Por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, a prefeitura do município de Botucatu implantou, em 2005, um de seus mais importantes projetos de educação complementar, a Escola do Meio Ambiente (EMA). Desde a sua fundação, a EMA tem por objetivo desenvolver e apoiar práticas pedagógicas e pesquisas, que visam à conscientização e responsabilidade socioambiental. Dentre suas diversas atividades, está a Trilha Interpretativa do Patrimônio Histórico, voltada, principalmente, para o 1º e o 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental. O caminho interpretado resgata a cidadania, proporcionando ao aluno recuperar as memórias históricas da cidade, reafirmar a sua identidade e consequentemente, buscar a sua valorização pessoal e social. A história do município começa a sair de um misterioso e velho baú. O momento possibilita abrir espaço para a arte da narrativa. Um cocar fala da cultura indígena, um chapéu de palha, nos leva à época dos tropeiros e um mapa de feltro exemplifica o processo de imigração. Ao término da vivência, os educandos saem à rua, para conhecer, em detalhes, os prédios que ajudaram a construir a nossa história. Através dos métodos de avaliação, utilizados nesses três anos, anotações sobre as observações feitas em trilhas e questionários respondidos pelos professores, pudemos constatar que os alunos sabem muito pouco sobre a cidade e que possuem dificuldade de relacionar fatos históricos com a sua própria existência e com as mudanças que promovem no meio. Observou-se que além de tratar com descaso os prédios históricos, os alunos não conseguem citar dados sobre a fauna e a flora local. O mais preocupante é o fato de que para eles, a cidade não representa o meio ambiente. Logo, ficou clara a necessidade de se produzir um material de apoio que tivesse por objetivo preencher estas... Many young people have chosen go on exchange experiences, expecting to live in a context full of diversity, to know elements in the country they are visiting and also to develop themselves personally and professionally. Organizational and cultural values can be acquired or developed through these professional exchange experiences. This paper aimed to understand the vision of young people who went on the social exchange of AIESEC related to cultural and organizational values in the experience. AIESEC is a global and nonprofit organization formed by university students, with the objective of peace and the fulfillment of the humankind needs. Thus, professional exchanges are the main tool for achieving this goal. The study analyzes the experiences of 15 exchange students as well as the point of view of five managers of the organization in order to gain a broad perspective in relation to exchange experiences to understand how young people understand the concept of culture. The interview results suggest that in labor relations, autonomy and egalitarianism are values that go together, while the harmony could be observed by the fact that the projects deal with the issue of sustainability. Furthermore, responsibility, tolerance and collective were the human values that the exchange students developed the most, indicating that experience enables openness to live the diversity and to the intercultural dialogue in order to value local cultures of the visited countries

This work presents a project of Action Search in a consumption industry of the sector of personal care, health and beauty. Following the implementation steps of Autonomous Maintenance Pillar of TPM methodology, stands for Total Productive Maintenance, this work aims to ensure the advancement of some machines in a production line of the company to the next steps of the methodology implementation, demonstrating the results achieved by the TPM. In the company in question, the TPM has been implemented in the past but lost strength over the years and some of its concepts were abandoned, producing then a drop in the equipments efficiency, increased wastes and breaks in the processes, as well as loss in product quality. Then, the need arose to restart the implementation process from the beginning, to strictly follow all the steps of the methodology, ensuring increased efficiency of equipment and processes. Through training and a changing in the company culture, it was possible a joint effort between Operation and Maintenance in order to enhance the knowledge of the operators on their machines. Initially, it was developed a general cleanliness program of equipments so that it could be possible to find the anomalies in the process. Subsequently, operators and maintainers were trained to detect anomalies, enabling equipments to work under their basic conditions of operation and subsequently building provisional standards of equipment cleaning, lubrication and inspection. Through the improvement presented by some indicators such as OEE, wastes, bankruptcies and unavailability, it was proved the importance and the positive effects of TPM implementation in manufacturing

Negócio de Artesão: Empreendendo no Artesanato Pessoal is a blog about entrepreneurship for craftspeople. The present work comes to help in the formation of the artisan, bringing material for study on business, experts and organizations who understand the subject show up to talk about several topics in a simple, concise and relaxed way. Moreover, we also want to tell the story of people who already undertake projects, and supplement their income by selling products they make, humanizing the testimonies. The overall goal is to generate interest for the entrepreneurial activity in people who do handcrafts or who want to start doing it. Thus, people who once used to handcraft just as a hobby can now find a way to supplement their income. The specific goals are: to encourage people to think of a business of their own; stimulate the creative industries through the blog; contribute to the formalization of the artisan; stimulate the exchange of knowledge among artisans; to spread the work of artisans. The methodology used for this project was exploratory research, using bibliographical and desk research, in addition to interviewing and direct and indirect documentary techniques. The method used was the deductive approach, as the methods of procedure used were the historical and comparative ones. As a result, we have the blog named Negócio de Artesão, which can be used both to inform the reader about how he can conceive their enterprise and to be able to make money from their work

This action-research work presents tools which are related to production monitoring: Follow-up of Products Release from Quality Department and Follow-up of Production Volumes. Both tools allows controlling release delays of finished goods based on the quality specifications, and the accurate analysis of production volumes variations compared to pre-established plans. They have direct impact into enterprises inventory levels that are part of Toiletries, Perfumery and Cosmetics market segment. By applying these tools, it´s possible to identify opportunities for process optimization that brings benefits for the final customer. The results seen by the tools application are presented by the analysis of delayed stock for release quantities evolution and testimonies from professionals of Supply Chain

The various changes occurring in society in the late twentieth century created a context of true technological revolution based on information. These changes resulted in three points: a new way to communicate with the emergence of new media and communication platforms; a new role assigned to organizations increasingly blamed for social problems, and a greater access to information by society, which forms more critical and demanding. The convergence of these three consequences observed strengthening of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility and the importance of internal communication in their construction. This literature review and empirical research, based on a case study with the Junior Enterprise of Public Relations at Unesp Bauru, studied the role of Public Relations in the process of communication management as a facilitator of internal processes towards mobilization for Social Responsibility. It intent to see which are the main barriers to the inclusion of the concept too. The study shows the relevant current context itself, in which the concern with the changing social scenario should be seen as opportunities for growth. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility should be inserted into the organizational DNA to its consolidation, characterizing itself as a cultural and dependent matter of internal restructuring. The role of public relations in this context covers the management of communication and harmony of the interests of all public organization

The process of globalization resulted in a variety of new products emerging. Companies were obliged to find new ways of maintaining the attractiveness for their products to sustain their brands in the economic field. So in this scenario social accountability became an important subject for companies that want to achieve a positive image among consumers. This paper aims to explain how organizational communication is essential to create and manage social accountability in a company. Aiming to explain the relation between organizational communication and social accountability, this final project had three main purposes: establish the connection between organizational communication and social accountability, point out and discuss the main strategies in this communication field, and then propose an action plan for Raízen to solve an established problem in one of its factories
