos EUA”, que foi produto de uma experiência de campo no âmbito do jornalismo internacional, baseado nos preceitos teóricos e práticos estudados no curso de Jornalismo da Unesp e apresentado como trabalho de conclusão de curso (TCC). O blog criado, hospedado no domínio www.americanismos.net, também baseado em conceitos teóricos do jornalismo digital, é uma coletânea de reportagens, infográficos, vídeos, imagens e edição jornalística, organizados sob pautas da cobertura das eleições de 2012 nos Estados Unidos da América. A plataforma escolhida foi a digital, como forma de experimento do papel do correspondente internacional às luzes das novas mídias. As vazões de outorga das bacias hidrográficas dos rios Aguapeí e Peixe

This work presents procedures for getting data to estimate grant flow by means of statistical and hydrological methods, acquired during the graduate course, of some streams in the watersheds of Aguapeí and Peixe rivers, in order to make available this data set to Sao Paulo State water and electrical energy department – DAEE and to the Committees of Aguapeí and Peixe watersheds. This study was performed using discharge data and the were a selection process to identify some faults in the historical series. Finally it was calculated the 7-day moving averages, Q7 and some characteristics discharges like Q90 and Q95. Taking into account the average discharge en seven days in a 10-year recurrence interval, it was estimated the grant flow of some streams. Data were generated for six posts inside the Aguapei and Peixe watersheds

This paper aims to present the representations of the working world of high school students, the State School Prof. Dr. João Deoclécio da Silva Ramos, Distrito de Talhado, São José do Rio Preto (SP), through the use of virtual media, specifically the Blog de Aula – Mutirão de Sociologia (www.mutiraodesociologia.com.br). Understanding the representations of the world work enables students to think of a profession which identify themselves, and stimulate reflection as future professionals. The virtual media, especially blogs, allow students to express their ways of living and thinking the world of work. In the context of the city of Rio Preto, is especially relevant these representations of the world’s rural work, so this project is to collaborate in the development of research concerned with the description and understanding of processes that involve relationships between work, education and rural.

Este texto tem por objetivo apresentar as representações do mundo do trabalho dos alunos do Ensino Médio, da Escola Estadual Prof. Dr. João Deoclécio da Silva Ramos, Distrito de Talhado, São José do Rio Preto (SP), através do uso de mídias virtuais, especificamente o Blog de Aula - Mutirão de Sociologia (www.mutiraodesociologia.com.br). Compreender as representações de mundo trabalho possibilita aos alunos pensar em uma profissão a qual se identifiquem, além de estimular a reflexão enquanto futuros profissionais. As mídias virtuais, especialmente os blogs, possibilitam aos alunos expressar seus modos de viver e pensar o mundo do trabalho. No contexto da cidade de Rio Preto, é especialmente relevante aquelas representações do mundo do trabalho rural, de modo que este projeto vem a colaborar na elaboração de pesquisas interessadas na descrição e compreensão de processos que envolvem relações entre trabalho, educação e mundo rural.

Análisis organizacional del partido de la democracia social brasileña en el estado de San Pablo (1988-2006)

The article represents a theoretical and methodological approach to the analysis of organizational dynamics of political parties today, based on a study of the Party of Brazilian Social Democracy (PSDB) in the State of Sao Pãulo (period between 1988 to 2006). It is hypothesized that the structure and the institutional rules of a particular party, or even their election results, are insufficient to explain the inner workings, such as the role of party organization in the electoral system. An approach that articulates the relationship patterns, election results and posts held in the party, identified the factors that explain the political capital that circulated within the party and ensured its organizational dynamics over the period analyzed.

Ensino de ciências nos anos iniciais da escolarização: um projeto de investigação sobre as concepções e práticas de licenciandos em pedagogia como subsídio para elaboração de uma proposta formativa

Apresentamos um projeto que objetiva investigar concepções e práticas de alunos de um curso de Pedagogia em relação à natureza das ciências e ao ensino de ciências nos anos iniciais, constituindo subsídios para construção de uma proposta formativa na licenciatura. São utilizados questionários semi-estruturados e análise das produções de estágio, procurando identificar como tais concepções refletem nas propostas educativas elaboradas pelos licenciandos. A partir da análise, será elaborada, implementada e avaliada uma proposta formativa na disciplina “Conteúdos, Metodologias e Práticas em Ensino de Ciências”, contribuindo para clarificação das concepções alternativas e reflexão crítica sobre a natureza do conhecimento científico e sobre ensinar ciências nos anos iniciais da escolarização.
