This Project aims to study and verify the importance of effective communication in public organizations, considering current factors such as globalization and new trends in the behavior of the individuals. The issue is relevant because of the need to understand the relationships between the public institution and the various interest groups and research development of new practices of Public Relations as regards their influence on the municipal level. In this context, we present the concept of city, communication, citizenship and participation, focusing on the integration of these elements in the concept of Public Communication. Thus, attem pts to develop the applicability of instruments involving these concepts through scenario analysis, making communication purposal to the prefecture of Laranjal Paulista

The following dissertation aims to propose an institutional and intercultural projecy of reception and integration of foreign students from academic mobility programs for the campus unit of Bauru. Such action is necessary because of the absence of a reception program of these students, the reception and integration into the social and cultural reality of the place in which they live is a fundamental part of international experience. As an example for this institutional proposal, we discuss the extension of project experience Brasil de Todo Mundo, which aims to deepen the reflections on the Brazilian cultural universe for foreign students who are in Brazil over a period, while taking academic mobility in the Universidade Estadual Paulista, Bauru campus. Student leadership project, Brasil de Todo Mundo emerged from the international experience in mobility programs offered by UNESP, from students of campus Bauru, when in the back of their experiences, they realized that they could continue being tourists your own country with the reception of foreign students. In addition, the identification of expectations in social and intercultural skills, in addition to reasons connected with the increase academic and language skills are a form of very strong approach, which helps in creating intercultural dialogue spaces between the students, the main objective of the project

Usually organic polymeric diodes are made with a semiconductor layer placed between two electrodes in a sandwich-like architecture, where the electrodes are deposited on the surfaces of a polymeric semiconductor film. This methodology leads to two main problems: i) the polymeric film top surface is rough and irregular, resulting in non-uniform electric field into the device; ii) during the deposition of metallic electrode in the top surface polymeric film, by thermal evaporation, occurs the diffusion of metal atoms into the polymeric film, changing the material electronic structure. Thus, the metal-semiconductor junction is not well defined, which is essential for the production of good quality Schottky diode, which exhibits ideality factor close to the unity and low turn-on voltage. In order to avoid these two problems, in the present research was proposed to manufacture an organic diode with the semiconductor polymeric layer deposited over bimetallic (gold and aluminum) interdigitated electrodes. The doping of the active layer was performed by immersing the device in hydrochloric acid solution with pH 2 during different times in order to promote different doping levels of the semiconductor polymer. Was verified that the proposed diode, which exhibits well-defined metal-semiconductor junction, operates as a Schottky diode, with good ideality factor, 10 3, and low turn-on voltage, 1,2 0,2 V, in comparison with conventional organic polymeric diodes. Contrasting with the ideality factor and turn-on voltage, the diode rectification ratio was obtained as 7, a value lower than the expected for a good organic diode. Was also showed that the diode characteristics were dependent on the semiconductor polymer doping level, and that the diode characteristics were optimized with doping promoted by immersion in the acid solution for times longer than 50 s. The contamination of the physical environment occurs as a result of the lack of planning and inadequate management of hazardous products. Due to the difficulty of the characterization and study of soil and groundwater, the contamination has been long neglected. The characterization of these areas by research techniques through direct methods such as physical and chemical analysis, are widely used in the diagnosis and monitoring. However, despite presenting quantitative results, this method is not representative in spatial terms. The purpose of this work is to bring geophysical complementation with the diagnosis, bringing the spatial element for the detection of the contamination plume. In the study area, there was a railway accident in 1999 in which three wagons fell and spilled 240,000 L of diesel onto the soil. The main objective is to assess the presence of contaminants in the residual phase and dissolved in the subsurface, using the technique of Electrical Tomography (ETR), understand the effects of natural attenuation process in the degradation of hydrocarbons and changes in electrical properties in soil and groundwater. The results allowed the definition of three distinct patterns of resistivity region with presence of dissolved phase, set in a historical chemical analyzes: low values (> 60.m) associated with the presence of hydrocarbons in an advanced stage of degradation, intermediate values (260.me 511 .m) indicative of coexistence of residual hydrocarbons and dissolved phase, and high values (> 1000.m), which reveal the prevalence of residual phase with incipient degradation, possibly in high toxicity concentrations for effective action of biodegradation processes. The diagnostic of areas with potential accumulation of residual phase can subsidize the planning of remediation techniques and promote the complete decontamination of the area

Brazilian Curricular Directrix demand changes on teaching dental surgeon, proposing new scenes of learning and study other than the classroom. So, pedagogic projects should search for integral and adequate education by relating teaching, research and extension/assistance. This paper discusses the importance of university extension activities on teaching Odontology students and relates the experience of Araatuba Dental School of So Paulo State University. This school develops some university extension activities since the 60s by Dental Service Beyond School (SEMO, in portuguese). Among the activities included by SEMO there are several projects, such as: Program of Dental Attention for Pregnant Women, Program of Dental Attention to Juvenile Foundation at Araatuba, Always Smiling Health Promotion for Institutionalized Elderlies, Santa Clara de Assis Nursery School Program of Dental Attention, and "Promotion of oral health in Araatuba public kindergarten schools. These programs give the student knowledge of structure dimensions of public health services; chance to participate on attendance for the population, comprehension of oral health politics, and the role of dental surgeon in social context, where these students will work in the future. The positive impact obtained with these services is perceived by students return. Most of them feel satisfied about the experience lived there.

The use of technologies called computedassisted, such as CAD - (Computed Aided Design), CAM - (Computed Aided Manufacturing) and CNC - (Computed Numerical Control), increasingly demanded by the market, are needed in the teaching of subjects technical drawing and design courses for engineering and design. However its use findl barriers in the more conservative wing of the academy, who advocate the use of traditional drawing, for the settling of the concepts and the development of spatial reasoning. This study aimed to show the results obtained with the design and production of an apparatus for measuring a three-dimensional computer-aided milling machine, interaction, integration and consolidation of concepts, fully demonstrating that the learning of computer-assisted technology is possible, and its use is most appropriate, meaningful and productive, than the use of instruments in the classic design.
