Este texto tem como objectivo principal a descrição e análise das etapas do processo de pesquisa de informação, baseada nas etapas de Coral Collier Kuhlthau e nos skills de Michael B. Eisenberg, Doug Johnson e Robert E. BerKowitz. O aluno percorre diversas etapas, que produzem uma série de comportamentos relevantes, que vão desde a desordem à ordem cognitivas, ou seja, desde o desconhecimento das técnicas de recuperação da informação ao conhecimento das mesmas, e que permitem ao aluno estudar a matéria curricular e a realização de trabalhos com facilidade e destreza, credibilidade e autenticidade, afasta-o da tentação do plágio ou do paradigma do aluno wikipédia. É na biblioteca escolar que o aluno inicia o processo de pesquisa da informação, ou seja, a pesquisa estruturada, programada e disciplinada, quer nas fontes impressas, quer nas electrónicas. Contudo, existem ainda constrangimentos na aprendizagem do processo, uma vez que o mesmo não se encontra totalmente consolidado nos documentos vinculativos da escola, como sejam, o projecto curricular e o programa da biblioteca escolar. A biblioteca escolar carece de pessoal preparado e qualificado para implementar a conduta do trabalho colaborativo com todos os mediadores escolares, bem como, o ensino e a aprendizagem do processo.

This article is the result of research that aimed to analyze the presence of black characters in children's literature books selected by the National Program of School Library (PNBE) in 2010. Besides the analysis of the collection of the Program, the research subjects were students of second and fifth years from Public Elementary School in a town in the state of São Paulo. The findings indicated that only eight books addressed to the topic. Students of black ancestry recognized, through interviews and discussions in groups, absence of black characters that could be references for the construction of ethnic identity among other manifestations.

Introduction: This study is part of some activities developed in a school library in Marília - SP. Objective: To approach the voice pad use in historical narratives. Methodology: The book chosen by the storyteller for this experiment was “A Menina do Narizinho Arrebitado” written by Monteiro Lobato, the first Brazilian book to gain an interactive version for the pad device. Results: It was observe in that activity like a digital device excites children, being a new way to interaction with stories. With features enticing and easier to use, the tablets provide the reading levels of dynamism and interactivity so far unthinkable. Conclusions: With the results of this research, it is concluded that audiovisual resources allow interaction and dynamism, providing enthusiasm to the listeners; being a pleasurable and diverse action that enables the professional to use new tools to stimulate the taste to hear and share stories as well as to attend a school library.

The article reports on research conducted with fifteen teachers and forty-five students in three high schools municipal Marília - SP, with the goal of mapping relationships between school libraries, computer labs and digital devices. The investigation is linked to the other two poles: one in the Faculty of Education, Federal University of Uberlândia and another at the French Institute of Education, in Lyon, France. Responses were obtained through questions previously formulated and recorded by scholars in an interview situation. The article initially retrieves historical projects of French in the late nineteenth century with the intention of establishing linkages with the situation in 2012, in Brazil. It then presents and comments on the graphics with data. The findings indicate the absence of organicity in relations between libraries and computer labs. Handheld devices outside of school are predominantly used to play and participate in social networking sites.

This paper seeks to relate issues to the formation of the reader and school routines that directly interfere in the way responsible for the mediation work there included the act of reading, and also reflect on the pedagogical implications arising therefrom. The resumption of data generated in research developed in the years 2007 to 2010 shows that both the classroom as the school library has been constituted as ambiance suitable for training the child reader. Theoretical and methodological concepts related to child development in the act of reading is presented by discussing access to books and children’s literature led to the formation of the child reader, linking them to the old and new reading technologies.
