Besides that, the novel discusses the question of fictional discourse construction, showing the potentialities (and limits) of language as an intermediation between life and art.

This article talks about the relationship between the body and sign, from the ideas of the Bakhtin Circle. The corpus analyzed is the spectacle Body (2000), designed from a disk of the same title (2000), by Arnaldo Antunes (AA). The aim is to reflect on the expressiveness of the body as a sign and the signic body, since the dialogue between the word (the song) and the body in action makes up the human architectural spectacle.

Under this point of view, this article analyzes how the novel Galileia, by Ronaldo Correia de Brito, retakes, refuses or brings up to date, in contemporary prose, some aspects that established this kind of production inside literary diachrony in Brazil.

Even after a decade of left-wing parties who prioritized implementing high-impact policies on social inequality which characterizes Latin America, the democratic deficit persists, both in the context of local and national governments and of the multilateral organizations of the hemisphere. Reflecting on the participation of civil society in the control of governments and the State in the past few decades is an absolute necessity for those who acknowledge the need to strengthen our political citizenship.
